This is not a good dealership because of customer service, they call you when they think you want to purchase a car from them after you do you cannot get a phone call returned if you have a problem, also stay away from the warranty coverage because if you decide to purchase then cancel they keep your money and throw it into your payment they say. read more

We bought our new car there, the sales rep is really nice. However, the financing department, Ms. Gonzalez is totally unprofessional and have no idea about her job. We corrected my husband's name three times for the finance contract. There was some issue with the network to proof the finance contract. She said she would take care of it. When we got the contract, my husband's name still wrong. She copied the first name to last name, while the first name is also wrong. We mentioned that when we went back for the coating from Zurich after a week. And when we received a letter from BMW financing. We found it even more offensive, she entered my husband gender wrong. Most unprofessional person I have ever met in business. Oh, other thing I should mention, she asked me to sign the declaim letter that she shows me all the options BMW provided. But she didn't, she actually stopped me from reading all the options/bundle when I reject bought another Zurich protect. read more

I had my oil changed here last May or June. I called them before hand to see how much they would charge and the person told me around $100, I forget the exact amount. So I decided to take my car over there because it wasn't much more than every where else. What they didn't tell me was that it costs another $100 to reset the computer. Little irritated but whatever, I just wanted to get it done. The day before I took my car over there, I filled up my washer fluid and didn't use a single drop of it. I took my car there and after I picked up my car, I looked at the bill and they had charged me $4 because they said they topped off my windshield washer fluid. Since it was only $4, I decided I wasn't going to go complain but because of their dishonesty, I will never go back there again. I also encourage my friends and family that own BMWs to never go their either. read more

**My car was taken out for a JOY ride by the dealer and drove 24 miles on my car while it was in for service** *****DONOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED AT PATRICK BMW IN SHAUMBURG IL**** I went in to the Patrick BMW dealer in Schaumburg IL to ask if cup holders are covered under the BMW warranty. I spoke to a sales advisor Andrew. He told me they cover cup holders all the time, while other BMW dealer told me cup holders are not covered under BMW warranty. I called BMW to find out if cup holders covered under the warranty or not, they told me they are NOT. So, I took my car back to the dealer and I told Andrew since you are covering the cup holder while the other BMW dealers are not I'll give you the business. I schedule the appointment to get the cup holders replaced. The first time I went to get my cup holder's replaced I was NOT satisfied with the service; it took two hours for the service department to install two cup holders and look at one other thing. When I confronted my sales advisor he got upset with me and told me he never told me it will only be 45 minutes to an hour and there is some misunderstanding. I gave them benefit of the doubt-I reschedule the appointment to have them look at the shuttering noise coming from the clutch. Not to mention that driver side cup holder was NOT installed properly! I dropped off my car on Wednesday (10/12/2011) regarding the shuttering noise coming from the clutch. I asked my sales advisor Andrew, so I should be hearing from you by tomorrow? He said, so far we know it's the flywheel that's making the noise, but it might be coming from transmission, but I will get back to you by tonight and let you know. Andrew called me same day at 6pm (I was surprised to hear from him) and said we still think it's the clutch but I will know tomorrow (Thursday) for sure. Andrew said I am not working tomorrow, so you will hear from someone else from the service department or I will call you first thing in the morning on Friday. I did NOT get a call Thursday, Friday or Saturday. After waiting for 3 days I called Saturday around noon, left a message for my sales advisor to call me back with a status update on the car. Andrew called me about 20min later and told me he got the approval from BMW last night and all they want us to do is change the fluid. I asked him what fluid. Again, he said all they want to do is change the fluid and I am not sure if we even have the fluid in stock I have to go check and I will call you later today. I asked him again what fluid, you told me it's the clutch that making the noise. He said no, BMW want us to do is just change the fluid before they authorize any major repairs. I asked him what fluid are you talking about, are you talking about the Transmission fluid. He said yes. I told him I work till 10:30pmso I will not be able to pick up the car today. He was like no problem I will call you before I leave and let you know when it will be ready. I did not get a call from him till 2pm Monday. Andrew left me a voice mail saying, we change the fluid on your car and we like to keep the car till Thursday (10/20/2011) since the BMW field manager is coming and we would like him to drive the car. I called Andrew back and told him, I will NOT leave my car any longer then what you already had the car for. I will picket up first thing tomorrow morning (Tuesday) (I wouldn't have peace of mind leaving the car here if the sales advisor constantly fails to followed up even with a promise). Wouldn't you think if they got the permission to change the Transmission fluid on Friday night, they should have change the fluid first thing Saturday morning?? Dealer is open at 8am on Saturday, I would think it would take about an hour or two at most three hours to change the transmission fluid and have the car ready by noon. But when I called at noon, the answer I got was oh, we just got permission from BMW last night, NOT sure if we have the fluid in stock. Seriously, I took my BMW to get it service at BMW dealer, not at the Ford dealer. How do they not have a transmission fluid in stock? So after getting my car back I came home and called BMW Customer Relations: 1-800-831-1117, I would think they would have information of things they authorized to be serviced. BMW had absolutely no information on any service that was authorized to Anderson BMW. After 5days waiting, with no follow up from my sales advisor Andrew, all I got was transmission fluid change, one improperly installed cup holder and 24 miles on my car. Yes, dealer put 24 miles on my car. When I went to ask about the 24 miles on my car, the girl at the service desk starts arguing with me, she said, well we had your car for about a week, and its ONLY 24 miles. In her opinion, it makes it alright to put 24 miles on my car since my car was in for service for a week?!!! In my opinion, 24 miles are a lot of miles for a dealer to drive while it's in for service. read more

My wife and I purchased a certified pre-owned X5 about six months ago from Patrick BMW. We submitted a request for more information online and we were contacted right away. We were even presented a better option for what we were looking for than we had initially seen on the website. Our sales person Agnes was extremely helpful, informative, and patient. She was great to work with and it was a very simple process signing everything in the finance office. Overall good expericne, and kind of by accident! I have had dealings with one of the other stores in the Patrick group in the past, so I trusted them and knew them to be reputible. I took my aunt's BMW in for service for her that she had purchased at another dealership, as she was very apprehensive because of the bad dealership experience she had elsewhere (in retrospect, it's crazy that I agreed to this, since I know as little about cars as the "typical woman," but I guess I felt more confident than she did). We called in, easily made an appointment for the next morning with a friendly voice on the phone. I brought it in, and they took a look while I waited. When they came back with the verdit, I felt it was very reasonable, and (using my good judge of human nature gene) I truly felt that I was not being "screwed." The service writer gave me a few additonal options that he would "recommend," but by no means was he pushy. I had him do the work for the necessary items, and I said I had to talk to my aunt about the others. He accepted that without a single sales push, and I was on my way shortly after. It's been about 4 weeks, and my aunt says that everything is still running smoothly / no complaints. As a side note... while I was waiting, I was wandering around the showroom, looking at cars, killing time. A salesperson approached me, asked me if I was being helped or if there was anything he could help me with. I explained I was just in for service. He pointed me toward the coffee, but left me alone after that. I was very apprecaite of the non-pushy-ness all around, as I this is one of my biggest "fears" of a dealership. I went in to get service on my new 5-series. It took a day & 1/2 for a 3 hour service ticket. They gave me a 2 door 3-series as a loaner, when I just purchased a 2012 4 door 5-series. I believe they should give you something comparable. But I was late for my appt and the service girl told me she gave away the car she had on hold for me (but she didn't call me to see if I was still coming to my appt). For what it's worth, they did give me a X5 loaner before when I had my other 5-series serviced. So I give them the benefit of the doubt that they were going to give me something comparable. The work I needed done was not a BMW product (after market product was put in), and apparently their vendor was late the day I was supposed to get my car done. So I can't completely blame Patrick BMW for the tardiness of my car. Overall, other than the service coordinator not calling to see if I was running late & not getting a comparable loaner, the people I had to deal with were nice, professional and easy to speak with. read more

Experience was great. Needed a loaner car to get to work, didn't have to jump through hoops or anything and was in and out in 20 minutes after dropping my BMW off for repair. Matt did a great job keeping me updated and organized on the repairs being done vs. repairs that I was going to take care of on my own. Dropped off the loaner and picked up my car and was on the road in 10 minutes. I was a bit concerned about the online reviews but glad everything was handled quickly and professionally. The American consumer votes with their feet. After leaving the vehicle with the service dept. for a "two hour" recall service, my son and spouse(who took the day off for the service visit) returned after nearly six hours, to find the car had not even been looked at by the service dept. (three hours later, service calls and says it is complete, this after we have driven home agreeing to pick up the car in the morning) In addition, we purchased rotors and brake pads from the service department, strictly by chance, I called Mini of Madison for pricing on these components and Patrick tried over charging by nearly forty percent! I objected, and they met the Mini of Madison price, but had I not shopped, I would I have been over charged over 200 dollars! I am located half way between Patrick Mini and Mini of Madison, my service choice has been made simpler read more

i do not live in Schaumburg. in fact, i do not live anywhere near Schaumburg! And yet, i would go to Patrick BMW/MINI again and again for my cars. the service is incomparable, the selection is amazing and the people have old fashioned values in regard to customer satisfaction while using high tech tools to repair and service your car. anywher else really pales in comparison. I actually thought of looking up the owner of the dealership and writing him a letter, but I guess yelp is just as good. Sometimes a little schlepping is worth it! read more

I understand that dealerships need to make a profit and move cars off the lot. That is a given and part of any normal car dealership operation. What I find completely reckless is the business practices and lack of ethics at this organization. Although what transpired is legal, they definitely do not have the customer's best interest at heart. Finding whatever means to find the "financing" for an individual incapable of maintaining a car they certainly cannot afford is just bad business practice. Obviously, the responsibility also falls squarely on the person to live within their means. However, on such a large financial purchase, I would assume that their organization would hold themselves to better business practices to protect the consumer as well. It just goes to show the caliber of people at this organization. Please avoid. read more

Patrick Mini is top notch! The bitterness of poor quality will last long after the joy of the lowest price! So I paid the same or a little more at Patrick, when I purchased my Mini Countryman, but it has been a worth while investment when it comes to the service. I generally don't make an appointment, unless I need a loaner and they always seem ready for me. This Patrick service department is on top of their business with parts and top quality mechanics. I have never waited more than 1 minute to get a greeting as I pull in like " how can I help you today". They hand wash my car for free and it usually takes less than 15 minutes. What else could you ask for. More than satisfied and well worth doing business with. read more

I just bought a car from them and the process was the smoothest most painless car buying experience I've had. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. I live very far from the dealership and Keith who was my sales guy worked with me to get as much done as was possible without my physical presence so that when I finally was able to be present there was little left to take care of. We recently had a great experience at Patrick BMW in Schaumburg. Angelo was great- very knowledgeable and such a gentleman. We had to bring in our kids with us to car shop and he was so patient with them, entertaining them while we discussed the car and worked through the paperwork. I bought my BMW at this place and have been quite dissatisfied with the service charges. I called for 60k service and maintenance reminder showed only oil change due. I called and they said 60k service also requires cabin air filter change which I saaappointment they try to add service iti0k servers I didn't want changed (for$300+). They said oil change is $150. When I got there they said if I don't get cabin filters changed, they will also not reset my oil maintenance reminder, so I reluctantly agreed and they said the spark plugs also need to be replaced at 60k (no one on phone mentioned anything about spark plugs). I had to pay $950+ for this service where maintenance reminder said only oil is due? They also said in 2 months the brake fluid needs to be flushed for $600. This car is not even 3 years old and I'm just 10k miles Oort of warranty? I will be looking for another service facility and likely Aalto last BMW I WOULD EVER BUY! read more

I drove out of state to purchase a vehicle from Patrick BMW. I was paying in full with cashier's check. My sales person, Gary Khaytin, including his manager, without my permission, have ran my credit score stating that they do that with every buyer regardless if they are paying cash or not. I was notified AFTER that they have ran my score WITHOUT my consent. I stopped Gary and turned to his manager who was standing outside the office and stated that I did not consent to run my credit score and why was it done in general since I am buying a vehicle in cash. His words "We always want to make sure that you can afford this vehicle. This is a required process in order to buy the car". I was very confused and highly alerted on what is going on. I did not want a loan or to have my credit pulled since I am paying for car in cash in full. I proceeded because I was told this was a required process to buy the car so I felt trapped with no other option and it was 7:30 at night, having to drive home that's 8hrs away. Manager walked me over to finance department, Dana is her name. The very first document she showed me was called an Installment contract, which is a loan contract with taxes and interest rate included. I told her there is miscommunication, and that I am not applying for a loan since I have a cashiers check in full to pay for vehicle. She stated that this is a bank cashable contract (loan) which they have everyone sign just in case cashiers check bounces. I said I never wanted to apply for one but she again told me this was the only way I could leave with the car. I was tricked and lied into applying for the loan as it was never explained to me what my personal information was being used for. Once they tricked me into an approval, I was told on the spot this was my only option to leave with the car. Now I am left with cashable loan in possession of dealer, hard inquiry on my credit score all while paying in cash! Be on high alert with this dealer! This is called a deceptive and fraudelent business practice. I am taking higher measures to resolve this issue. read more

Crooks! Came down from Milwaukee to buy a car because Patrick BMW had a good deal. Car didn't make it 24 hours without the engine failing. I had to get the car fixed in Milwaukee since the engine didn't work. Took a week and a half for Patrick to pay for the service. After the major engine repairs were done there was consequential damage to the catalyst. Patrick raised their hands and said sorry we've helped as much as we can. Called day after day and complained, explained I didn't want the car. For weeks they resisted and said they wouldn't take the car back. Finally, talked to another sales rep and they were going to let me exchange the car. This is where it gets good, they offered me $3500 less than what I paid for the car even though I hadn't owned it for thirty days. When I explained I couldn't take the loss on the car they said they would drop the price on a different vehicle $3500 to make up for the difference. I drove all the way down and then they said they could only drop the price of the new car by $600. At this point I have wasted hours of my time and a lot of stress. I had to take the deal because I didn't know what was still wrong with the car. No one felt bad, they just as well laughed me off the lot. I got hosed, i know it, they know it, but that is the Patrick promise. That car is currently for sale at Patrick BMW as a one-owner, which is false. The service department here is below average and the dealership does not back up the product they sell. I purchased a used certified 328i in the summer of 2017. In October I took it in for service. I was told the wait would be about 3 hours. I didn't mind waiting because I had some work to do anyways. The work ended up taking 6 hours. When I took the car in for service I also showed Matt in service my headlights. They have a bunch of small cracks on the inside of the casing. He told me he took photos and would be in touch because BMW would have to approve replacing them. After waiting for Matt's call for 2 weeks and never receiving one I attempted to call him. It took several days and several unreturned voicemails to finally get a hold of him. He told me BMW would not repair the headlights even though the problem is with the bulbs overheating and causing the cracks. I'm not sure how a bumper to bumper warranty doesn't cover a manufacture defect but according to Patrick BMW it does not. I will not be going back to Patrick BMW ever again. I hope Elmhurst BMW has better service. read more

My worst experience so far, I was in the market for my X3 and internet department already gave me a price and stock number. I fixed a time when I would be arriving at the dealership. I arrived at the promised time and had to wait for 11/2 hour until a sales rep is assigned. I show him the internet price and he makes faces and wasted another 1/2 hour talking to his manager. The manager named Brenz is another a**hole who seriously needs lesson in anger management. The guy had no understanding of how to talk to customer. God know who made him a manager. Never stepping in Patrick's dealership again. You lost mine and my friend's business forever. read more
