We were over the top impressed with Carlos and his team from the time of estimate to the delivery of our car. The car was extra clean and they gave us a nice folder to keep our paperwork in. I can't say enough. Thanks Carlos read more

My van was recently rear-ended. While not a serious accident, I was dreading the endless inconvenience that usually goes hand in hand with this. In the past I have taken my vehicles to Auto Collision Rebuilders (ACR) and been very satisfied with their work. However, this visit was exceptionally satisfying. Juan is extremely helpful in guiding customers through what to expect from ACR and educating them on how to work well with insurance companies and car rental businesses. And, I was thrilled when my vehicle was ready BEFORE the estimated completion date. I can honestly say that I am thankful for this accident as I was also able to meet Wrigley, the sweetest, gentlest bulldog on the planet who hangs out in the office area. Wrigley even gave me a kiss goodbye when I picked up my van. Lucky me! read more

So a year after I took my car to ACR for repairs from my accident in May 2012... I noticed on the hood of my car that the paint had been bubbling and peeling, as well as, rusting! Since I have a life time guarantee for the time I own the car, I took it back to see what they can do, My husband arrived and spoke with Carols. We thought we'd get push back at brining the car in for rust and paint issues (since that can be seen as normal ware and tare). However, my husband said they did not even argue it! My husband said the " Carlos was awesome". Carols told my husband the whole hood needed to be replaced. My insurance only approved a used hood after the accident. Which is supposedly normal on repairs like this, the only time insurance will approve new parts if the car has 15,000 miles or less. With all that being said, the soonest Carols could get a Honda hood to the shop would be August 18... Here's our dilemma, I'm moving to California August 6. SOOOO Carols was awesome, working effortless to track down a hood. The draw back is (BUT NOT TO CARLOS FAULT!) He could only get his hands on an after market hood...which he reassured my husband the only way it's known to be an aftermarket hood is that under it, it won't say Honda but another name. SOME people might be pissed at that, but I couldn't push back my travels to California and PLUS I've already come to terms I'm driving my car till it dies because it's very difficult to get a good payout once the car has been in an accident! We had to wait a day for the hood to come in and as we speak (write), they are working on it. He said at latest it will be done Saturday (3 day turn around). I CANNOT COMPLAIN since we brought it in Tuesday! SO ONCE AGAIN NOT DISAPPOINTED with ACR and pleasantly pleased with their no hassle, amazing customer service! The only disappointment will be they can't come to California with me!! Keep up the outstanding work! read more

I was in an accident that decimated the front driver's side of my Nissan Rogue. I'm sure it was a lot worse than what they usually see here, but Carlos was transparent in explaining the estimate he gave me. He went above and beyond to wait with me--almost an hour!--as we tried to contact my insurance company. My repair was delayed by over a week because of communication problems with the insurance company but both Carlos and Rebecca, the receptionist, were very reassuring and patient whenever I called. Rebecca even went out to look for my tire replacement! The service was excellent. You and your car will be well taken care of with this team. read more

Carlos and team did a fantastic job fixing my car after a hit and run driver messed up the front of my new car. The process was professional and smooth from quote to finish. They took the time needed to get the job done right. I highly recommend! read more

Works with State Farm, quality repairs, warranties work. Used twice now, happy with results.

Damaged my suv during one of Chicago snow storms. Took it to Auto Collision Rebuilders and a national chain for an estimate. Auto Collision Rebuilders had the best price. I dropped my suv for repair and I can honestly say that the interior was a total disaster. Two young kids and you can easily imagine the type of mess they can create. When I got the suv back a week later, not only was the damaged repaired perfectly, but they totally cleaned the inside of the suv! Talk about service! They take care of you. Will definitely go back to them for any future body work. read more

There is only one word that can describe the work of Carlos and his team, and that word is perfection. The first time I went to Carlos was when someone backed into my car and damaged a large part of the front end. It was fixed perfectly. Color matched with the rest of the car. I have been there a couple of times again for a scratch or two. And as always....... Perfect. read more

This place is a hidden GEM! I drive by a TON of collision repair shops to get here and I do it with a smile on my face! Carlos and his team do excellent work. During my first visit in, I asked a lot of questions about how my vehicle was going to be fixed. Not only did Carlos explain everything to me, but he proudly took me into the shop area and showed me all of the tools and equipment that would be used to fix my vehicle. I could tell that this business owner makes sure that his customers have the very best repairs done their vehicles. I wouldn't hesitate taking my vehicles here anytime I need work done! Thanks, Carlos! read more

i just had my car repaired here after a city of chicago truck hit me. Carlos, my estimator, was so nice and reassuring. Allstate had recommended this place and you never know what you get when an insurance company recommends a body shop (in my past experience) but WOW do they do nice work!!!!!!!!! The car was ready when they said it would be and everyone was so nice and my car looks BRAND NEW again. I'd highly recommend them!!!! read more

Generally, body shops are not a place you want to find yourself. I selected ACR after reading the great yelp reviews, and now I have my own to add! I was hit by an armored truck which caused a bunch of damage to my minivan's rear bumper and door, taillight, and an annoying exhaust rattle. Carlos himself put together my estimate, which happened to be mid-way between the three I got altogether. I felt he fairly captured all the possibilities especially since the exhaust was a bit of an enigma, and he was the only one who actually took the time to put the van up on a lift to see what might be going on with the exhaust rattle. Those five extra minutes he took won him the business. I should add that I'm 38 1/2 weeks pregnant, so he understood I had some urgency to get this repair done before I delivered my baby. I really felt like he took special care of me. When I called a week after getting the initial estimate to get going, he was ready for me when I asked him to be - he ordered the parts, and everything was ready to go on the day we planned. We planned on a 4-day work timeframe, and they coordinated a minivan rental for me which was really convenient (did I mention, 38 1/2 weeks pregnant??). He even transferred my kids' car seats from my minivan into the rental van for me! Imagine my surprise when he called me the very next afternoon to tell me my van was ready! So basically, a rear-end bumper, door, taillight, exhaust clamp, and all the paint and bodywork took a total of about 36 hours, out the door. He came in right at his estimate on the final bill. Every body shop should be this awesome. I really hope I am never in another accident but I know where I will go next time. Thanks, to Carlos and your staff! read more

Very reliable and faster than I expected to fix my jeep, work was top notch and very satisfied with turn out, will use for my tires and anything else I need for my car. Would highly recommend read more

Unfortunately I have been involved in a couple of accidents over the years, the most recent one was in February of 2018. It is never enjoyable to to get into an accident but when you do it's nice to know of a repair shop that you feel you can trust to do a quality job and treat you with respect. Carlos / Cassandre and the the rest of the ACR team are top notch and make the whole process as smooth as possible. I hope I never get in another accident but if I do they will be my 1st stop. read more

Just 2 months after getting my brand spankin' new Nissan Altima, I got rear ended. Suffice it to say...I was a bit upset. I'm a USAA customer and had good dealings with Gerber in Palatine and was going to have my car repaired there again. I'm decided to check on the Web to look for another estimate and I saw that Nissan has a network of certified body shops across the country and noticed ACR on the list. Having the Nissan certification really caught my eye and I made my appointment directly after my appointment with Gerber. The guy at Gerber strangely offered that he was new there and just needed a few extra minutes compiling the paperwork. Anyway, after looking at the car..the new guy estimated what I thought was a low amount. 10 minutes later, I meet Carlos at ACR and about 10 minutes after looking at the car not only was the estimate more, but he found damage that the other guy didn't see!! I was sold after that and set up repairs right then and there! Brought the car in on Tuesday morning and got it back Saturday afternoon. The communication and follow up were outstanding. The quality of the work...superior! Even though ACR does not have a direct relationship with USAA, my future body repair needs are going to ACR without hesitation and all my referrals as well. Carlos and his crew knocked it out of the park! Thanks ACR! Brought the car back in to ACR to have a couple clips replaced that had been dislodge due to this brutal weather. 15 minutes later...all done and out the door! read more

I recently had my SUV in for repair after being rear ended, which is never a pleasant experience. Dan, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure that the entire process was as seamless as possible. He dealt with the other guy's insurance from start to finish, worked with us on dates and ordering parts so we would be without our car for as short of a time as possible, and completely delivered on my car. It looks brand new, which was especially important to me considering it was only a month old when it got hit. I hope I am never in an accident again, but I know if I am I will be taking my car back to ACR. I couldn't be happier with the service and product. read more
