Pat's Pizza is such a coastal Maine classic. It's your typical hometown pizza shop with all the local vibes, and honestly I think part of why I love it so much is because I've been coming here multiple times a year on vacation since I was a kid. I wish I could give it 5 stars, but realistically it's probably not quite that deserving food-wise. That being said, I still love the atmosphere and nostalgia of it. They also have really good gluten-free options, which my mom loves. read more

We got a margarita pizza and breadsticks to go, so I can't speak much to the service. I don't think I can judge this as a margarita pizza, because it's hardly margarita, more like a cheese pizza with half tomatoes intermingled throughout. The undercarriage was decent, not much of a flop jlop, but not entirely crispy either, kind of right in the middle. The flavor of the pizza was bland. The flavors were all muted and it was hard to pick up on anything besides the cheese. For a cheese pizza, it may have gotten a 6.5/10, but because it's a margarita, I have to judge it more harshly, I'd give it a 5/10. The breadsticks were so dense. Almost like they didn't let the bread dough proof at all after rolling them into sticks. Genuinely, freezer breadsticks would have probably been better. 3/10. read more

On my Phone says uuu deliver ?? I called and couldn't even understand person on phone why do t u offer delivery ??

Average pizza, we got one with olives and spinach and one with onion and bell pepper. There was hardly any spinach and the pizzas were a bit too saucy. We got takeout (pick up is in the drive through window which is sorta odd) so I'm not sure how the service and ambiance is within. We also wish there were more sizes available, there's only a personal size (9 inch) and a large (14 inch). read more

Great spot in Bar Harbor. Thin crust pizza that's made to order. Friendly service and lots of seating space. Great for families as well.

Fun place with a casual vibe. We had the jerk chicken pizza which was very good and the teriyaki wings which were good. Enjoyed it.

Pizza was tasty. The lobster pizza was very fun, but the cheese pizza was just mid. I recommend the double dough for a thicker crust. Service was very kind and welcoming. read more

Was in town last week and my son wanted pizza. We stumbled across Pats. The building itself is next to a gas station and laundry mat so I went in with low expectations. However upon entering we found a cute little place. Definitely not fancy but a sports bar feel. We had a great bartender/server. She was very attentive. Ordered a steak pizza and it was DELICIOUS! We typically take pizza home but my teenager finished the whole thing. It was definitely tasty and I was thankful we gave it a try. Would definitely return if we're in the area again. read more

Friendly, attentive staff. We ordered to go but were offered water while we waited. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. And the best part: they have those cupped pepperonis that I love. The pizza has a thinner crust (kind of similar to Little Caesar's, but with a better taste. They also have Jamaican food, which was an unexpected but nice surprise. read more

Needed a hearty calzone after hiking Precipice and this did not disappoint. All the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The Italian sub was average. No wait time for lunch and incredibly friendly staff. The outdoor seating could use some clean up and unfortunately smells like a laundromat but that can't be helped. We would eat here again read more

I picked up food at Pats twice this week while on vacation in Bar Harbor. Great experience both times! The food and service is really good. The people that operate and work there are friendly, hard working and so intent on making your experience a good one. I had a chicken parm sub one night and tonight the Bolognese. Both excellent. They really know how to do takeout. Packed very well providing plates and utensils and napkins. Tonight they said it would take 20 minutes and it was ready in 17 minutes. Awesome place, will come back again!! read more

Very enjoyable pizza. Then thin crust or the double crust were good. Ideally I would like to try the thin crust with pepperoni and the spicy sausage. The chef side salad was very good. 50/50 mix with fresh cut onions, green peppers and choice of dressing. read more

Awesome food !! wonderful staff. Quaint and convenient! It is a must try if you are visiting Bar Harbor.!!!

Paid 13 dollars for personal pan pizza that was worst then hunts pizza from a gas station but great bar tender

Honestly, the pizza is horrible. They Clearly buy already made dough that's previously frozen. The crust was soggy. The front of the house staff aka counter girls and bar girls are extremely rude and talk rudely about the customers in front of them to other staff thinking they are slick. read more

Amazing! Delicious! My Hawaiian pizza and my husband's Margarita pizza were so yummy and tasteful and the garlic rolls were stupendous, buttery and full of garlic and soft and moist! Do I go to a Chinese Restaurant and order a burger? No, but I did ordered the Curry Goat and rice with beans and the fried chicken at this Pizza place. The Jamaican food was delicious !!! The service was friendly and welcoming. The Curry Goat was well seasoned and the meat was very tender. The portions were big enough for two. I would definitely keep this place in mind when I am in the area. The ambiance was relaxed. read more

Great Pizza, some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. Differently a place we will return to.

I'm not a big fan of their pizza, but generally like their other food options at other locations. The Ellsworth Pat's has one of the best Ruben's I've ever had--marble rye, sauerkraut, thousand island with really tasty meat. This Pat's doesn't use Marble Rye, which is a real bummer. If you know, you know what I mean. read more

Would give zero stars if I could. We came here on a Saturday night due to the good reviews. Don't be fooled they are all made up. There were 3 tables seated and the rest of the restaurant was empty. We were under the impression that it would be a quick and easy dinner spot. This was far from the truth. I understand they have a lot of takeout orders but customers in house need to be prioritized first. We order 1 margarita pie and garlic bread to start. Time went on and no food came. We saw a family of 4 with 2 little children waiting to pay over 30 minutes for their meal, trying to get the wait staffs attention several times. We overhead they ended up tipping $0 on the meal because of how ridiculous the service was. Finally after 45 minutes our pizza came out and they forgot about the garlic bread so we had to ask for it. Mind you it was the simplest pizza on the menu. If you want pizza, go ANYWHERE else but here. read more

Amazing Jamaican specials! Stopped in for lunch somewhat randomly while doing laundry (east coast camping trip) and had the best fried chicken with red beans and rice that I have ever eaten. A homemade jerk BBQ sauce complemented the fried chicken (crispy battered outside with tender and juicy inside). This was paired with a generous scoop of freshly made red beans and rice cooked to soft perfection, balancing flavor and feel. A small, cold and crisp salsa provided a counterpoint to the sweet and tangy notes of the Jamaican flavors. Pair it with a Coke or a beer for an uncomplicated but perfect meal. read more

In town for Visit . Stopped by on a Thursday Ordered the meat pizza at his crust and it was delicious. The ingredients were flavorful and plentiful on the amount of toppings. The thin crust was perfect, not too thin crust just right!! The large had 8 perfectly size pieces, had half a pizza to take home as we were full. The lady serving was polite and the kitchen staff is on it As pizza came out in a perfect timing ! We will have be back !! read more

We just ordered a small cheese pizza for the two kids to share. It looked over cooked. I was glad we didn't order a large for the adults.

Pizza is thin crust (not NY style) and was very good. Cheese bread was folded over pizza crust with cheese in the middle and was excellent. Service was good. Ambiance was a bit odd, sort of sports bar, 80s music playing, wry casual. I'm guessing just a local vibe, but not bad. I would definitely return if I was back in the area. read more

We came in and got seated, we came for lobster pizza as some reviews mentioned, but we were disappointed not to see it on the Menu. So already we're at a bad start. We were waiting for 15 mins for the server to come... they never showed up. We walked out after that, because who wants to pay good money for an experience like that the whole time? Even on the walk out we saw zero servers. read more

This was great pizza. They use real mozzarella cheese and fresh veggies. We were so happy with it. The staff was awesome with skipping us in at the last minute and it was wonderful. We knocked down three smalls. Great place in Bar Harbor. read more

So as many other reviewers have said compared to NY pizza this just doesn't hold up. It's just ok, I've had better frozen pizza. It tastes kind of like when you use sauce from a jar and make an average pizza yourself at home. It is very cheesy which is nice, but the crust was thin and soggy. Overall it wasn't worth eating. We opted for this one over reel pizza because the pictures made it look better, but reviews were right. We ended up going to reel pizza after and it was much better. The staff is friendly, but I would go elsewhere. read more

Now I'm from NJ, so nothing is going to top what I can get at home, but this was not even close to decent pizza. It looked and tasted like domino's and their version of Margherita is some tomato slices added on top of a plain pie. another reviewer mentioned Chuck E. Cheese pizza...so true! Yuck. read more
