You call for a day and then drop the car the night before or show up in the morning and check in. They verified the oil change and asked if I needed additional service. I asked them to take a look and let me know as I didn't think it did. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. The service was very affordable and the quality and care they put into their work is tremendous. When they called to inform me my car was ready, they validated that no other work needed to be done. But if I wanted to 30K service I could. I decided to pass and doing it next month. They didn't push the services and to call them for an appointment when ready. That being said, I'm generally wary of folks trying to unnecessarily up sell me. Nick and the other man working on my car (forgot his name) took the time to explain why certain services were needed (mainly transmission fluid flush). I was pleased that they explained everything clearly without assuming they needed to "dumb it down" like I've experienced at other shops. I'll admit Jiffy Lube charges a little more for their oil change service, but it's not unreasonable and they usually have coupons available on their website. In all honesty, I trust their work, enjoyed their company, and I like having my car vacuumed out and windows cleaned as part of the service. If I weren't moving out of state, this would be my new go-to shop. I had fun chatting with everyone on staff. They all have a great sense of humor.

When I left, my pressure was 52 psi and my sticker states it should be 38 psi. I called to let them know and the manager told me the electronics are my car were wrong. He then proceeded to tell me he could prove it to me and argued with me. This is very OFFENSIVE. I used two other pressure gages to check once I made it home, one that I use for my race car, and they indicated the same pressure 52 psi. I will never go back here and I suggest that if you go, you pay close attention to what is done so it doesn't become a safety issue. It is dangerous to have such inflated pressure in your tires. And it is very bad for you tires too!

They had done a tire rotation and when I returned to let them know about the light, I was treated like garbage. All the men that work there are rude AF. They seemed annoyed I returned. Jiffy lube told me to take my car to a tire shop. Anyways Dakota informed me that it could be the sensor, tire slowly losing pressure and talked to me in detail about how to proceed as my car is 12 years old. They also told me how I can save money & the costs of replacing the sensor, labor & were sooooo kind!! I asked if they could help drill my side bumper as well which they said they could do. They don't do full body work. This is close to my home which is another convenience. They have the sweetest quotes on their billboard by the entrance.

I was able to get my car towed to Casey's the following Monday (we used D&R Towing at the recommendation of the shop, and that was a great experience in and of itself, I left them a good review too. Thanks, Rich!) and my car was assessed the next day despite being told Wednesday-late Thursday was the soonest. I was in a pinch working an hour from home and needing the car back before noon today, but the crew got it in and sorted and had it back to me just shy of two days later! The price was as-quoted, no surprise fees or "other" issues that arose between my phone calls and arriving to pick the car up. I was also advised of some preventive maintenance to be done on my next oil change, but was told I can wait until then for that. I remember seeing my social media flooded with dozens of car detailing businesses. I filled out automated forms to receive quotes. Tom Waltzman of DPS Automotive was probably the only 1 out of 20 that actually responded to my return questions with an actual direct text (not a robot/auto-response). He expertly answered all my questions in an open and honest manner. He even invited me to his shop for additional consulting in case I had any doubts. I took him up on that offer and came away impressed. The shop was clean, organized and very professional. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I had a great feeling that if I decided to go with them, my car would be in good hands. They also happened to be running a summer pricing special so I was able to get full car PPF, full ceramic coating, and window tints all for decent discount compared to purchasing each item a la carte at its normal price. My car was in their shop for about 5 business days. They posted their progress on their instgram account and it was great to see those updates. When I picked up my car, it looked beautiful (we went with a satin/matte black PPF finish, 35% tint). They really went above and beyond to tuck in the PPF where they could and line it up seamlessly where they couldn't. I was very happy with the QUALITY of their work. In the Chicagoland area, there's probably dozens upon dozens of car detail shops that provide similar services. In my opinion, what sets DPS apart from all of the other shops is their attention to their clients and their attention to details (no pun intended) and it shows in the great quality of their work. I am beyond satisfied I chose DPS to assist me with my investment in my vehicle.

I initially emailed them to get info on the cost and timing, they consistently replied within a few hours and were very helpful. They got me in within the next few days. Their showroom is really organized and clean. I got a tour of the back garage area, which was way bigger than you'd expect from seeing the front of the building. They had a lot of high end cars getting work done, ranging from full vehicle wraps and audio installs. The work completed worked properly and was a very clean install. They left my vehicle very clean and gave me all the original packaging and instructions. I had a great experience with DPS and plan to bring other vehicles there when I need any work done.
