I brought my Kia car to them because the trunk was sticking up on one side quite a bit and thought maybe the hinge needed to be adjusted. Originally I had brought it to Kia and they said to bring it to Collision Center. In less than five minutes it was fixed and no charge. The day I dropped the car off for repair, I received a call from the owner. He informed me that, after giving it a second look with the repair professional, they would be able to perform the job differently than initially thought, it would be ready the next day, and it would cost me only 1/3 of what I was originally told and had agreed to. My white Kia Optima was rear ended and sustained a small crack in the bumper along with a black scuff mark. CCS did a great job restoring the bumper to its original condition. When we received the car we noticed that a small crack on the trunk was missed . It was so small that both my husband and I and the technicians missed it.....nevertheless CSC made the necessary calls to get the supplemental damage approved by the insurance without issue. Had an unfortunate run in with a deer that decided to play chicken on the highway right before the holiday season. They were recommended through a friend for their friendly and quick service, so of course I was surprised that A) They could help me during a busy season B) they could get my car parts in this economy and C) the time frame I was quoted left my jaw on the floor; in a good way. Upon arrival i was greeted with a eager smiling front desk assistant and one of the owners. Both gladly helped me and ran me through their process as well as had an available person to take me to the rental facility where I could get my temp vehicle. When it was time to pick up my Jeep, I arrived bright and early like a kid on Christmas morning, I was greeted by the other owner who was finishing up an amazing job on the holiday decorations and offered me a complementary beverage. Never saying no to something free I gladly had a freshly grounded and brewed piping hot coffee that would give your average barista a smile. I cannot say enough about this place. I've had the misfortune of having my car hit four times in the past year. The first three times I went to the dealer from whom I bought the car for body work. The last time I went to Collision Service Center. The difference was night and day. The work was finished exactly when they said it would be, which was a welcome change from my other experiences. Ernesto was exceedingly friendly and thorough to work with. And the girls up front, Nancy and Aurora, were not only cheerful, efficient, and helpful, but were also really knowledgeable about the repairs being made and the expectations I should have. They contacted me to let me know that the cost of my repairs was going to be slightly higher, and also contacted me when they found a way to lower my costs. In the end, I paid less than the original quote, and they took care of contacting the car rental company as well. After my first visit, I got the distinct impression that this was a family-owned business--everyone I came in contact with seemed to have pride in what they were doing. When I picked up my car, Aurora told me that it was in fact a family business, and that they knew they needed to be better than the big dealers and shops. They definitely are. He made me feel very welcome and then went over the issues with my car. He promptly gave me an estimate which was very reasonable and about less than half of another estimate I had. And 3rd they do great work at a fair reasonable rate. I came in yesterday to have some trim work done on my Chevy Tahoe and they realized they had received the wrong trim part. This is an overdue review. Around two years ago, my wife got into a car accident. The whole roof and part of the side of the truck (Honda Pilot) needed to be replaced. The repair was done by CSC and you cant even noticed what happened to this car due to a great job these people did. Then, 2 weeks ago, we got into fender bender on the same car and obviously we took car to CSC. They fixed it and the result again was great. I got into my first car accident and had to deal with a crappy insurance company, but dealing with this auto body shop made the process bearable. I probably called there everyday while my car was in their custody and the receptionist was just as sweet every time I called. They were extremely helpful and friendly. The owner was very nice too. Most importantly, the stress about "what if's" has been removed, because at Collision Service Center, the GoodWill comes 1st. I'm in the Woodfield area and for years had been using a family owned business in Hanover Park for body work. On return of my previous auto after their last work, the battery cap was missing. My calls to ask about resolution of the problem were not returned. Fortunately, although 3 weeks past its Interstate warranty, Firestone provided a new battery. That car has been replaced by a new 2015 that has been collecting mishaps and rather than have it age into looking like a jalopy, I decided to get some work done. Having the garage door frame pull the cover off a side mirror helped in deciding to do it now. All the costs for repair of my collected concerns are under the deductible, so these would be out-of pocket costs. I went to YELP to check reviews and found the 9 (now 10) - 5 star ratings for Collision Service Center, and it being near to home, I headed out for them. 1st meeting Nancy, she attentively took the needed information, and seeing that I had the housing for the side mirror, she went to the car to attempt to reattach it. When the parts were not cooperating, she called on Joe. No problem, he was able to immediately attach it, no charge ~ CAN YOU BELIEVE? We then reviewed my other concerns, including a dent with a deeply gorged scratch obtained from an inconsiderate Costco shopper. Joe shared with me my options, from the customary costly fix of removing the door and its trim to paint, to simply applying touchup paint to lessen the noticibility, and who can touch it up better, and why. Don't you love having the options presented to you? I sure do, and due to the neighborly fixit contributions of Joe and Nancy, and our discusstion of options, Collision Service Center will be my GOTO. read more

By far one of the BEST customer service experiences I've had in a VERY long time. Both Joe (owner) and Nancy (Front Office) were exceptional. I stopped by this shop based on Yelp reviews for an estimate. I was paying out of pocket (versus going through insurance) and Joe explained in detail what he could do to keep the cost down. And, without asking, he lowered the quote once I made the appointment. When I picked up my car it was spotless and I found a handwritten thank you note in my car when I drove away.
