He said one of your renters broke the Roku remote. Unfortunately, we had no time to order a newcone. He left. purchased a new TV set nearby with my approval and installed it all within 2 hours! He also checked the operation of the other two flat screens we had in other areas of the home. Marvin is also a wiz with the computer software downloads and applications. I set the passwords on the TV a year ago and couldn't remember them. He said, pull out your laptop, and he guided me through several applications where I could find the password I set. He then reinstalled our Roku Account, Spectrum account, Netflix Premium and PBS with all our passwords. He checked the other two TV sets to make sure everything was still operational after the set up. Lastly, Marvin put the 1 year old TV set that was still working in the new TV box and placed it under the bed so we can have it for future use. He suggested it would be good to have a couple of remotes as backups because he sees this all the time. It will break in the remotes by depressing the button too hard and too long and it freezes the TV set and it breaks the remote. Without question I recommend Audio Video Helpers.

Had a 10 camera system installed. Within a couple of weeks, started getting static on a couple of…read morethe more distant cameras. After investigating, found out that the push on connectors on the back of my DVR were loose so I ordered some crimp on connectors from Amazon along with the crimping tool. Replaced about half of the connectors and the system seemed fine. A month or so later, camera fuzziness and wiggle began returning so I called to have American Wireless replace all of the cheap push on connectors with crimp style. It's been a year since install and I am less than impressed. The 2 cameras at my driveways are flaking out again. I contacted Bart at American Wireless to swap out a camera to a PTZ style, add an additional camera, upgrade the existing cameras to a better quality since the original "hi-def" cameras that were installed cannot make out a license plate leaving my driveway and once again fix the "ground issue" as he called it when he came to give me an estimate on the additional work. It took a week to get an estimate because he was on vacation and almost 3 weeks after that without a response. I sent 3 emails asking for a response with the final simply saying not to worry about performing the job, I'll find someone who wants to work. Miraculously, 10 minutes later, I received his response that said "Sorry Kevin, I was on vacation, back today with back to back appointments all morning. If you have it taken care of, great. If you would like a response, let me know." I paid well over $4000 for this system and was about to spend another $2000 on upgrades. I also recommended them to my in-laws who had a system installed and just like me, are also having issues with their cameras. In my opinion, this company is far from the best out there. The workmanship was shoddy from the beginning with inferior parts (push on connectors vs. crimp) the installation looked like a rats nest in closet it was installed in with extension cords running out of it, the camera placement was terrible with one camera being placed right above the back door entrance making it impossible to see anything other than the top of someone's head... good luck identifying a burglar that way, the customer service response is a joke and one of the owner's seems to be on vacation more than at work. Basically, I have a system that performs like what you would expect from one of the off the shelf kits you can buy at COSTCO for a couple hundred bucks and install yourself. Definitely not what you would expect from a company who specializes in this sort of thing and charges a premium.

Daniel came in my home and knew what was wrong within just a few minutes. He cleaned some pipe out and my air was on again! He cleaned up, went over a few things I should look for in the future and emailed me the receipt from his tablet. Very professional. By the time they got here, the water had stopped, so I told them I'd reach back out if it started again. Well, sure enough, Saturday rolls around and the leak starts up again. I called them back and within 30 minutes, Alex (one of the owners--on his day off) and Taylor were both at my door. They were kind, professional, and genuinely invested in helping me get to the bottom of it. After a deep dive into the system, they figured it out: the drain pipe had been installed with a 90-degree elbow instead of two 45s, creating too much pressure. Over time, it wore down and finally cracked, right as our AC was working overtime in the summer heat. Once it started condensing, water had nowhere to go but down... into our pantry. Alex and Taylor went above and beyond to fix the issue and explain everything in a way that made total sense. I couldn't have asked for better service. Truly top-tier experience. Highly recommend. During the recent cold weather, we tried to turn on the heat and there was NONE. The old company came out, said we needed another $2000 + worth of work to be done and this was in addition to having already spending several thousand of dollars to repair less than a year ago.
