Whitney was prompt in coming to my home and evaluate my request. Original roofer's silicone coating was too efficient for the recent Kona-low heavy rain and water from roof causing near-flooding. Roofer did not reply to suggesting a solution. Whitney installed new raingutter and replaced old one on lanai with his coworker. All this took 1 week to evaluate, sign agreement, and complete job. I appreciate his timeliness and professionalism. Mahalo! read more

I recommend Whitney for gutter installation. He installed black aluminum gutters at my house and it was done really well and at a fair price. He showed up for the quote and job when he said he would, clearly communicated the process with me, and made sure I was comfortable with the way he was planning to do the installation. Professional and reliable thank you Whitney! read more

Ten years ago we bought vinyl rain gutters and installed it ourselves. Six months ago we replaced it with 6" aluminum rain gutters. We got through the rainy season without our usual flooding and the walkway around the house remained dry. I highly recommend professional installation of rain gutters. More specifically the average person does not have access to a Seamless Gutter Machine. We have a 1930's house and it needs a lot of maintenance and repairs. We have encountered numerous construction people and handymen for various jobs. Whitney Jamile is old school, knowable and honest. His bid was hand written with a fare price. (We got 5 bids) He answers his phone calls/text and shows up to do the estimate and work. His crew are professionals: courteous, no swearing, no smoking/cigarette butts, never asked for water or use our bathrooms. Whitney was training one person and I notice how he gave clear instructions and payed attention to details and safety for his crew. Very glad I found Jamile construction on Yelp. read more

Whitney was the best! He was quick in responding and we were able to get an appointment and estimate on our gutter repair and replacement. He got the job done in a day. Quality work, and affordable price. Very friendly and easy to work with Mahalo Whitney! read more

We recently had our home relevelled and needed rain gutters installed. We also had a dilapidated, outdoor wooden staircase that needed to be rebuilt. We used Jamile Construction for both projects, and they did a great job. In particular, a lot of time was spent on the staircase, and it shows. Whitney improved on the original design and made it rock solid. Thank you, Jamile Construction! read more

I had gutters that were almost 30 years old. We needed to have them cleaned and repaired. Whitney did a good job except that the next day when it rained, some leaks remained. He had to come back to repair those, which he did. He did replace a damaged part of the gutters and did a good job there. I also asked him to fix an outdoor electrical outlet that wasn't working. He tried but wasn't able to do it. He was straightforward about what needed to be done. read more

Good job Whitney ! I'm happy to see your hard work pay off and also have positive reviews !

Whitney Jamile did a great job for me, quickly coming to remove a dangling section of my second-story rain gutter and later replacing the entire 50-foot section with a new completely seamless gutter. He showed up when he said he would and did his work promptly and cleaned up after. I thought his price was very reasonable. You can trust this guy. read more

We needed new gutters for our house. We had three quotes, and Jamile construction's quote was in the middle. We went with them because they seemed to be the most knowledgeable and were very responsible. Great communication, which is very important to me. They finished the job in one day and the gutters looked beautiful. Jamile construction was a great company to work with. I definitely recommend this company if you need new gutters. read more

They were Friendly, came on the day we arranged, and did a good job. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

I started my gutter installation research with one of the "big box" retailers... (rhymes with "Hose") After my initial house visit consultation and three weeks go by, I'm still without a solid quote to do the job. After literally 5 follow up calls and 2 canceled appointments, I'm ready to make a switch. I start over and go back to the drawing board with a new contractor. I called Whitney at 7:30am on a Wednesday morning for my initial consultation... he was at the house at 8am to do measurements. AMAZING responsive service! 48 hours later the custom gutter installation is 100% completed to the exact specifications discussed. Professional quality work, extremely responsive, and fair prices... highly recommend. This local contracting company outshines the big box retailers and I'll definitely be working with them again for future projects. read more

Whitney recently removed and replaced our 30+ year old gutters. He promptly followed up my initial call by coming to our house and inspecting the old gutters. He thoroughly explained what to expect from the finished job. Later he submitted a proposal listing the materials to be used, work specifics, warranty, and total cost. He and his crew showed up on the scheduled day and were finished shortly after lunch. Before the final payment, he walked me around the house to inspect the newly installed gutters and downspouts. He did a great job and you could tell that he takes pride in his work. Whitney was initially recommended by our roofer but now I would definitely recommend him too. He and his crew deserve a 5-star rating! read more

I called Jamile Construction to get a quote to repair sections of my gutter system that were broken and an area that was leaking. Whitney was very responsive. He came out to give me a quote for the repairs, which I thought was very reasonable. I also asked for a quote to replace my existing 5" gutters with a new 6" system. The quote again was very reasonable and I went ahead with replacing the entire system. The installation went well and my new gutters look great. Most of all, what stood out for me was Whitney's customer service. He called and responded when he said he would, showed up to provide an estimate on time, and showed up on time to do the work. Simple things that meet expectations and go a long way. I was very satisfied with the overall experience. I would recommend Jamile Construction for any rain gutter needs. read more

I recently hired Jamile Construction to clean my gutters, and add to our existing gutter system. Whitney was a pleasure to work with -- prompt, responsive, showed up when he said he would. Start to finish was less than one week. The quality is excellent. The price was very reasonable. And now that I know Jamille Construction does more than just gutters, I'm starting a list for other things around our house for them to work on. I will absolutely use them again. read more

Called several companies for estimates on gutter installation. Whitney called and came on Super Bowl Sunday before the game started. He walked around the house with me, explained to me in detail how it would be an extensive project due to our roof design and got us a detailed estimate 1 week later. We accepted his competitive bid, and scheduled to have the work done a month later. He and his crew finished the work over a week, despite torrential rains at times. There were several parts of our roof where he called us out to look, showing us how uneven some of the roof was, and gave us the choice of "making the gutters look lined up with the roof, or making it so it drains the water in the best way possible." We chose the latter, and with our next big rain, the difference has been remarkable. Whitney also installed rain barrels and drain extensions to the sidewalk away from our house. The gutters work well and look very nice. Would recommend Jamile Construction for any gutter project. read more

Whitney Jamile is a very professional and polite guy. The kind of guy you wish all companies would be like. He explained his process in detail in layman's terms. He didn't try to fancy up his words. Whitney Jamile responded promptly to our inquiry for an estimate on a mildly complicated gutter system. He was able to take into consideration what we wanted (installing rain barrels, prevent flooding around certain sections of our home, fixing/repairing sections of original copper gutter system, and building new gutters around other sections), giving us recommendations in what to replace and what to use from our current system taking into consideration price, integrity of the gutters, safety and aesthetics. He's honest, very fair and reasonable in his prices, and just an all around great person to work with. He originally gave us a start timeline of 6 weeks, but was able to come out in less than 3, and get this job done in one day. He also ran into unexpected issues during the job but only charged us a nominal fee for the extra work. Thank you Whitney and your team for all your hard work! read more

After taking a number of quotes from other contractors for comparisons, I asked Whitney for a quote to install gutters on my rental unit as there was a flooding problem at the back of the house due to the recent heavy rains. Whitney scheduled an appointment a few days out due to his very busy schedule. However, he had an opening the next day due to other customers' rescheduling (not his doing) and called me to see if we could do the inspection/assessment earlier. He arrived on site a little earlier than his scheduled tume, which is always a good thing. He did his comprehensive and thorough assessment in a short time, thanked me and informed me he would have his quote to me i a day or two. He called me the next day and wanted to schedule some time to discuss some observations he had and some ideas and options he wanted to present. He showed up early, again, and presented to me in detail what he thought we should do to address my flooding issue at the back of the house. His observations and innovative ideas were spot on and impressive. I was so impressed, I hired him on the spot because all the other contractors didn't bother to go into any details or offer any ideas about addressing the real issue, which was the flooding. Whitney is so good, he installed the gutters around the back of the house to immediately address the primary issue. He completed the project on budget and way ahead of schedule. He and his team were always prompt, always on time, courteous, professional and cleaned up the job site after they were done. I hope I can always get onto Whitney's schedule to do my other future projects with him, and only him and his excellent crew! Mahalo big-time Whitney! You guys are just awesome! read more

I did not do business with Jamile Construction, BUT I'm still giving them 5 stars. There were extenuating circumstances (termite damage, permitting, architectural plans that I didn't account for. My fault, not theirs) that took me out over my budget but I'm so impressed with their professionalism and graciousness that I'll be back with a bigger budget. They know how to instill trust with people but just being straight up. Mahalos!!! read more

Whitney Jamile and his team are amazing! From the beginning to the very end, I would recommend him to all my friends and family. He was punctual, communicative, responsive, and easy to deal with. His attention to detail and customer service is amazing and he wanted to ensure that I was happy with the work. We met twice before the work began to ensure we had an agreed-upon plan. My two-story house in Kailua needed a lot of seamless gutters and Whitney was able to match the color of the downspouts with the structural posts so the downspout blended in with the post (different color than the white gutters up on the house). He also came back a few days after the job was done to do a couple of touch-ups and cut one of the downspouts shorter--I forgot to point out to him the hidden plumbing shut-off valve under the house that couldn't be covered by the downspout. For a stress-free experience worth the investment, definitely call Whitney! read more

After doing my research on Yelp and BBB, I decided to go with Jamile Construction. I needed repairs on the fascia boards due to molding and cracking; And to replace/update all the existing gutters. That day I contacted JC to schedule my home inspection and estimate. The next day Whitney came to the property and we discussed what I needed done and the services and products he has to offer. The next morning he had his estimate sent to my email which kept my budget happy. During my experience with Jamile Construction, Whitney kept me informed on materials and schedule; He and his crew were always on time; Repaired, caulked, and painted the fascia boards prior to installing the gutters, as agreed. He and his workers are very friendly, worked safely, and cleaned up after the day ended; Started and finished the job as promised. I would definitely use JC again....highly recommended. C. I contacted Whitney Jamile to get an estimate for some repair and improvement work on our wind-damged lanai. We agreed on a time the following day for him to come and look over the proposed work. He arrived at the agreed time, looked things over, asked me my opinion on the best way to proceed, and told me he would get an estimate to me within a day or two. We agreed on the fair price and set a beginning date. To make a long story short, Whitney went about completing the job in an exemplary manner, keeping me informed throughout as to his schedule etc. and all went as agreed upon and on time. I greatly appreciated Whitney's professionalism and work ethic as he did an excellent job and we're highly satisfied with the end product. We also were most pleased at how well he kept up the cleanliness of the site - cutting the lumber well away from our pool and sweeping up any and all debris before quitting for the day. 5 Stars for this Company. Called him, Whitney came out and gave a very fair and reasonable estimate. I was looking for an estimate to install gutters in my Mililani home and had called 2 gutter companies. I left messages for both to call me back and got no call back from any of them. Disappointed, I looked up Yelp and came across Jamile Construction and called. Whitney (owner) answered right away and we set up an appointment. He arrived on time, surveyed the house, and told me he'll email the estimate within couple days. As promised I received the estimate within couple days. The price was reasonable, within my budget. We set up an installation date. On the day of the install, Whitney arrived a little early (which was fine) and a co worker arrived latter. He told me it was going to take a full day but they finished in 6 hrs. Everything was professionally and neatly done and they made sure they cleaned up afterwards.
