This place is far less what I expected. I came in to test drive and BUY a 135i. When we sat down to negotiate we were going back and forth until we landed on a number. The "manager" shook my hand at the deal, and steps out with his sales person and comes back after 3 minutes saying that he "heard" wrong and upped the price. I stood up and walked away while they stood there with their d***s in their hands. I don't recommend this location at all if you're trying to get good deals on used inventory. I've been to Bill Jacobs BMW in Naperville, and it was a totally different experience- for the better. read more

No need to go to any other BMW dealer, Patrick is the place. I have to say I have been dealing with the best salesman I have ever met. When you go there you have to ask for Angelo Tramuta. He is by far the most respectful and honest person I have ever dealt with in my car buying experience. He makes sure he takes care of all of his customers like family. He has taken care of my family and I for over 10 years and I wouldn't go to anyone else. I have purchased many vehicles and never had to argue or haggle over a price. He by far always beats other dealers prices and with customer service blows all competition away. Service representatives are amazing as well. Everyone at the dealer is super accommodating and I rate it a 5/5 for a reason. Go see Angelo if you're looking for a bimmer! read more

Matt the service guy was so unprofessional and disrespectful. Every time I came in with my car he would take me as a fool and tell me what he thought was wrong with my car when CLEARLY I already knew what the problem was and brought it in for repair ! I've heard the same comments and reviews about this guy from some of my other friends who are connected with Patrick bmw. It's not fair. This guy needs to be removed and replaced ASAP ! Shit, il take the job! Call me for an interview, I've got full availability open rn read more

Enzo Costa is the wizard behind the Patrick BMW curtain. He makes sure that everything is perfect for customers. His commitment to excellence is beyond comparison. He is the main reason that I am now a Patrick lease customer after being completely disrespected and taken for granted by Fields BMW in spite of having leased 6-8 cars consecutively from Fields. As a north shore resident it was well worth my time to check out Patrick BMW. They are the BEST option for any Chicagoland BMW customers, and Enzo is the man who gets everything done. read more

I always read the reviews before I visit any business. Overall Patrick BMW has great reviews. My experience here was nothing short of amazing. I didn't feel pressured to purchase. Michael Urbana was awesome. He addressed all of my questions and concerns. Very attentive and professional. I would definitely recommend Patrick BMW. read more

This is specific to the service department. I purchased a vehicle earlier this year and was offered a concierge service, where someone drops off a loaner at your house while the car is getting serviced. i live in the city, so this is a major selling point for me, since i don't want to have to drive to Schaumburg. So when the first service rolled around, i called the service line and was told someone would call me back. a week goes by, noone called. so finally i call them back and they say we can be there on Thursday in the am. So i stay at home waiting for their call / them to show up. The guy calls and says he is running behind. Ok. We reschedule to another Thursday morning. Same situation - no one calls. Finally i call the service department only to be told they were trying to contact me and that they don't have anyone. Seriously? You don't have a guy with a car at a car dealership? Oh and the guy, Tom, was rude. Moving my business elsewhere - will be looking for a refund for this shitty "concierge" service. EDIT - despite the note by whoever is manning their Social Media outreach below, no-one has contacted me yet. The guy who sold me the car so far said I am on my own on this and that I would have to bring the car in by myself, only making it even harder for me to recommend any services from Patrick, including buying the car. What a disappointment. I will be contacting the BMW service line directly to issue a formal complaint. read more

Salesperson Keith is rude and not personable. A typical "car salesperson". He kept trying to rush the whole process. Avoid him. I saw dealer vehicles parked in reserved handicap parking stalls. As a person with a disabled member of my family, I found this offensive. Not to mention it is illegal. Laurel BMW in Westmont gave me much more professional correspondence, treated me like a valued guest. read more

I've been a Patrick BMW customer since 1984 and the service from every department at this dealership has been excellent. Starting with the Sales department (Terry Shoemaker in particular) and continuing through the all-important Service department, Patrick BMW has the most professional, customer-focused team in Chicago for selling and servicing BMWs. The Service department deserves special mention, headed by Brad Smith with over 20 years of experience of taking care of Patrick BMW customers, I've never been disappointed by the quality of work coming out of this department. They care about my car as much as I do and then continue to service my 11 year car as if it was the newest BMW model available while managing the cost of such service better than any other dealership. They are the best! read more

If you are BLACK.... they want you too STAY BACK. I visited there lot on 2 separate occasions. Once to buy a car cash, I had about 20K to spend. I walked the lot so long I just ended up going into the used car trailer they had at the time (they were in the middle of some construction), and once there, I could not get a salesman or manager to even look my way. They are very stuck up there and full of themselves and the sad part is I make more money then them. Most of these car salesman and managers are broke but fell because the work at a BMW Dealership that they are better and that they have the right to Judge people. My wife an I went to there lot again today to drop another 30K on a 370z convertible and once again, there were literally 4 salesman in a corner under a tree smoking and looking at us. The only reason I went there is because they were the only dealership that was fairly close to us that had the convertible 370z. This place is a joke and they will never see a dime of this Black mans money. I am going to post this on yelp as well. As a matter of fact, I am going to go back to to this racist place and get this experience so that you all can see and place it on youtube. Get ready for a social networking PR Nightmare. All my black brothers and sisters, do yourself a favor and do go here. Woodfield Lexus down the street is much nicer and they know how to treat people. Stay tuned! read more

I did a thorough research today on a 3 Series and after speaking to 3 other dealerships in the Chicago area, Patrick offered the best deal - all of the other dealers told me they couldn't compete with their price and to take their deal. I think they really work hard for their customers and being that I've purchased 3 cars from one of their other brands in the past, they continue to provide the best deals. I didn't end up getting a vehicle because it wasn't where I needed to be to get it done but will go back in the future based on other dealers telling me how good the deal was. read more

I recently found a BMW on the internet and watched it for a couple of weeks- then took the plunge. Adam Phiippou contacted be right away to set up and appointment at my convenience to look at the car. I met him and he handed me off to Brian Parker a salesman in the showroom. I have to say what a great experience - he was knowledgeable and NOT PUSHY at all- the conversations went at my pace - we drove the car - worked out a great deal and now its mine. Brian I understand has moved on to another job - I wish him well in all his future endeavors-Im sure he will excel. Adam is finishing up the car delivery later this week. To Patrick BMW thanks for a great buying experience - you have great employees. We will be looking for an additional car in the spring when moving to North Carolina , but will definitely come here to buy. Thanks Michael read more

This is a review on a salesman named Angelo Tramuta He was probably the best salesman I've ever encountered he took me through all the steps, found out what my needs were and delivered. Had a horrible experience today at Patrick BMW. Called ahead about the car we were interested in and was told the car was available My husband and I drove 1 hour and arrived at noon exactly when we told them we would arrive The salesman we were assigned told us the car was in service then was told several times after that he couldn't find the car. After waiting almost 2 hours the salesman still could not find the car. We waited to speak to manager and after waiting 15 minutes for him we left as he never made time for us Shortly after leaving the salesman called us back to say he found the car so we turned around after being told the car would be ready. We arrived back to look at the car and wanted to see interior and at least turn it on only to find out the salesman did not have the keys. He could find them Totally poor service Too bad as we did like the car but not sure I would buy a car from a place that offers customers this type of service. I felt bad for the salesman as he really was trying but got no assistance from his fellow staff. read more

I leased a vehicle through Patrick BMW for 36 months. Prior to this lease, over the years had purchased 3 cars, Cadillac SRX, jaguar and BMW X3. All purchased and serviced through Patrick and primarily with Rose, who is amazing. When my lease was up in May, I decided to lease through a different dealership. I returned the car, with no extra miles and normal wear and tear. I was informed I had to replace the tires. I was surprised because I have never had to replace tires on a 3-year old car with 36000 miles. The young man I was dealing with went to get his manager. The manager came into the garage and rudely insisted new tires were needed. Again, I questioned his reasoning. He again rudely asked me if i was going to pay for new tires. I again expressed my disbelief that new tires were necessary. He stormed off and a few weeks later received a bill from Patrick that in addition to tires body work was also now needed. Clearly Patrick was trying to punish me for not renewing my lease with them. This is very shocking considering all the business I have given Patrick in the past. I ended up leasing a vehicle through Motorworks. Before my lease with Patrick, I had leased through Motorworks. Upon returning those cars, they shook my hand and thanked me for my business. No rude comments or unexpected added bills. They were very professional and courteous, unlike Patrick BMW. Jeannette A read more

Awesome BMW Dealership in Chicagoland! Outstanding Service a 5 stars!!!!

We purchased a 2004 BMW 325i on 8/10/12 for my daughter as a birthday present. This was her first BMW and after our experience probably will be her last. Approximately 50% of the miles driven, 764 miles as of today, were from the dealership home. This car was bought AS-IS. After reviewing the Carfax report and trusting my salesman regarding the history of the car, I bought what I thought would be a reliable car. NOT! Shortly after purchasing it, the car smelled like it was burning up after running errands in town. Also, I am still waiting for the second replacement remote as one of the two remotes never recharged and you have to manually lock and unlock your doors. It is obvious that it will never come. I have already had it in the shop TWICE, once for a valve cover gasket replacement repair and a second time for an airbag sensor issue. I hold my breath because I fear what's next. My daughter used to like the car but now she is afraid to drive it. This will be the one and only purchase I give these unethical dirtbags. Run in the opposite direction of this dealership! Shame on them. read more

Customer care at Patrick BMW is rubbish. I called and asked about service for my car. She said she cannot assist me and told me to hold on, then proceeded with hanging up without an apology or good bye. Not the quality of service I expect for a $120,000 car. read more

If there was a way to give negative stars for sketchy service, this review would be negative. The reps tell you they are taking care of certain repairs and later you find out they never did those repairs. Now that the car is out of warranty they indicated the repairs are needed even though they should have been covered originally. No trust in Patrick BMW in Schaumburg, IL! Buyer be aware! read more

My wife and I recently purchased a 2020 BMW X3. We made an appointment to meet with Alan Murad a salesman that we had met previously. We wanted to test drive an X3. Alan had 2 X3's ready for us to drive and each with slightly different equipment. We took our test drives and really liked the way the car handled. We could not, however find an X3 equipped the way we wanted it. Alan suggested that we could order a 2020 the way we wanted it. We proceeded to his office and spent a great deal, of time selecting the option we wanted. We found Alan to be very patient and knowledgeable. When we finished picking our options, Alan gave us a price we could not refuse. The car was ordered and 2 months later it arrived. We made an appointment to pick up the car, got a fair price for our trade in, financed with BMW Finance and spent 1.5 hours with a "genius" Greg who helped us set up our options. An exhausting but great experience. Thanks Alan & Greg. You certainly made buying this expensive vehicle as painless as possible. read more

I want to thank our fantastic sales rep, Alan Murad. This was our first BMW (and we also bought a Mini at the same time!). His patience was extraordinary as we spent several days and many hours with him trying to decide what we wanted. It was clear that his motivation in selling to us was that we are happy - and not to just "shove us in a car today". Throughout the process I always felt that he was listening to what we were saying carefully and really helped us through the process from start to finish. Thank you! read more

So I was trying to buy a 535 from their internet sales guy, Alan Murad. He showed me a car that had 10 miles on it. Or at least that it what it said on Cars.Com AND the Patrick BMW web site. However after weeks of going back and forth and finally settling on a price, he told me the car actually had 6,600 miles. To say I was frustrated is an understatement. However I really should thank Alan as I did find the same exact car at a dealer in Nebraska for $500 cheaper than what Alan was trying to bait and switch me on. read more

BMW is considered luxury car so I expected better service from these guys. I think I could have walked in at a used car dealership and got better service. Leased a $70,000 car and was treated like nothing. Receptionist did no offer us to seat or water or anything. Car was a Christmas gift and was not there on the date I was told it would be. Big disappointment. Out of desperation got one I did not like. Price went up even though I was promised a deal. I paid $1000 to have the rims painted and dealer again over promised on date and failed to deliver. They will hear from Amex soon. I paid for the rims to be painted separately and somehow they "cooked" the paperwork and included the rims painting in the car price. Why, go figure, I am sure there is a reason. Was not offered water or even a seat by the receptionist. They never respected my time table, they just make you seat in an empty office to irritate the hell out of you so that you can sign at anything they put in your face and get out. I would not buy from these guys ever again! TYPICAL DEALERSHIP! I cannot believe they sell BMWs. They will over promise you everything and under deliver on everything. Bottom line, one star, and shop multiple dealers, ALWAYS!!! Thank you Yelp! read more

I am a current owner of 2 BMW's and decided to venture out to Schaumburg because of a friends referral. I spent 20 minutes wandering the lot while salespeople stared at me....No assistance was offered. I decided at that point to enter the dealership in hopes of getting some help. I needed to trade up from my X3 to and X5. I showed myself the X5 that was located on the showroom floor.....still no help, no hello....I moved to the white 3 convertible outside of the managers office....he and 3 others looked at me a couple of times.....still no help, no hello. Frustrated, I grabbed a salesperson who was hanging out with the receptionist shooting the "&*@!" asked him where the X5 stock was kept on the lot. He motioned to the front of the lot....I said "wow, you only have four X5's"?? He said No, we keep them at our storage lot. No Hi, my name is..... No, welcome to Patrick BMW....No assistance whatsoever. I beg to differ with the gentlemen who thought they were racist... I'm white, 45 years old and financially capable of buying anything they offer....YET NO HELP!! It was a sad experience for a presumed "luxury" car dealer. read more

Review directed at the sales department: Wow... that sums up my experience at Patrick BMW pretty well. One would expect that if you enter a dealership, let alone a BMW dealership, there would be many employees lending out a welcoming hand and asking if they could help with anything. That is most definitely not the case here at Patrick BMW. As a matter of fact, for the 15 minutes I spent loitering around the showroom floor, attempting to make eye contact with any employee, not a single person even acknowledged me! And that was only the beginning! Patrick BMW, my experience left me very disillusioned. My dad and I are in the market for a used high performance vehicle. We managed to narrow our search down to the BMW M3, the Lexus IS F, Benz C63 AMG, and the Audi S5. A few days ago, we went to Patrick BMW to see if we could test drive the M3. It took a little while, but we did talk to a rep. Unfortunately, the M3 was in detailing, and therefore, it was not available. So the rep gave us his business card, wished us a good day, and we were off. Today, we decided to return as we believed that the car must be back from detailing. We gave the sales rep a call to check on the status of the M3, and had to leave a voicemail. When we didn't receive a return call, we contacted the general number and were connected to the rep. All friendly on the phone, he said he would have the vehicle ready for us when we arrived in about 10 minutes. Well, we made our way inside and waited for him. And we continued to wait. Followed by that was even more waiting. Deciding to take matters into our own hands, we asked the polite lady at the front desk to let him know that we were waiting. She promptly called over the PA system for our rep to come. Another 5 minutes passed, she decided to call for him yet again. Here is the real kicker! We saw him in an office with other employees! He wasn't with a customer; he was simply ignoring us! We gave him two minutes and said forget it. Even the lady was in disbelief as she shook her head and called him, but it was too late. Patrick BMW, I am truly appalled at the disrespect and complete lack of motivation to help interested customers. Had your employee not been so arrogant to ignore us AND waste a solid 30 minutes of our time (plus drive time), we very well could have walked out the door to our new vehicle. You must stay in business thanks to your service department because your sales department is the worst I have ever worked with. Furthermore, I can't believe you lack the common sense to make it mandatory for your employees to welcome people! Honestly! I went to Motor Werks Mercedes Benz in Hoffman Estates recently to test another performance vehicle, and their service compared to yours... HA!!! Instantly upon entering I had people offering my hot chocolate, water, coffee, AND saying that they would be more than happy to assist me with whatever I needed! Their sales department was EXPONENTIALLY better than what I experienced from your dealership!!! Make your customers feel welcomed for Heaven's sake! I do not plan on giving any business to any company that treats their customers disrespectfully. Hence, Patrick BMW, I will neither be buying from you, nor utilizing your service department at ANY time. read more

I have worked with sal for years and will continue to work with him. He always checks in on me and is a straight up guy. As far as when it is all said and done in the the finance office, that is where I have issues. The high pressure tactic of extended maintenance and warranties is not necessary..offer it up and if refused that should be the end of it. I also asked if I could purchase the extended maintenance at a later date through BMW and was told yes, but it could be more expensive "they always go up"...I get it, but let me make the choice. So long story short bought the plan and yes I know they didn't forcefully make me, I just disagree with the sales tactic...could have been done different. A little hint, I went to BMWs web site afterwards and saw the plans are cheaper directly through them, I am not sure on the business model, but I am sure there is some markup by the dealer. May be at cost or less margin online. I am happy with the car and the salesman..so 2 out of 3 is not bad! read more

Bait and Switch dealer. Terrible experience. Tried to sell us a loaner as a new car. The entire deal had all these "taxes and fees" that are because I live in Chicago. The finance manager was a crook trying to justify a high interest rate because I live in Chicago and "that's the law" and pulled the now illegal transaction tax as an excuse to change the deal that was agreed on paper days prior. A huge waste of time and the worst customer service experience in a while. They should be ashamed of their silly used car dealer practices. read more

I bought my used 2002 X 5 from them. Had a great experience with Timo in the service department who went beyond normal to help me. The sales lady Sharon was awesome too, but everyone else in that dealership are arrogant. When I got the car it came with 1 fob key with dead battery. That's ok car is old I understand so I ordered a new fob key. That came in, was programmed everything worked great, paid big bucks but what was I supposed to do, car had only one key. Well with my new fob and the key that came with I had 2 keys, plus a valet key. All peachy right?. Well about 3 months after buying the car a key was mailed to my house, no letter etc. I guess Patrick BMW "found" one of the original keys to the car but not until I purchased a brand new 200 $ fob key. Returned to dealership to question why I had to buy a key, let's just say they have had some staff changes and lost some good people and kept who knows what to work there but my wife's BMW will not be purchased from them. Watch and see if the manager responds to my review, it's not 5 star so I doubt it. I have 3 keys to my X5 and a valet key. Seems by hiding the second key Patrick BMW forced me to buy a new key. Well it's a shame you don't have people like the ones you let go working there, let's see how many one star reviews Patrick BMW will get and how long before they close. read more

I purchased a new 2012 M3 from Patrick BMW over two months ago. Great car but terrible organization all around. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!!

I have had both positive and negative experience dealing with Patrick BMW. Like any dealer, when I purchased my car there, they were all over me and I honestly feel like I got a good deal. I brought it in a couple of times for repairs and they were done to my satisfaction. I have been asking for over two months now about a satellite radio offer made by BMW of North America and each time in email, told, "we will have someone get back to you." After hearing that from four different customer service agents, an no follow up response to date, I realize this is the run around and they have no intention of addressing my questions or concerns. My recommendation for you: If you are buying a car and plan to move out of town, Patrick BMW is just fine. If you are going to rely on any interaction with the dealership post-purchase, more than likely you are not going to be happy. I won't purchase from them again at this point. Too many other better choices in the Chicagoland area for this kind of customer service. read more

If I could give them a negative rating I would. My husband bought a car at this dealership last year. We specifically came in to look at a vehicle we saw an ad on. Test drove it and when we went to negotiate the price it was thousands higher than the advertised price. Because they showed us the WRONG car. Looked just like it but features were different. Then they offered a ridiculous trade in price. Sales person told us to go down to car max and sell it and come back. After an hour and a half of wasted time we were leaving and the original sales person we spoke to on phone was now "available". Negotiated price, bought car. The sales person has to fill out the licensing paperwork...huh? Not a good idea, because a year later when my husband tries to renew his sticker, the plates are not valid. They never submitted the paperwork and then applied for new plates that weren't valid. One mistake after another. Five trips to the DMV (because his time and gas count for nothing) and 2 trips to the dealership, a call to the GM (still waiting on a return call) to get this resolved. NEVER will go back to this dealership and will tell everyone to stay away. Worst experiences ever. read more

My review is about the $25,000 fraud that Patrick BMW Service Department planned. I have brought my 2002 BMW 745i to Patrick BMW on June 29 of 2012 for professional assessment of the problem which sounded as a clicking noise, not "knocking". After a whole week of diagnostics at Patrick Dealer Group, service manager informed me that the engine will have to be replaced for either short block for $17,000 or the long block for $25,000. This was orchestrated and confirmed by group manager. Then I was guided to contact BMW North America to cover the cost of engine replacement as Patrick Group intended to defraud the warranty of BMW North America and myself. When BMW North America declined the claim, I have suspected foul play as the car had only 57,000 miles, so I declined the services as well and removed the car from Patrick Group. Later I made an appointment with Fields BMW, upon arrival to Fields BMW, the alternator seized and there was no longer a clicking noise. Fields BMW Service Group ran all diagnostics and found NOTHING pertaining to any cylinder or engine problems, as they have submitted this in writing. The list of problems included the alternator, AC leakage, transmission sleeve leakage, and power steering leak, all totaling to $5,600 in complete repairs. To verify all this I have reached out to Hi Tech Auto Group, Inc., that confirmed entirely the list of issues from Fields BMW and again confirming no existing problems with engine as portrayed in fraud attempt by Patrick Dealer Group. I have completed the repairs and the car is running flawlessly. I have suspected that Patrick Dealer Group has also sabotaged my car previously to induce repairs. Two separate service facilities confirmed the fraud that Patrick Dealer Group attempted for $25,000, on top of earlier suspected sabotage of ignition coils, CD changer, rear brake booster lines, and electric window totaling to over $6,800.
