Overall very impressed with the team there. After clearing up a little misunderstanding about grooming services that morning for our pup (I think the misunderstanding lay heavily on my end given my confusion around booking services on the website), they immediately went into action to ensure that the full grooming service could happen that morning. Delanie immediately called another employee to see if they could come in early to help cover. Our 10 month old doodle puppy was a mess! It has been so hard to book regular grooming appt in Seattle and then I came across Paws VIP in Tukwila and he got In the next day. Delanie took a great deal of time to explain the process, how she would need to approach the matting issues and take care of our tangly doodle boy. He was so much work with lots of matting issues under his ears and chest. With a lot of patience and experience on their part, in the end, we got back a happy and adorable puppy with the cleanest ears (inside and out) we have ever seen. Pretty impressive! Although Delanie basically had to take most of the hair off his ears, he looks cute and is way more comfortable. Our fault for not noticing how bad it got. It became too hard for us to comb out. The amount of inner ear hair Delanie was able to clean out (using some sort of powder to keep the process comfortable for him), out. Our vet is going to be so pleased, our pup way more comfortable and it will be easier for us to maintain. Our vet has been asking about for months since it's a real concern for doodles. They had the patience of a saints. Everything seemed very transparent, cameras around the property. They were more than happy to show me the cameras in the grooming room as well as the play arenas. Do not take your dog to this place. First of all, they lie about the pricing. They would quote $40.00 and it turns out to be $130.00 Secondly, they do not know anything about dog hair cuts and people that work there are highly unprofessional. They shaved our dog to the SKIN!!!! I guess they were trying to cover for their inability to do a decent hair cut and decided to just shave it all. The only excuse that they had was that dog needed to be cut more often. We do these cuts regularly, last one was done less then 2 month ago. Third, the rudeness. When I called and complained about the shave and explained that golden doodles are not suppose to be shaved this close to the skin, I was told they services were rendered. Services were rendered? I really hope that you'll have to close down because of the quality of the services rendered!!!! Lastly, after talking to them and expressing my anger I was told that the manager will call me back. It's been several days and no call back was received. You if want your dog to look naked and ugly then this should be your number one choice! read more

I searched yelp looking for a groomers and this company responded first and told me they were accepting new clients and wanted me to fill out a profile on their website. After filling out a profile the first available appointment I was able to make was June 20 @9am. We arrived early only to be told our appointment was cancelled and they claimed to have called us. This company did not call us, we drove a long ways to get there. They failed to call us or send an email Of our cancellation which shows me their customers times are not valuable to them. Its taken me a while to write this, the first couple of times I brought my dog here everything went fine the last time I brought him here I noticed he was more exhausted than usual. Hes usually tired after I pick him up so I let him rest. When I wiped his paw i noticed his paw pad was raw and bleeding!!! Later that night he got very sick and began throwing up and had blood and runny stool. I rushed him to the vet hospital and he had a fever and was very dehydrated! I contact paws vip to ask what was going on and just constantly got back "were sorry hes not feeling well" no explanation as to what happened. DO NOT BOARD PETS HERE!!! First, they didn't allow my dog to have any blankets or toys to help him feel comfortable. I asked them multiple times if they could seek out a vet when he was vomiting and they ignored my request. When I finally found someone else to take care of him, they just handed him to them without asking their names or any ID. He could have been given to a stranger. I brought my dog here for a groom recently. The groomer we had was very friendly and my dog didn't seem upset when I picked her up which makes me feel like she was treated well. I very much appreciate that! The cost of the services are extremely expensive though. I will not come back here for grooming again. This place cost me about $40 more than I pay at other shops. I had wanted to try this place out though because of the good reviews. If you can afford it, it's not a bad place but I can't afford $130 for a simple haircut. Brought my dog for his grooming. When we picked him up, we noticed that both his front paws are bleeding. I asked why and the rude front desk staff said that he bit the groomer. Well, is it because his nails were clipped too short? Our dog gets groomed every 6-8 weeks and is used to the groomers. Being new to the area and looking for a new place to send our dog for grooming, this is going to be our first and last time in this place. My dog did not deserve to be treated like that. read more

I was able to make a last minute appointment this morning, for today (literally a few hours later) and booking went smoothly. You make an account and can request services online, which will then be confirmed or denied. It was very easy to access! The service here was great, my pup loved everyone he came into contact with that I was aware of, and he came back smelling fresh, with nicely trimmed nails, and as handsome as ever! Although he wasn't too pleased with me for making him take a bath.. he quickly got over it after his nap at home. The people here I talked with were great and very helpful. They also offer doggie daycare for a very reasonable price here. If I were closer to this location, I'd definitely consider making this my primary doggie daycare. Also, yelp automatically sent a few groomers messages when I was looking for a groomer on their website, and PAWS VIP got back to me very quickly and were happy to help. Updated review: due to the gaslighting response I got from the business owner I took a star away. It was stated that they do not have voicemail. How was I able to leave one? And how was I able to leave one in the past AND get a response back? And regarding my dogs nails, how would all 10 nails be broken by themselves. And let's say they are right, you did not notice my dogs nails bleeding? AND let's say this was all a misunderstanding, the fact that they did not call me back after the review after they said "we didn't get a miss call from you" and clear things up. Instead they came on here to save face for future customers instead of the one they currently have. I am fuming! They have an online booking service option. The time before this one I wasn't able to book on line. I called and the man told me that he had no idea why the system wouldn't allow me to do such but he made my appointment for me over the phone. Personal matter arrived and I had to cancel the appointment. Fast forward to today! Made 2 appointments 2 weeks ago. I had received a text message that informed me that they needed to change the schedule of one of my dog's appointment because they were booked for the time slot. My niece called later that day to make an appointment for her dog and while in front of me, they offered her the time slot that I was booked on. How could that be if I had an appointment already with that groomer at the time? Sounds fishy? We'll keep reading it gets better! I wake up call to confirm due to my confusion regarding what time we were scheduled and low and behold, no appointments! I was informed that they canceled our appointments. No explanations as to why as well as no accommodations with future appointments. All I was given was "sorry, we're booked up for today." I got off the phone and decided this wasn't going to work for me. I called back. Letting the phone ring for a good while, Meagan answered again. I asked for the managers arrival time and information. She asked could she leave a message for him to call me. Why would I entrust you to leave a message when I couldn't make an appointment online, received text messages changing my existing appointments and then canceling my appointments all together?! It's obvious that they don't want my business. The response from the owner was just as I explained in my review. I did come late to 2 appointments which I apologized for the the person to the groomer. I called to cancel the other. Standing behind my rating. We just made our 3rd reservation for this place and love it! Our pup loves it there and the staff is great! Each time that we've gone, they have been friendly and really give the impression that they treat our animals as if they are their own. In fact, when we picked our pup up last time, she was as excited to the staff for pets as she was to come to my husband and me. Tried four other daycares and no other one cared for their dogs the way PawsVIP does. They have a huge daycare staff not just the minimum state requirements, meaning that my girl gets a lot of attention. She got kicked out of other daycares for getting attached to people and wanting attention. Also other daycares just put all the dogs together regardless of size or temperament. This place is huge and dogs get split up by size, age, temperament so that all packs get along. You can also pay for training privately or with the dogs there! They will pick up your dog from the airport, they will board your pup and take such good care of them, they do grooming as well. They let you purchase extra treats but also give lots of treats. One really big difference to this place is that they wipe and spray your dog down with a very lightly scented cleaner so that dog doesn't smell awful like they do coming home from other daycares. ALSO seven days a week 5 am to 9 pm. Other daycares open after I get to work it's ridiculous! And incredibly affordable on top of that. I've been going for 8 months and will continue bringing my sweet 85 lb puppy here for years to come. Also they post videos or photos non stop on Instagram!! read more
