I've always been the kind of girlie to thrift shop because I'm not a fan of what the clothing industry has done to our planet. This is why we went to FE-Kapolei in the first place: for someone to help us figure out how to use this thing. Read my review for the Kapolei location to know what happens next. Anyways, since that first visit, I visited FE a bunch of times because of their baby clothes. One reason I'm also not a FE person is the prints are too much for me. Put it this way, the only print I would kind of consider wearing is the simple fish print in black, no other colors! And then next thing you know, there's also a baby section as well for my son! Having a baby changes you, I'll still thrift for my clothes, but I wouldn't mind getting my son the newest clothes from a locally owned, woman ran business. Also, I LOVE being able to text the store and reserve items, no driving all the way to find out it's not there! And the quality of the clothes is definitely there. Decided to buy a baby onesie for our family photos and another baby onesie for our friends who are pregnant. I know baby clothes don't last long, but I just couldn't help myself! Overall, I may only like a couple things from FE, but the fact that it's supporting local is a big plus for me! Also, the quality of the clothing is so great considering the price.

From there, I found another alteration business on Pensacola Street, but the prices that the lady changes to alter a pair of pants slowly crept up to $14.00. Yikes! You can find them just a block down from Manoa Marketplace right across from Morning Glass they do have five dedicated parking stall for convenience and without a storefront sign don't pass right by this building. This vibrant and spacious layout makes it so easy to browse as it's all nice and organized as you walk in you'll see the various merchandise from coolers, plates and some stationary items along with some fun and beautiful accessories the selection is quite impressive. Lots of clothing to choose from on easy to see racks including some shirts and fun casual wear and baby eel in the back and as I grabbed a few items gift receipt is also given here which makes it great and if you have American Savings with minimum required purchase you make does earn you as discount along with a stamp card for additional savings. The staff is very warm with a lovely greet as you enter all the way to checking out though parking can be the biggest challenge this location does have a wonderful fighting spot. Thank you!
