David explained the process, the technology of how it works and how to keep it working with the right care. I have referred David to many of my friends - that is more than 10. He shows up when he says he will. He does the work he said he will do. And he sticks to his price even if he runs into unforeseen rocks or other issues. I know some customers try the strategy of getting a contractor out to do his work, and then try for extra 'freebies'. That's unethical. He did a major job in our backyard last year when he installed a whole new sewer line and water main, so he feels like part of the family now. This is my second five star review for him, and how many times do you ever give anyone two five star reviews, right? That tells you everything you need to know about A-Advantage Plumbing. We have unfortunately been having some irksome plumbing issues in our house this year, and that's no fun! We had a clogged toilet in one bathroom at the same time that the toilet in the second bathroom needed a new fill valve, so we had to keep turning it on and off. After that, we had a massive kitchen sink clog from hell during massive summer heat. Most recently, the flapper chain and handle on one of our toilets broke right after the completion of a pee. The bad news on every occasion was that Bill wasn't currently available, and so my brother kept nagging at me to just hire any old plumber, but I insisted every time on waiting for Bill because who wants to risk being overcharged by a plumber you don't know or trust? We put up with the kitchen sink issue, the toilet that was constantly running, and even the broken toilet with the hideous stench of rancid urine until Bill became available, and I'm so glad that we waited because Bill only charged us $200 for the fill valve replacement and there was no charge at all for clearing the clogged toilet in the other bathroom. It would've easily cost us $300 total with any other run-of-the-mill plumber. The price to clear the clog from hell in the kitchen sink was only $500, and he only charged us $164 total to resolve the broken toilet handle/flapper chain issue. Moral of the story? Take advantage of A-Advantage and hire them whenever you can, even if you have to wait, because Bill is well worth waiting for! Bill's wife Karen is a gem too and she works wonders juggling Bill's very busy schedule.

When I was sure that we had to first replace the whole septic system, I got quotes from many companies and building 5 offered the most competitive price. I was told by some company that cheap means less quality. Okay, please use your own judgement. I can only say they are not greedy company, or maybe they use fewer workers with less time but very efficient work. Maybe no long warranty is also a factor. So it depends on what you want. And during the work, they were very transparent with each process and helped me take pictures of every step they did. Josh and Alan were very patient in answering all my questions. They even change the main sewer line connected to the tank which is not in the scope of work. And the toilet already started to flow. Josh is super honest with the price, he took down the part that they didn't do at the end. They not only saved our pocket but also the time. They did a wonderful job within a day with cheapest price which some company has to finish in a week but charge triple. They truly care not just for the money. Thank you for everything.
