They came out and patched up where they thought the leak might be but a few months later the leak happened again. I decided a new set of eyes might be good so Jeff Kimbrel from Leakmasters came out. He had come out for my original estimate and I regretted not having used them the first time. Jeff couldn't have been any better. He looked over my roof and walls and gave me a few suggestions including caulking around an outlet that was likely the source of the leak. I wanted him to work on my exterior walls as a potential source of the leak but they don't supply that service. Jeff knew my roof was recently coated and he wasn't going to get a sale but he was thorough and professional throughout. Guess what? He didn't even charge me. Amazing customer service and I wasn't even a customer. I have a long warranty with the company that coated by roof but in retrospect I'd call Jeff and have Leakmasters coat my roof if I were to do it again!

I called West Oahu Roofing after the storm that hit Oahu on Thursday, January 30, 2025 because I discovered a small leak in my living room. Bernard, the owner & President came out Saturday following the storm and found the leak right away. Despite being a small job, he promptly submitted a proposal. After other companies came out, I hired West Oahu Roofing. Bernard also sent his carpenter to look at a corner of my home subject to rot due to rain/moisture. In a few days both my leak in the living room and exterior rot were fixed on the same day! I certainly recommend West Oahu Roofing, and will call them for future roofing issues.

Professional on the phone and when scheduling the appointment, their estimator, Nick called me when he was a few minutes out to let me know he was coming. Just finished talking to Nick about my situation. To my surprise he recommended a completely different course of action. Rather than just agreeing to quote down spouts that might not fix the problem, Nick suggested checking with a plumber about snaking the existing down spouts. It resulted in no new business for him this time but I was very impressed by his integrity and home maintenance being what it is, I know soo we or later I will have a reason to need a roofing or rain gutter company. I know who'll be at the top of my list to call.

After discussing the damage and recommendations we wanted it fixed asap as it rains a lot where we live plus LALA was still a threat. Contacted Koolau Roof Tech for an estimate to rejuvenate my shingles. Kirt came by and provided an…read moreestimate which included photos of areas in need of pre-treatment (Loose nails, torn shingles, etc.) that was included in the price. I decided to go ahead with Koolau and scheduled a treatment date. Unfortunately, bad weather (Rain/wind) made the job challenging with the possibility of overspray to my neighbors. Kirt understood and wanted me to be comfortable so we rescheduled. Treatment day finally arrived but with some moderate wind. The job should have taken 2hrs but Kirt was on the roof for 3hrs using an overspray shield on the end of the nozzle which prevented overspray but limited the spray area to smaller portions at a time thus, extended the job time. Not sure other contractors would have been willing to sacrifice/extend their work time especially when the price was already agreed to. That's called integrity, as a professional, which is hard to count on today. I also received photos of the work done after treatment I'm good with the process and work performed.

The addition of the new section of gutter was challenging given that the fascia was ~22' off the ground level with no access from the upper roof itself due to the presence of solar panels. Impressive work given that he installed the gutter and downspout on his own! He uses only quality materials such as heavy gauge copper, copper screws and hangers. David is honest, personable and hard working. He is detailed oriented and produces high quality results. We had our first relatively heavy rain shower this past evening and all of his work passed with no leaks. I have dealt with many contractors over the years, and I can honestly say that David Kelly is one of the best that I have done business with. I am lucky that we were given the opportunity to work with him.

His friendliness and work ethic had us going back to him when we were ready to replace the gutters in June 2025. He provided a quick and simple estimate/proposal and worked with our house painting contractor's schedule to get everything done right. David quickly dropped the old gutters and hauled them away a few days before the painters arrived to start cleaning and prepping the house. Once they were done, David returned to fabricate and install our new gutters. He and his assistants were very careful on our tile roof and finished the job as scheduled. We are very happy with David's work and would highly recommend him to others.
