I don't know a lot about gutters, but Sonny does. I had new gutters installed a few years ago by another company. They lasted a year or less before they started leaking. Same company came out to quote a gutter cleaning/repair and the guy just said "they used too much caulk". We both knew replacing that caulk would last about as long as the first time. Cost almost as much, too . So for a couple years when it rained, we got more wet from the waterfalls coming off our gutters than we would have from the rain. Called Sonny, hoping maybe a pro could repair or reinstall all the leaking corners/joints. He suggested replacement would be a much better option, but was kind enough to talk me through and quote both options. Seemed pretty clear this was one of those things where if the material failed, maybe could fix that, but to correct wrong installation, pretty much gotta install correctly. (my problems weren't even just the corners - pretty much all the connection points...) And they did. And couldn't be happier. Hasn't been a year so not a fair comparison, but I'm telling you, there's no comparison. Rain we got from Lala was a pretty good test and Adonai's gutters (and install!) passed with flying colors. (On top of everything, Sonny's crew re-worked a downspout and part of the existing slope on the fly b/c it was a better way to do it. Seriously, six stars for these guys.) read more

I was in the market for rain gutters and found this company through yelp. I gave them a call and spoke to Sonny. He was very professional and willing to accommodate me with scheduling. He came down, and drew a schematic diagram of my house, and what it needed. Afterward, he mentioned that he will email me a proposal. I questioned him on the type of gutters, and what he recommended. He spoke with conviction and knowledge, like he knew everything about rain gutters. He is a great asset to Adonai's Rain gutters, LLC, If you are looking for gutters for your home or business. Give them a call, I highly recommend this company. read more

Great group they tackled my concerns and they are able to provide good quality gutters!!

My house needed rain gutters. I was looking through Yelp for some recommendations and found this company. I called the number and Sonny answered the phone. He seems pleasant enough, took all my information and scheduled an appointment with me on a Monday between 9 and 11 AM to give me an estimate on my gutters. I stayed home from work that day to meet him, but as time went on, nobody showed up. At first I thought he was just running late; a phone call would've been nice. However, the whole day went by, no call from Sonny to update me on why he could not make it or why he no showed. I can understand if you're running late, just let me know. If you're too busy to take on new business, just let me know as well and I would look for another company. This guy clearly is not interested in business. Very inconsiderate. read more

I had a great experience with Adonai's Rain Gutters, LLC for a combination of services--installing gutter guards, adding bird spikes, and repairing the mesh over a bathroom vent where a bird had managed to build a nest. From the very beginning, Sonny, the foreman, and his team member Isaiah were both professional and personable. They took the time to explain what they were doing, were respectful of our home, and worked efficiently and neatly. It was clear they cared about doing the job right and making sure we were happy with the results. Everything turned out great--no more bird problems, and the gutters are now protected and ready for the seasons ahead. If I ever need gutter work again, I will definitely call Adonai's Rain Gutters, LLC. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for honest, quality work from a team that's both skilled and kind. read more

AWESOME!!! very pleased with their service would recommend them to family and friends or anyone looking for gutters.

Sonny was so easy to work with from the first consultation and estimate...to install and completion. From his office manager Lorene and his field crew, they did an awesome job and I love my gutters! I no longer have to worry about any kind of water intrusion, and it also just gives the house a more modern finished look. read more

we asked for and received an estimate. the estimate included a detailed cad drawing for the gutter layout. The lay out clearly marked the downspout locations and the gutter positions. the written estimate included the work summary and the pricing. This project at our home was to replace the existing PVC 4-inch gutters with 6-inch aluminum gutters. Sonny was able to schedule the work within a weeks' time. Sonny suggested that they paint all the facias before installing the gutter. This was a great suggestion and saved me the trouble of hiring a paint company. They arrived on time on the date scheduled. They did the work in four hours. the workmanship was outstanding. they cleaned up before they left. Sonny and the installers were always pleasant, respectful and mindful of our property. I seldom write reviews. This good work deserves to be recognized. read more

I needed some rain gutters on my 5,000 square foot house including a second story. The previous owner left behind a huge cube-shaped rainwater tank that was not being used. I needed someone to install gutters to control the water running off my eaves and to reroute some of it into my water tank so that I could redirect it to my schrub beds. One day, I was riding my bicycle to the beach when I spotted Sonny installing some gutters in an expensive neighborhood. I troubled him for a card thinking he must be good. I was delighted that he was able to send a crew to my house within 2 weeks. The job was completed in one day including the connection to the cube-shaped rainwater tank and another pipe for a different gutter that I had installed to route some of the water out into our lawn. For the latter, they had to curl downpipe around the second story stairs landing so as not damage a beautiful Monstera vine. No Monstera's were harmed in the process. ha ha About a month later, I realized that I didn't order gutter screens. These are important do to the difficulty of accessing the second story gutters. They returned to install some high quality screens. Once again, the crew were very professional. read more

This company did something really strange. I requested a quote through their website and after not getting a response back after a week, I placed a call and left a voice message. I didn't get a call back after a few days so I called another company for a quote. Then two weeks later, someone from this company shows up at my door unannounced and says he's here to give me a quote. I don't understand how this company does business but I especially don't appreciate someone coming to my house without notice. The man who came wasn't apologetic and told me "you're welcome" before leaving. read more

Sonny and his crew did a great job designing and installing a gutter system for me. My house was challenging, but there was no grumbling from Sonny, only solutions. It's nice to have peace of mind when the heavy rains hit. I contacted several gutter companies to get quotes (I literally have 15 gutter companies in my contractor spreadsheet that I reached out to), and I've had other work done on my house in recent years (upwards of 200 companies contacted in my spreadsheet), and I can say that Adonai's is in the top tier of contractors who provide quality work at a reasonable price, and have a can-do attitude. read more

Called about a small plant growing in my rain gutter downspout. Owner came out and assessed the problem and quoted me a reasonable price to remove and clean out the gutter. Work crew came on time for the appointment and quickly removed plant, flushed out the gutter and reattached all parts with no problem. Easy job by the crew completed in about 30 minutes. Just had Adonai's do our gutter installation. So affordable and professional! Great work and attention to detail. I live in Hoakalei and our association finally approved the OG style gutters. So glad we waited to install ours. We couldn't be happier with Adonai's! Call them now! read more

Sonny was great with a quick estimate for our whole house and also follow-up estimate for an added gazebo. All work done promptly by son and team as described at a fair price. Especially appreciate their professionalism, quality, kindness and caring. Our gutters look and function perfectly. Love this awesome family company! read more

These guys are the Real Deal! From the first phone call to completion of our copper gutter add-on, Sonny, his Son and Nephew were fantastic. Courteous, answered all questions, great work and all with a smile and great attitude. Also, their bid came in way below a major competitor of theirs. Yes, I definitely highly recommend this family owned and run business! Mahalo guys! read more

1-24-23 sonny doesn't call you to inform you that he's running late. We had to chase after him by calling and texting him. Arrangements were made to start the repair job between 8-9 am. 9:15 came and went and we hadn't heard from him. We texted him and he said that his crew will come after lunch. Two workers did arrive at 1pm. The repair looks good so far but we were very upset that they left screws and headless nails on the ground6 in total. They saw that we had dogs and that act of negligence could have seriously injured our dogs paws, had they stepped on one of the nails or worse, swallowed one Lawrence needs to reign in Sonny and teach him how to proactively communicate with customers read more

No replay to request for estimate on gutter install for weeks now. Why be in buissness

Update after the catastrophic rains of December 5-6, 2021 -- We had over 8" of rain in one afternoon/evening and these gutters handled it and transported the water away from the house! Such a relief. Mahalo again for your great work. read more

A well deserved review!!! Did my due diligence and gotten different quotes from other ridiculous high priced companies but thus far this company offered the best price for my budget. They were quick, efficient and reliable is what we really look for! And, most importantly we really love our new gutters! Had a bit of an "emergency" gutter repair. Attempted for 4 WEEKS to get other rain gutter companies to respond to numerous requests for appointments/quotes. I can say now from experience that good rain cutter companies are hard to find. Sonny from Adonai's was extremely responsive. He was able to come out to assess the damage and get me a quote in 2 days. The repair was scheduled the week after. The repairman actually showed up (which in my experience I've noticed other rain gutter companies struggle to do) and followed up by phone with me after the repair was done. I appreciate Sonny's responsiveness and ability to get my repair done quickly. THANKS and keep up the good work! read more

I agree 100% with those who gave Adanai's a 5 star rating. Sonny and his crew provided excellent service. He did some repairs (rotting wood) without any additional charge. Other companies were quoting up to $500 for the same repairs. Sonny also said that he could provide references for a painting company. I will take him up on it when I'm ready. read more

The folks at Adonai's Rain Gutter Systems were very professional throughout the process. I first contacted Sonny about a year ago and he came out for an estimate. He prepared a detailed proposal, but I had to postpone the installation due to scheduling issues on my end. I contacted him again this year, and although prices had gone up in the iterim, he was able to give the same price quoted on the initial visit. Due to unique Covid vulnerability, I requested that he and his crew wear masks thoughout the installation. This had to be difficult, but they complied with the request, which put us all at ease. They arrived at the appointed time and quickly communicated with neighbors to make sure their vehicles did not block the shared road. They completed the job in half the time allotted and cleaned up beautifully! They addressed concerns quickly and efficiently and I was extremely happy with the result! read more

Cyndy's Bottom Line: Excellent rain gutter installation. I read the Yelp reviews and decided to go with Adonai's Rain Gutter Systems. I was very impressed with the quick response. Sonny was very professional and provided a reasonable estimate. They arrived on time and worked efficiently to finish the installation in a day. My home looks new with the updated gutters. Mahalo for a job well done! Highly recommend. read more

OK, so many 5 star ratings already, but I felt like I should ditto all as I really am pleased with the owner (Sonny) and the great work and follow up after installing new copper gutters on my house. Work was perfect, but had an issue with a modification of sunshade that required a downspout relocation to fit. Sonny and crew came back in no time at all and relocated the downspout at minimal cost. These guys are defined by quality, reliability, and standing behind their customers. Bravo! read more

This company received a one start because there were no other stars below one. We had a simple job of replacing gutters on only one part of our home. It took a few months 2-3 months to solidify a contract and to my understanding, it's because we're located about an hour away from this businesses base location. I do admit it's a bit of a travel to receive any type of services. The disheartening part of working with this company is that we received a quote of 600$ for a simple replacement of 55ft of gutters prior to installation. Then on the day they come to install, the head guy tells us that the price changed to $800. He said that the contract called for 800$. We have the proposal for $600. Be then says, $800 is the price. We don't have to do the job. We felt duped. We needed the gutters fixed before the rainy season started. I wouldn't recommend this company for these types of shady practices nor am I calling these guys in the future. read more

Sonny called yesterday to say he could come out today to measure for a gutter estimate. He couldn't give a precise time or even an approximate time (hmmm, okay), so we waited at home all day. Finally, at 3:15 PM I called his cell phone only to have him tell me that his job in town was cancelled so that's why he didn't come to measure.....What!!!! I told him that was extremely inconsiderate and that all it would have taken was a phone call this morning to tell me he would not be able to make it so we wouldn't have been sitting around waiting for him. If a business owner is so inconsiderate and unreliable then I don't trust them to do my gutters. read more

Called them because of their yelp reviews and was not disappointed. Got there quick to give us an estimate that was lower than my "recommended" company. Installation day came quickly, they were on time, finished fast with no issues and cleaned up nicely. Appreciate them adjusting the downspout plan on install date. Couldn't be happier. read more

After talking with Sonny the owner I decided to go with them, best rate and professional team of workers.

Super responsive once I contacted them for a quote. Sonny and his staff were very professional and provided quality work and customer service. We only thought about the functionality the gutters would provide while living in rainy Kaneohe but we didn't realize the facelift it would give our house!! Honest work and very fairly priced. Nice family run company that isn't trying to take advantage of other families. When I asked friends and family for different referrals so that I can price quote, surprisingly all 3 gave me Adonai's info so it was an easy decision! They are well known on Oahu and especially the Windward side. read more

I called them and they answered the call! I got a voicemail on one of the others i called and the 3rd the voicemail was full. They gave me a good price and showed up for the installation when they said they would be there and completed a 1/2 day ahead of schedule. They recommended a larger gutter i think it was 6", cost a little more but when comparing to my neighbors it hides more of the fascia and looks great. Well worth the money. Highly recommend these guys! read more

Had to call Sonny again since my father backed up into one of our rain gutters and narrowed the channel. We also had a small defect in one of the gutters on the side that was leaking. Sonny was prompt in replying and getting back to us regarding availability. Professional, courteous and great response, we always know we can count on Sonny and his team. They arrived early, did an exceptional job on the repairs, were extremely professional and wonderful to work with. This company is nothing short of amazing and we have always referred all our friends to Adonai's for any rain gutter issues. Especially with Hawaii's spontaneous bursts of downpour, it's detrimental we have the right company taking care of our gutter needs. We cannot speak highly enough about the personable service Sonny provides and will continue to support local companies like these on our island. Thank you Sonny and his awesome team!!!! read more

Due to the heavy rains this past weekend, our patio was almost flooded. I called Sonny on Saturday and he came out on Monday to give us an estimate to have gutters installed. He also offered to come back when our yard is done to redo the downspout. Thank you Adonai's! read more
