Professional licensed company, expert knowledge and quality service! My septic tank was built in 1947, no access to the lid. Gardner came out dug to my lid, opened, cleaned it along with snaking the main line all within 2 hours. Arrived at the said time, very courteous, explained every step in detail. Gave me an honest price. Prior to finding Gardner, had two other septic companies come give bid, learned they were NOT licensed, neither one was able to diagnosis the problem with any confidence and their pricing was approximately $200 more than what I paid Gardner. Don't drink from your garden hose afterwards...after cleaning feces and urine from my septic tank, Gardner's 2 man crew shoved my garden hose 3 to 5 feet up their vacuum tube in order to clean out their 6 inch diameter hose. We expected the truck to arrive late morning and they finally showed up at about 2 PM. No phone calls. I would be happy to hire them again. Good price, they are local, and are good people. They repaired the line between my house and the septic tank. The crew had to cut my concrete patio to get to the main line. They located the line, which ended up being at least four feet deep. They dug it up and fixed it without complaint. The crew was professional, explained everything in detail and were very knowledgeable. They worked hard to make sure the work was done right. They did the repair and cleaned up the mess from the repair. They also hauled away the cut concrete pieces and the left-over parts from my old line. I messaged a few septic companies for my rental property but Greg (owner) was the quickest at responding to my questions. He was able to get out to the home in just a few days for a septic pump. He called me in the morning to let me know when he was on his way and again when the septic was cleaned... He also me sent pictures. If I could leave 0 stars I would. This was the worst service I have ever experienced. I called Greg who did not answer, but instead messaged me and asked me questions regarding my septic and to send a picture. I did everything he requested said it would be $350 and would be there within the hour. I stayed home and waited. What I did not know was that my home had never been pumped as my understanding was that it was abandoned for almost 3 years before I moved in. Greg sent his son who told me the work would cost more as it was hard to get through to pump I told him sure no problem I would pay the $1k plus price he gave me as I needed this problem fixed. He then decided to change his mind and say I'll come back again as part of the flooring needed to be removed. I told him to wait as my husband was coming. The son proceeded to snap his fingers at me and say "well you need to do this ASAP as I have other jobs to get done." Now I'm not one to be a Karen but I'll de damned if I let a boy into my home to come and disrespect me as if I'm a dog. I told him well if I would have known this needed to be done I would have done it in the hour I was waiting for you to arrive as it won't take long. He then proceeded to call his father and they refused to do the job. I told him no way I did not wait for them to come and not do anything at all. Greg the owner called me to threaten me with "or else" on the phone. When I told him "I know damn well you did not just call my phone to threaten me?" He changed his tone and said he would call the police. I said go ahead as you are on speaker phone and threatening me. His response "It's not a threat it's a promise, or else." I would not have made a big deal about this but you do not ever snap your fingers at anybody especially in their home. Rudest customer service ever. If they don't have time for customers don't over book simple as that. Mind you a bill of over $1000 that I was willing to pay all because the son didn't want to work and thought he could y disrespect me. Glad I dodged a billet with this place. History: In 2009 I purchased a home with a septic tank. Not knowing any better I call this company and ask for them to come pump out my septic tank. They respond and pump my tank. Hand me a $225 bill and out the door they go 20 minutes of work. Fast forward 5 years later. Present: My drains were not draining properly. My toilets were not flushing all that great. Funny smell in the house. I figure it's time to have it pumped again. I call a more local company that comes. As I point out the access point I'm informed that is not my septic tank, that is my cesspool, which is empty. Long story short. I dig up my septic tank 30 feet away and open it up to find it is full. A solid tank of crap, 20 years old. A little research and I find my documentation from when Gardener Septic serviced my tank. I learn from the professionals how my tank works, were it's located and what to do if this ever happens again. Basically Gardner Septic screwed me out of $225. They didn't do anything to help me in 2009. In fact they could have cost me thousands of dollars in repairs, because I thought I was doing the right thing. So guess what? Now I'm going to screw you. The bad review must be by an idiot or a rival. Septic tanks need to be emptied every one to two years, depending on the size and how many people use the system.
