Absolutely not a space for LGBTQIA+ people. Please do not go there if you're part of a marginalized community. Got kicked out for being in the "wrong" bathroom as a BIOLOGICAL female in the women's restroom. Had trans sisters with me who present fully feminine and transitioned get told they were in the wrong bathroom as well..the men's restroom is NOT an option for them OR ME(would've got kicked out either way cause we would've been women in the men's restroom). Save yourself the trouble and expensive cover and go somewhere better. If I ever have the displeasure of being in there again I'm going to pee on the floor since the bathrooms clearly aren't an option :)

A dance place that has country music but then towards the end of the night turns into a dance club. Drinks are pricey but makes sense cause it's a chain. They have a mechanical bull which is fun! Great for a night out if you want to dance or try line dancing in the beginning of the night. They also have lots of security walking around making you feel super safe. They also have some beer pong tables. A vibe if you like a good night out!

Love this place the people are friendly and the best place to be on the weekends to dance and hangout !!

If you're looking for a chill night in downtown to grab a beer, this is definitely the place. PBR is located right in waterside district. I came around 10pm on a Friday night and was thankfully able to find parking on the street right across from the restaurant (free). Upon walking up, you can see the outdoor patio. Not sure if there is also an inside entrance, but we went to the outdoor one and there was only 1 or 2 people in line. They checked our IDs and gave us stamps on our hands. I must say, there is so much space!! They have many large areas with tables and seating to include at least 2 bars. It was a blessing to go to the bar and not have to elbow people out the way. Though, my tequila sunrise drink wasn't good at all but also it was only $6.75 so I still drank it of course. With friends, we sat on the patio by the fire pit they have. Kept us so warm but I will say it got a little too hot for comfort some times. Maybe because of the wind? Smoking in allowed outside. The music in the building wasn't extremely loud but could be heard throughout. Definitely country music with some random mixes in between. During one song they have the employees up on stage putting on a little show. Other employees are also around servicing and getting in a couple dance moves. Last but not least, the bull! All you need is your ID to sign the waiver. The employees are super awesome and yes...I absolutely rode the bull and was a champ! This is a nice place where you want to go out, but not do too much. Good place to just chill.

Good energy here on Memorial Day weekend. We experienced a bartender ignore us 5 minutes as we're standing at the bar. We went to another section of the bar and a sweet girl was very welcoming and made our drinks! All in all, it's great energy here! They play mostly country but venture out into other genres too.

Wether you're into country or not, PBR will have you having a great time !!!! They play a mixture of different kinds of music for everyone's liking and if your up for learning some of the line dancing, the girls are ready to assist you in becoming pretty good at it !!! First I have to commend them for hiring an experienced, fun, and happy staff such as Bea, Jazmine, Shannon, Erica, Jazmine, Aaron, Jamie and a few more !!! Great job!!!! The bull riding is unlimited and all you gotta do is put your name on the list. So take a ride !!!! They will motivate you to ride if your hesitant ??? (SHOTS) There is enough room for dancing and seating as it's both indoors and outdoors with two bars available and one bar serving both indoors and outdoors. Also there is no food served here at PBR, but only DRINKS!!!

Price point was about $16 for a burger and fries without a drink. We ordered the regular cheeseburger, the Cowboy (bacon, BBQ sauce, and American cheese), the Cobra Kai (cream cheese, pickled jalapeños, and jalapeño jelly), and the Classic Jack (caramelized onions, JB sauce, and dill pickles). Everything tasted solid and came out hot. The restaurant itself is very small and does not seem ideal for larger groups. Despite this, I loved the ambiance, it has a dive bar vibe with lots of notes on dollar bills on the walls that were fun to read. I will be coming back again when in the area! A special shoutout to the waitress with the bridge piercing. She was friendly, accommodating, and quick with service, which really stood out.

We ordered a Diners burger, Virginia burger, and house wings. The Burgers were borderline inedible due to the huge amount of salt. If i had been dining in I would have sent it back. I would not feed that much salted meat to my dog. The burgers dampness also had literally demolished the lower bun and iceberg lettuce. So i had to disgard those sodding blobs. The Virginian burger also salty, and the crab cake, small and underwhelming. The Chicken wings tasteless and dry. On too of this i had no choice but to pay a 10% tip for "take out prepare ". I selected The Veil as the spot for my UYE and enjoyed an evening of talking shop with the great J David H. while we drank those great beers. The Veil is a comfortable spot in the Railroad District and we were sitting in their dining area on the ground floor. Big tables and plenty of room this afternoon. Which we needed because that burger and fries needed elbow room to enjoy. I'd only suggest a pump-based ketchup dispenser as the packet thing is tedious. They opened here in 2019 - well after I was done with my projects in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake - transforming this three-story space into a family-friendly taproom and restaurant. The full kitchen specializes in indulgent smashburgers and Neapolitan-style pizzas that pair perfectly with the brewery's bold stouts, hazy IPAs, and seasonal sours. I only experienced the downstairs on my visit with Yelp friend Bruce K. The Happy Hour pricing was a draw as well as stellar reviews. Parking in their own smallish lot on a weekday was no problem. They also have free off street parking too! No debris in sight on my walk up. The signage is the building itself which is darn cool. They also offer outdoor seating. I started off with a Blend which is a Pale and Pilsner if I recall and it was tasty. The counter service was excellent. You can cash tip or card. Customers can also leave a tab open. The seating is wood bench type that comfortably seats six. The aesthetics of the first floor is high ceilings, concrete floors and walls. The kitchen has a garage door over the front. The space was previously a restaurant, but before may have been a factory, or warehouse. Only negative was music was a bit elevated for talking. Prior to Happy Hour concluding I ordered a $6 on special smash burger that comes with fries. No other dudes are available. The regular price is $12, so this is a deal friends. In about 20 minutes burgers and fries were delivered to the table. The look was downright amazing, so pretty much knew this bad boy was gonna be a hitter. The burger comes with double patty, cheese, Dukes mayo, lettuce a pickle. If something else I'm sorry I forgot. The first bite was phenomenal! Fresh bread, perfectly cooked 80/20 beef which was not greasy. The construction was a masterpiece. The thin fries were cooked crispy and seasoned well, yum! Honestly I could eat that burger everyday. The whole experience was exceptional and worthy of a full 5. Totally recommend checking The Veil Brewing out.
