Customer service was ok. They guy who helped me was friendly and polite. However they were not able to help me at all. I dropped my computer off Friday, because my keyboard and touch screen was not working consistently. The keyboard and touch screen work consistently in safe mode (which I told him). I did not get a call until the next Friday which was fine since the service said 1 to 4 days. The call was distorted and I could hardly understand it but I was able to recognize the number. However when I called back (during store hours) I got transferred down to the Issaquah breach who were polite but unable to help me. By Monday I was able to talk to the guy and he said he was unable to boot it. And he left it trying to boot for 24 hours. He had let the battery die so I decided to take it home, when I got home I plugged it in and the computer booted right away. I was still unable to use the keyboard or touch screen and still got "driver power state failure" BSOD. I am guessing he only tried to do it once. He also claimed he could not use the power button to turn it off. He charges me the quick fix fee instead of the full price diagnostic but still it came out to 33 dollars. Very disappointed. 33 dollars for him to literally press the power button once and call me. Took it back in to show him that it can boot. When I demonstrated it booting he seem skeptical and ask what I had done. Which I told him was press the power button. He said he would try again so I left it with him. Another week went by and he said he was unable to fix it, and it might be a hardware problem and if I wanted him to open it up I would have to pay a diagnostic fee. Or he could try a fresh install where he backs up all the data and reinstalls windows. Which I told him at the start I already did. Never in all my talks did he mention trying to enter safe mode or checking diagnostic logs I showed him that indicated the cause of the BSOD as dxgkml.sys and ntoskrnl.exe, he did not even seem to know what they were. Nor did he mention looking to the BIOS which I pointed out had a different EC version than BIOS version. EC version either showed the previous BIOS, nothing, or dollar signs. All of these things I considered computer diagnostic 101.(Checking logs, Checking BIOS, Booting into safemode) The fact that he never even got to them astounds me. When I went to Best Buy they sat down and worked with me but still were unable to figure out what was wrong. They honestly stated that they probably would be unable to help. Never thought I would say this but Best Buy helped me more for free. TL;DR Customer service was friendly and nice, however they were unable to properly diagnose or address my problem. I would not recommend them for more than a basic repair job or if you know nothing about computers. Went to professional expecting professional expertise instead I got basic expertees if that. read more

We had a very bad experience with PC FIX. We called in because our macbook air got water on it and wasn't turning on. They said "bring it by and we'll take a look". So we did and dropped it off on a Friday. The next Monday they called and said its the mother board and it'll be around $499 to fix or $299 to try to get data off. I said we'd think about it and I was going to come get it. They then said oh, well it'll be a $50 fee for looking at it. The fee was never disclosed, not once. The owner got on the phone and didn't say anything other than he's been doing this for 20 years and he's sticking with his ways. He has posters with fees I could have looked at. They are deceiving people and not disclosing information they should. Don't trust these guys....seems pretty slimy to me. read more

I had killed 2 of my Iphone 5's (yes you may call me the destroyer of phones) and was devastated that I no longer had any contact to the world and was NOT going to go buy a third one. Last resort was to take them to PC Fix. One had the shattered screen and the 2nd was no longer functional due to water damage. Walking in, everyone was friendly (the front desk woman is super hot btw!) and diagnosed both phone issues quickly. The water damage phone was not worth fixing, but they fixed the screen on the second phone by the time I ate lunch... AMAZING. Also since the water damage one had a newer battery, he switched those out so I would have a the new screen phone, with the better battery!! What a great company- would highly recommend! read more

I took my computer for repair. I did not accept the fee to proceed or the $500 estimate to fix it so I picked up my laptop. The owner tried to charge $50 to look at the machine even though we asked to be called before doing any work and they said they would look at the machine for free. After picking the computer up I immediately took it to Apple who took a quick look, for free, and told me that the computer insides were completely taken apart and not plugged in. The parts were in the wrong place and nothing was connected. I received a written statement from Apple saying they were denying service because of "unauthorized tampering". I now have a completely taken apart computer in worse condition than when I dropped it off. read more

My computer cord was not getting power to my computer. It could not have come on a worse time...I needed my computer fixed quickly! I knew if I went to one of the "big box" stores it would be "in the shop" for a month. I needed something faster. I looked for an independent computer fix it shop, but couldn't understand their services by the name of the company! Finally I found PC Fix. That was what I needed! I called them, they said they could definitely fix it and I brought it in on Wed. They had it back in my hands the next week! I can't tell you how happy I was to find PC Fix. I have a very old computer that was hand built over fifteen years ago. Very slow! I looked at new computers but couldn't find anything that compared to what I had; several hard drives and four DVD drives. So I took it to PC Fix and met David. I immediately felt I was in good hands. I asked him to upgrade my computer and make it fast. He installed a new motherboard, CPU and memory and when I got it back it was "better than new!" I was so happy to find this computer repair shop in Issaquah. Close to home and very convenient. I called and they told me to bring in my computer that day. My computer had stopped booting. I tried some fixes I am familiar with but nothing helped. They were able to find the problem and fix it at reasonable cost. I have my computer back and it is working great. Dmitri did a great job. They were able to retrieve all my data from my hard drive so I could put it on my new computer. They help me by showing me how I could put the data on my new computer. Two thumbs up for PC Fix in Issaquah. I had computer issues and was really worried that I might lose my data. I took it there yesterday, and at first they told me it could take days to weeks depending on what's wrong and could cost a lot, but I got a call after 2 hours that it was fixed with minimal cost. PC Fix repaired in two days my eight year old Apple desktop that had laid dormant for a year. I was told by Apple they would not/do not repair anything over five years old. Great place to get laptop issues addressed. The guy was nice enough to take a look at my laptop and try to adjust the buttons so that a full replacement of parts was not needed. He checked and confirmed that the laptop was good to go and useable before handing it back to me. These guys were awesome! I struggled with my Mac for so long and I couldn't take it anymore. I have no technological knowledge either. I brought it in and they diagnosed it in a few days and told me what to do. They spent a LONG time filtering files off and transferring files over for a more then fair price. I am very satisfied with their service. Before coming to PCFix I called the licensed Canon provider, stayed on the phone for more than an hour, and they could not detect the problem. It took 5 minutes for the PCFix staff to figure it out, and I even was not charged. I'll definitely go there again if I have any problem with my computer. read more

It was a bumpy ride and took longer than I would have liked. But they worked hard for me and got the problem fixed. The hard drive was replaced but they were able to save my files and showed me how to get Office suite back on my computer. They took time to answer questions and to train me a little too!
