HONEST guys. I am taking my 2 cars with him for 6 years now. 2001 Toyota Camry and 2007 Honda Civic. He does what is "necessary" for the car. In some cases with fiduciary responsibility he does advises me to NOT spend that much money on fixing an old car. In some cases, they are a little bit expensive but that matters less. They saved me so much. I drive 20+ miles to his shop and take Uber back.If he looks at your car periodically he advises you on the driving method, and what expenses to look for. Honest guys who operate with consumer value in mind...Without comparing pennies, i recommended him to all my friends and colleagues...and they are happy too... read more

I have had several of my cars repaired at Steve's and they do an amzing job! I can not say enough about the quality of their work! They are very reasonable and efficient. read more

After my car got an accident (sigh...), I ended up driving it to this body shop. I took it here because my friend's father takes his cars there and he has never had problems. This is where I found out about how sucky European House is (see previous review). So anyways, Stasik is the car person and he is super great and does an awesome job. He can also give you good deals and does not rip you off. I had to get my whole bumper and internal work replaced (insurance covered it but it was over $2600 in damages) and he even fixed a dent in my driver side door for free! How awesome is that?!?!?! Since I don't live close to here, I doubt I will take my car back anytime soon but if you live around the Schaumburg area, take your car here! They are great and very honest. read more

Stan and Tony are my go-to guys for all my car problems. They don't play mind games or try to screw you over. Any time I have a small issue or anything I am worried about for my car, I give Stan a call and he gets the job done. Another incredible part of their service, is their pricing. They don't ever over charge me with anything. They are a hard working family owned business which is why I will always continue to go there. read more

These guys are really good. I am a girl who knows NOTHING about cars. So naturally whenever I went to a Mechanic in the past I would wait in some boring room until the mechanic threw some car words at me and gave me a bill. Here it is completely different. These guys actually involve you and educate you about your car. The guy had taught me how to look feel and listen to my car. I can honestly say I learned a lot that day! Plus he sat down with me and researched alternate ways on how to save me some money on the bill (ordering parts from a different supplier etc) So impressed! read more

I brought my car to Steve's auto shop several years ago after an accident. Stan and his team did an excellent job! He did exactly what he said that he was going to do, "take care of everything"! He assured me that I would be happy and that is an understatement! Stan and his team at Steve's auto went above and beyond. I had a great and timely service from Steve's Auto and I'd say that it's the best body shop I have dealt with in Chicago-land. Not only did the exterior look great, they detailed the interior! What a great surprise! Definitely a Five Star rating! The guys deserve highest recommendation! They treated me with kindness and did all they could to make my situation better. They even answered the phone when the shop was closed. That is what I call exceptional service! If you need an auto body shop that goes above the standard then Steve's Auto is the place for you! Outstanding!!! Nona Lisitza read more

Steve's is my go to place for PDR. They have great owners who are always there to make sure your car is being taken care of. They also have great prices on mechanical work. They get 5 stars from me! read more

I have nothing but good things to say about Steves Auto. After going through the most horrible ordeal with my insurance company, I was very pleased with the work they done because I thought my car was a gonner! When I got my car back the air was malfunctioning and about an hour later I took it back and with no questions asked or without hesitations they said "let's get this fixed" and 20 minutes later I was rolling in AC. I recommend this place and I will definitely be doing business again here! Thanks guys!! read more

We have been using services for more than 15 years. Very pleased with their work, which is always of excellent quality. Prices will pleasantly surprise you. 15 . , . . read more

I had two small dents on my car, one was 1/4 sized, the other dime sized. The dime sized one was on the rocker panel and understandably look to be difficult. the 1/4 panel one was relatively straight forward. It was a matter of removing the tail light and getting the hooks in there. From the moment i got there to get an estimate the gentlemen that escorted me to see the car seemed to have been in a bad mood, did not interact nor reply much. He seemed unwilling to take the job and quoted me $800. Now I've been a vendor manager and have delt with many hail events and pdr vendors. The price was extremely exaggerated. I suppose it was a high quote to push the customer away. I would not recommend this place based on my experience. read more

Beautiful work at a great price. Would have given 5 stars but it took almost a week longer than expected. Great job though and would certainly recommend. read more

A couple of years ago I had an accident and Steve's Auto shop was recommended by a friend. I had the best experience ever! If you are looking for a body shop with professional and timely exceptional service, Steve's Auto in Schaumburg IL is THE ONE! Your car repairs will be done in a timely, efficient and professional fashion. After my car was taken there the process went very easy and smooth. Stan and his crew made it as painless as could be. I was updated the entire way. The work they do in terms of quality is unmatched anywhere else. My car was ready when it was suppose to be and cleaned upon pickup. If you need repairs after an accident or body work to a vehicle - there is no better place than Steve's Auto Body. I always recommend them to my family and friends without hesitation! They did a wonderful job! Excellent attention to detail and great customer service! THANK YOU! Bruce.L. Northbrook, IL read more

I have been taking my cars to this shop for years, even though its a long drive for me, for both body and minor mechanical work that is beyond my ability. They do honest, excellent quality work and the price is often almost unreasonably low. They love cars and it shows in their work. I am a car nut and wouldn't leave my cars with just anyone. When I drop off the car and leave the keys here, I know everything that could have been done will be done and I sleep in peace. Highly recommended. read more

I got estimates from 3 different places to fix my dented passenger doors. This wasn't the least expensive, but they explained why their estimate was different and it made sense- I felt like the quality was going to be much better. Plus they were easy to work with, and they knew I was paying out of pocket vs. insurance so they worked with me on the price. In the end, my car was done a week earlier than promised which saved me on the rental, and my car looks great! read more

Just used Steve's for the first time and they have a customer for life. I brought in my car for what I thought was an alternator problem and they found it was a ground issue in the driver door. Weird problem but they could have easily replaced the alternator as well and I would have never known it wasn't needed. They are EXTREMELY honest and really affordable. read more

A bunch a scam artists. Got into an accident was sent here by my insurance company this place took over a month to fix my car when I finally got it back multiple things were not working such as my radio/antenna, window defrosters etc. after taking my car to my dealer to figure out what was going on they let me know Steves auto did a half-ass job they did not reconnect any wiring in the panel they had been working on and they did not seal my door properly where I had been hit which causes rust. After reviewing my estimate which I had to get from my insurance because this place told me it wasn't my business to view the paperwork of what was being done to my car LOL, I found that all this was covered however they just decided to keep the money and not do the work until I went there and talking (argued) with the owner Steve myself. He was going back and forth with me because he knew I had caught them trying to scam me and did all the work over and the right way at least I hope. I would never trust to bring my car here again after what they tried to do the first time. Steve would complain the insurance company I had wasn't paying him enough to do it the proper way and blamed me although it is his decision on which companies he works with. Beware you can't trust these guys with your car. read more

If anyone knows the area, they know that the area is littered with auto shops. I chose this one because of the reviews, and I'm glad I did. If you have any body work, don't hesitate to go to this place! I had to replace my rear bumper on my brand new car. Even though it's a simple job, I wanted it done right, not be ripped off, and fit into my busy schedule. Right off the bat, I received an unbeatable quote. I worked something out with them where they ordered the bumper, had it ready and painted just waiting for me to come for a quick installation. That was huge for me as I could still drive the car. The installation took about an hour while I was waiting in their office. I can't tell any difference in paint, and the part is OEM. Car looks great again. The whole process took about a week. That's incredible considering shipment and paint. These guys know what they're doing. read more

I have selected Steve's Auto because of good internet ratings. I got reasonable quote for repair and I was told the job will be done in little bit over a week. Finally the repair took over 4 weeks (May 24th-June 21st) but this is not an issue. Repair quality is what it's about for me not acceptable. 1. The new color and the old colors don't match. Newly painted parts are several shades lighter than old paint. 2. Steve's Auto specializes in paintless dent removal but somehow it didn't work well on my car and fixed dents looks like repaired by an amateur. 3. Rear door had white drips very difficult to remove (scraping using razor and polishing). 4. Windshield is not installed centrally (!?!). On driver side is ¼ inch gap, on a passenger side there is no gap. 5. Dashboard surface are damaged by glue or paint thinner. 6. The hood paint has some not fixable discoloration. 7. The clean-up and detailing after repair was done slapdash: a lot of white, powdery dust and residue, gummy residue on the paint surface, over-sprayed surfaces cleaned by paint thinner so damaged clear coat surface required polishing. I'm very disappointed because I was expecting quality and professional repair not a cheap job done carelessly (I will try to add pictures). read more

I took my Nissan to Steve's based on the reviews I found on Yelp. The reviews were quite accurate and I was very pleased with the work they did. Somebody ran into the front quarter panel on my Nissan and hadn't stopped to leave a note. Since I was going to have to pay for the body work out of my own pocket, I wanted to find someone who would do good work without charging me an arm and a leg. Steve's gave me an estimate that was considerably less than the other body shop I went to. They did the work for the estimated amount and had my car looking like new within a few days. Although I hope I won't need any future body work, I would be sure to recommend Steve's Auto to my friends. read more
