The pizza was one of the best I have ever had! My family of 5 and I split an extra large and it was perfect. Highly recommend!!!

It was our last day in Bar Harbor, literally leaving in a few hours. We saw Rosalie's Pizza and wanted to try it but only opens at 4:00. It was 3:30 so we shopped around again and then got in line 15 minutes early. We were second, everyone formed a line. We thought it must have a reputation if people are waiting for the doors to open What a good call. They have lots of choices besides pizza, salads, drinks and a fun,clean dinning place with a jute box. Not sure if it was really playing music but it was good music. A lot of Italian dishes they serve but we really wanted to try their pizza. We had a cheese pizza and a Caesar salad. Wow! Thin crust at its best. Very tasty and satisfying! Yup I see why people wait in line for doors to open . It's a must when visiting Bar Harbor. The first day we got here my daughter saw it and wanted to go. I said let's try a different place instead of pizza. So glad we came on our last day. It was one of the best pizza I've had and will remember! After watching the sunset from Cadillac mountain, I called in a pick-up order on our way down the mountain and back to Bar Harbor which ended up being ready in about 20 minutes, so not long after we got there and parked. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and two fountain sodas. I had spinach and sausage calzone I asked if they can add mozzarella and ricotta was told mozz is already added and that the calzones are pre made and could not add ricotta - no mozzarella in the calzone but the crust was good! My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs (2 meatballs) very skimpy on the marinara sauce and the sauce was basic. We've had two full days of exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor and in need of a late night snack both days. We ordered the small combination pizza last night and it was so good we ordered it again tonight. The pick up time provided is exact. The pizza is hot, fresh, and fulfilling. We arrived early tonight to pick up our pizza and it was impressive watching the efficiency of the crew. The guys took their time stretching each dough to perfection ~ even though the placed was packed and there might be a tendency to rush, especially take-out orders, ~ I watched the guys provide attention to each and every pizza for the 30 minutes we waited. Haven't had pizza in foreveerrrrrrrr (currently in a cut for the gym) but had to break it while on a my trip out here and I am so glad I did ! The pizza here was amazing ! When we first visited Bar Harbor all we could smell was Rosalie's! It's only open for dinner and there is always a line so if you want to get in early time it right! The pizza is DELICIOUS! We ordered the cheese and the veggie and both were amazing! The veggie was perfect, olives, onions, mushrooms and green peppers! The crust and sauce were so flavorful and perfectly baked. Cute pizza place. We arrived kind of late in the evening and there's not much that stays open after 9pm in Bar Harbor. A quick search for something still open led us to Rosalie's, open til 10pm. Called to order, and 25 minutes later, dinner! Pepperoni pizza for the kids - pretty ok. The crust wasn't super soft and it wasn't crispy, but kind of in-between. Veggie Calzone - pretty good. Would've liked more cheese and the sauce to dip was bland. Antipasto salad - just meh. The meats and cheeses were cut into half moon shapes on a bed of too much spring mix. Definitely needed more than one dressing packet, but sadly I was only given one. No homemade dressings here. Overall, not awful, but not memorable either. The locals all told me that this place was the best pizza so I was shocked when it wasn't good. The service was fast and the prices were good but it was just basic pizza and nothing I'd ever go back to. We had calzones and the insides weren't melted and still somewhat cold. We walked in on a Sunday night and ordered for take out. They quoted us 30 minutes for a medium cheese. We came back in 30 minutes and the pizza was ready. It was big and fresh and good balance of cheese and pepperoni too. A local encouraged us to add Rosalie's to our trip and it was a very solid pie. You order at the counter and wait at a table of your choice. It was a busy weekend in July but there was ample seating. We were told it would take 35-40 min for our pizza so we got salads while we waited. One was made incorrectly which they quickly fixed. When you walk by this place, the aroma of freshly baked pizzas will draw you in. It drew me in twice in 2 days. First time, we ordered the Vegetarian Special pizza, which was just what we needed after a long drive to Bar Harbor. Second time, there was a long wait (over 1 hr) for a pizza so we ended up ordering the Baked Vegetarian Special, which did not live up to our expectations. It was advertised as a baked special but all of the vegetables in the sub were cold and raw, including the mushrooms, which was worrisome. All in all, I recommend trying their pizzas; can't saw the same about the subs. read more
