Both had under 4k in mileage and both had reported engine issues. The Patrick Cadillac sales person never disclosed this and when I confronted her she vehemently denied any issues. The truth is I had the GM service histories. The sales person was named Kaitlyn. Such a scummy way to do business. I would avoid this dealership at all cost. Cadillac sales persons are very good. I had great experience with Phoenix. I bought an electric car and since getting a L2 charger takes time, Phoenix offered to let me get my car charged till I get my home charger installed. However the Finance Department is not good in telling you all the details you are signing. I was not told about a $595 lease ending fee. Public Apologies, Zero Help Cost Me Time & Money! I brought my 2024 Escalade ESV Platinum (20K miles) to Patrick Cadillac after an engine failure. They told me the vehicle would be there for two weeks and refused to provide a courtesy/loaner vehicle. I was left without transportation while still making huge payments on a $130K truck I couldn't drive. After I posted a review, they replied with the usual: "Please call us so we can make this right." I called. I followed up. Nothing changed. No loaner, no help, no urgency. I ended up paying out of pocket to have my Escalade towed to Heritage Cadillac in Lombard. Heritage checked it in within 2 days, treated me with respect, and gave me a loaner immediately. That's what real customer service looks like. If you're thinking about bringing your Cadillac here, get everything in writing and don't rely on the copy-paste customer service replies you see online. We were interested in seeing some Cadillacs after the workday. So we drove 25min after dinner to see some Cadillacs we were seriously interested in. All the online stuff, and their FRONT DOOR said they were open till 9pm. We arrived at 7:55pm. Excited to take a test drive. We walk in and some guy is leaving. Lady at a computer says they're closed, and the posted hours are for NEXT WEEK. We were basically asked to leave! Who does that? Why is it so hard to give away my money to buy a car? All I hear about is how many cars are sitting on lots now, post Covid. How dealers are struggling for sales. This is the 3rd dealer that just wasn't interested in selling. Maybe I will go online! We had a 2023 Escalade ESV scheduled for an appointment to service transmission and some open recalls. During a 2 weeks period the car was moved once from a parking spot to another.We never received at least a phone call to give us an update, but there is no surprise considering that they didn't even brought the car at least once into the shop.We called and called and called and every time there was a reason: busy with another customer, lunch, gone for the day and so on. They were so lost that they could not even locate the work order.We end up picking up the car and drove it to another dealer to take care of it. They we so incompetents that not even the open recalls were taken care of. They did NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING. Unprofessional to the highest level! This was my 2nd time purchasing a car from a Patrick dealer, first time at Patrick Cadillac, and I'm very happy. Jose was great to work with and he's been very helpful. There was some 3M residue on the dash when I test drove the car and I asked for them to take care of it if I bought the car, and they did just a few days after I took it home. Ferik, one of the managers was also very helpful and nice. I didn't love how they tried to play with my trade in value by sneaking in the tax credit when they said we're giving you $X for your trade. Luckily I know all my calculations beforehand and I was able to catch it. But other than that my experience has been great and I will be taking my Cadillac back for any needed service. read more

Really not happy with Patrick.... I scheduled an appointment with service and they asked me if they could give me a free estimate to buy my car from me. I told them all I wanted was service and not looking to sell my car, but if they wanted to have an estimate for me I would consider it. When I went to pick my car up I paid for service and asked for my keys so I could leave. I was told my keys were with a salesperson. I said I had no intentions or time to sit with a salesperson and upfront stated I was not in the market to buy a new car. I really didn't even care to sell my car, but said to just write down the appraisal and I'll consider it. Basically, I was held hostage for 10 minutes as they wouldn't give me my car keys until I sat and listened to why they thought I needed a new car.... And after saying probably 3 times I was not buying a new car. If you think my Cadillac is that bad, maybe you're sending a message that you don't think Cadillac retains it's quality and value after a couple years. Disappointed in Cadillac and how they serve their customers. Even though the car was fixed, the service wasn't great and some service advisors shouldn't really be working there. read more

Searching for a new (or fairly new) car on a whim, thanks to a rental car that made me feel pretty excited about a brand... I mean, who doesn't love something that anticipates your every possible need... and then silently does these acts of service without any fanfare? Yeah, heated steering wheel, auto tilting side mirrors, ambient interior lights... Too bad you cant similarly custom order SOs like that ... I mean I'd pay full retail for that... words you'd NEVER hear coming from me... anywho... This dealership has zero swag or class. I found my car online at Patrick and came and saw it, the salesman was fine. Then we did paperwork and I left the car there to be detailed because it had cigarette ashes all over it and medicine bottles of whoever had it before. The people there assured that 2 days later they'd have it detailed and cleaned, fast forward two days later I come to pick up my vehicle, it was just as dirty as it was when I test drove it. Possibly dirtier. They promised to come pick it up a few days later and have it detailed. They did, however the detailing wasn't that great but it didn't have cigarette ashes all over it. Anyways fast forward to a couple days ago my car started to tell me it needs an oil change. So I called to check if the dealership did an oil change on the vehicle when it was in there, they cannot tell me. So who know when it had an oil change. read more

Where do I even start? This place is far from California where I live. I found a car for sale and flew out with my friend to go buy it. I had my credit check and everything before I got there. I was told I am approved for GM financing at 2.9% for 60 months Plus I could put whatever amount down I wanted is what I was told. We fly out there to look at the car, decided to buy it (there some dents and rocks chips, car had 1 key (I was told the key is about $160 to get, A local dealer quoted me about $500 programmed) and none of these things was disclosed to me before flying there) PS: I got free touch up paint lol We get to the dealer Friday at 7pm decide to buy the car. We get to the paper work, the finance papers show 7% or 8% and they are asking $8,000 down. NOT what I was told on the phone that I was approved for. We called the imbecile who did the financing paperwork and he does not pick up the phone. At this time its almost 9pm. We are arguing back and fort And I am fed up with their BS so I tell them I'm not buying the car. They paid for our hotel ($130 or so) and in the morning I had to apply for different banks to get the loan. I ended up paying $10k down and almost 5% APR I drove the car back to California and surprise on the way back (keep in minds its 19 degrees outside and raining) The engine light came on within 50 miles , Onstar could not diagnose what the issue was since they could not get Onstar activate still not sure what it was but the light turned off after driving a couple of hundred miles my window is covered in crap and ice and I cant use the windshield wiper fluid to clean the window because the tech who certified the car did not replace the wiper fluid with non-freezing fluid. (I did not know this until the second dealer told me what was the cause) So I take the car to a dealer here in California and the dealer tell me .... and some more bs they cover it under warranty it was probably couple of hundred dollars with parts and labor. I will definitely not be buying a car from them. Buy it from a nearby dealer. The only reason I even bought it because the car is pretty rare and I needed a white sedan. I have changed my review 2 stars to 1 star because their bs customer service replied to this review and told me to email them which I did and they have not replied for over a month. It's pretty much putting dirt on the wound. Avoid this place. read more

My husband and I were shopping for secondary vehicle and found what we thought would be the perfect one at Patrick Cadillac. We sent an inquiry on the car sales app we found it on and were pleased with the outreach from the dealer. We requested more info and got a very thorough packet of info on it. The dealer came across as very professional and accomadating. They even sent us an email saying while we were still deciding about coming out, they sweetened the deal without us asking and lowered the price on the vehicle we were interested in. It was a very busy day for us and not the best honestly, since my husband and I both suffer from severe chronic health conditions, we had our toddler with us and I am over 8 months pregnant. The dealership also was not close or convenient for us, but how could we pass up the vehicle we wanted at an even better price than we anticipated. We didn't. We scheduled a time to come that day to check out the vehicle and headed over. We test drove the car and were pleased with the condition. We let the salesman know right away that we were ready to buy. We sat down to do paperwork and were told there was an open recall on this used vehicle and he would need to speak to his manager tomorrow to verify if they can sell us the vehicle. We agreed and also advised we'd be willing to sign any waivers etc. in regard to the recall. With a baby coming soon and maternity leave, it wasn't a big deal to buy the vehicle and let it sit until the parts for the recall were available. We wanted to put down a deposit to hold it, but were told we could not. On the way home from test driving and attempting to buy the vehicle, we got an email advising us that the price of the vehicle had just been raised $920. This seemed really unprofessional and dishonest, but we were still interested in the vehicle. We were told the next day that GM would not allow them to sell the vehicle with the open recall. I advised we were still interested in purchasing and would be open to waiting until they could sell it to us. We waited for more info and updates. While waiting I ended up speaking to GM directly and they verified that there was not any stop/sale on used vehicles with open recalls, only new vehicles. I also spoke to other GM dealers who were more than willing to sell me the same make/model/year vehicle with an open recall and verified there was no stop sale. I reached out to the salesman again with this info and asked them to verify with the manager, since there was no stop sale per GM. The salesman then told me that they could not sell the vehicle due to "new policies placed there in the store." It was clear they had no interest in selling us the vehicle they were so enthusiastic for us to come out for in the beginning. The "Patrick Promise" and all they brag about in their commercials is apparently all a big lie. Patrick was however more than happy to mistreat us, waste our time, effort, gas etc. This may be nothing to them, but was very hurtful and disappointing to us. With a baby coming in less than a month we really didn't have time to waste with a dealer playing games instead of selling us the vehicle they offered and advertised to us. I felt this review needed to be written to warn others about their unprofessional behavior and business practices.
