I found AWC HVAC services on Yelp on an early Sunday morning and notified them of the issue. Within a few hours, I was met with Joe who immediately recognized the problem (dual run capacitor) along with a few maintenance issues. Being that my unit is old, other vendors in the past , have immediately tried to pressure me to replace the whole unit. Joe on the other hand acknowledged it was old but that it could be fixed. To replace the dual capacitor and give the unit a nice tune up it was only $525. He broke apart the unit and conducted much needed maintenance.
