Yo brah, I watch the buckeyes up in here, that is really all that matters. The foods aight, beer is awesome American selection of all sorts of budweisers, and some random Mexican cerveza stuff. Patrons are hilariously incoherent which is always fun. I love the staff, except for that Michigan loving server... Only because she from Michigan though, other than that she aight, now I gotta pass out I drank too Much and had turkey samwich dawg

The best Steeler bar and other fans in VB. Top of the line home style specials and the best Lumpia on the East Coast.

Great atmosphere. Kinda nice for what I consider a dive bar. The stories and pictures on the walls are worth the trip.

Bar was pretty good. Full of locals. Bacon cheeseburger and fries was under $6. Also has 2 or 3 pool tables. I will be going back.

A sad place for crusty, dart-playing turd-people…read more I enjoyed a cheap drink that could have been enjoyed anywhere else for more money. That's where the positives end. I was here for 45 minutes. I drank, left, got in the car, and the damn place followed me home. And in every pore, did it follow me home. I scoured what had to be the top two layers of skin from my body just to get the smell of crusty turd-people off of me. I wouldn't dare sit on my furniture wearing the clothes I had on - I used my kids' robot-arm- toy to get them into the washer. Don't even get me started on what color things were when I blew my nose. They throw spikey things into targets for fun. I would have had a better experience drinking outside in an alley next to two vagrant train-hoppers having sex. God knows it would have smelled better. Abandon all hope, ye who enter this cursed place, lest you become a turd-person by mere absorption of the foul ichors wafting through this hellscape. Woe to he that taketh his spawn next door to Happy Daycare. Don't get any on you. You have been warned. This place is not for the living.

Our server was attentive and quick to help us find recommendations. We ordered their beer battered fish and chips that came out fresh and crispy! That's the best combo. The other entree we ordered was the black and bleu burger (I'm a huge bleu cheese lover) and the crumbles added the perfect contrast with the savory patty. Also, those sweet potato fries are to die for and I couldn't stop eating them! We went on Friday when they had live music, so it created a nice cozy feel for really anyone that wants an enjoyable night out with some good eats!

This was easily a zero-star experience and a very disappointing way to celebrate a birthday…read more We made a reservation in advance for a party of seven to celebrate my father's birthday, knowing it would likely be busy and wanting to plan accordingly. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations from the start. Our reservation was at 5:45 PM, and after nearly two hours, we left at 7:30 PM without ever receiving our entrees, and some of our drinks never arrived either. What made matters more frustrating was the lack of communication. Our server came back 3 times to tell us they were out of ingredients for drinks we had ordered, but never offered alternatives or clarified what was available, leaving us stuck and repeatedly restarting the process. We were never checked on and he only came by to tell us our food wasn't ready or they couldn't make what we ordered. To make matters worse, several tables seated around us, many with larger parties were fully served, finished their meals, and left while we were still waiting. It was incredibly discouraging and made us feel completely overlooked. Overall, this experience was extremely frustrating, poorly managed, and not at all what we expected. We will not be returning.

I decided to visit after walking up an appetite at First Landing State Park…read more I popped in & was told to sit wherever. I found a booth & looked over the menu. Ladies if you look good he might let you slide on free items (I've seen it myself) but fellas he's gonna hassle you even for sour cream if you don't tip him enough to his satisfaction and then complain to your face about it if you're a regular. To those that care: The specific incident that caused my review was I had went in on a tuesday for their "taco Tuesday" special. Now because I work by the oceanfront I frequent this place. I've been told they aren't supposed to let you walk out with to go orders on their taco Tuesday, but if I pay for and eat some of my food who is this manager to say I can't leave with a to go box(which in most cases I have), but I digress. I tried to do it today and the manager comes to me with a nasty attitude over me not tipping enough for his standards telling me I can't take my food to go because he doesn't feel I tip enough and "what's a 5 dollar tip gonna do for him". Keep in mind I told him I'm not ordering food for just myself I sometimes take lunch orders from work which is never more than 5 to go small tacos. I've never been rude to this man I'm a quiet person so I usually order wait and leave. I work for a reputable company that sees a lot of tourism and I often recommended this spot to our guests but due to this situation I will be advising people to avoid this place if you're not just going to drink at the end of the night on The Weekend. In the specific event the owner of the restaurant was there and confirmed they weren't supposed to be doing to go tacos which I can respect. What I dont respect is the manager picking and choosing when he wants to follow the rules of the establishment for his own gain.

We were celebrating our 45th Wedding Anniversary, so my wife and I decided on the Hunt Room…read more Located in the basement of the stunning and historic old Cavalier Hotel. Valet parking at the Cavalier - which I like. I don't have to hassle with parking, a set price of $7.00 plus tip to the Valet. Just part of the ambiance of the hotel. The Hunt Room's atmosphere is you Dad's old hunt club vibe. Pictures of animals, stuffed birds and deer heads on the walls, Leather couch and chairs around a fireplace, and warm wood paneling and low lighting. Very comfortable. Our waitress was awesome in every respect. She asked the right questions, made great wine recommendations. Her timing was perfect, very quick and efficient, and very personable. She was wonderful. We started with sharing the four Reuben Egg Rolls with Russian dressing appetizer. Crispy flaky crust with delicious Reuben meat inside dipping into enjoyable Russian dressing. We ordered salads and our waitress asked small or large. Once she explained the difference, small Wedge for me and a small Pickled Beet Salad. Both were excellence. For comparison, the large salads are a meal unto themselves. My wife decided on the Wild Mushroom Risotto for her entrée. A very generous bowl of rice, wild mushrooms, and peas in a creamy garlic sauce. She loved it. My wife could only eat half of it; the rest came home in a doggy bag. I had the pan roasted venison loin. Two big medallions cooked medium rare, laying on a bed of creamy garlic mashed potatoes and peppercorn demi-glace with roasted Broccolini cooked just right, wilted with some crunch still left in them. We both really enjoyed our dishes and highly recommend both dishes! We finished with some nice hot decaf coffee and shared the creamy delicious Bourbon Apple cheesecake and the warm Upside-Down brown butter cake which is suppose to come with mango sorbet. But our waitress agreed to my request for vanilla ice cream instead. These desserts were fabulous. Thank you, Hunt Room for a great 45th Anniversary night out.

It was my first visit here and I was really looking forward to it because I heard such good things…read moreabout it. It's located in the basement of the historic Cavalier Hotel which is absolutely gorgeous. Valet parking and they charge you $7 and if you pay through the app, it's additional $1.25 service charge. Like they aren't charging you enough for the food, now you have to pay for parking too. Let's not forget the tip for the valet guy too (deserved). The atmosphere is like a man's cave. Dark and like the name, "hunt" decorated. When you enter there are overstuffed leather sofas in front of a fireplace. Tons of photos of animals as well as taxidermy animals. Everything relating to hunting. The place was rather loud with a few large parties. To the point that my guest and I couldn't even hear each other. Once they left, it was nice and quiet, unfortunately, we were about to leave as well. I was told it's best to make a reservation, so I did through open table but I don't think it was needed at the time of our off-peak visit (3.16.2026). Service was great. The waiter kept returning to see if we needed anything and how the food was. It was our first time trying the Oysters Rockefeller ($18 for 6) which is Half Shell Oysters stuffed with a creamy spinach and applewood smoked bacon which were good. At this time, I had nothing to compare them to, but 2 days later, I had them at The Atlantic on Pacific and those were SO MUCH BETTER! A lot cheaper too during happy hour. I had the Filet Mignon ($49) - Garlic and Herb whipped Potatoes, Roasted Broccolini, Tarnished Truth Steak Sauce and Sauteed Mushrooms (I'm allergic to Mushrooms so I had them on the side for my guest to enjoy them). Very good meal. The Tarnished Truth Steak Sauce is so yummy, I could drink it. Complimented the Filet Mignon and the potatoes so well. The broccolini was also delicious. For dessert I got the Smore's Brownie ($10). It was more like a chocolate cake with marshmallow, Caramel and Chocolate Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream. It was not worth the money or the calories. Pretty tasteless. You need walnuts in a Brownie or it's just chocolate cake. I had gotten a Reuben sandwich ($18) to go and it was very fatty like bacon. Unfortunately, it was a waste of money because more than half of it went in the garbage due to it being so fatty. I felt the place was rather pricey and if you are just dining there, I do feel the valet parking should be free or reimbursed by the restaurant (i.e. take the charge off the bill). I think you can find some more reasonable places and better food nearby.
