I had call to schedule my car for repair- the receptionist that took my call at 4pm was so rude- I somehow misunderstood the scheduled drop off- when I spoke to Dean earlier- instead of explaining it nicely she was so abrupt and rude- she said that they are booking out through the 16th of November- and when I asked when can I have my car dropped off- the receptionist said "like I said it would be the 16th" how would I know that would the earliest I can drop off my car- I am calling my insurance and changing the shop I chose and definitely letting them know of the negative experience there! Deem Zahir was very professional and great to work with. He looked at my vehicle and found a big scratch in it that my husband didn't see. He decided to bring it into the shop, clean it a little bit and look at it better found a dent in it. I loved how I didn't have to talk to the insurance company. They went above and beyond and vacuumed out my mini van. I have a wonderful experience with them as they were honest and upfront with everything. read more

The reason we post here is too recognize business who excel in customer satisfaction. My 2015 Buick was involved in a hit and run 2 months ago. After taking to Kyle I left my encore with him. Heavy damage to drivers side passenger door, rear quarter panel and bumper. Today she was returned to me or shall I say it was delivered to my home unexpected from Total Collision. THIS WAS ICING ON THE CAKE. They not only did they do a fantastic job on repair where you would never know what heavy damaged occurred even if you reviewed pre accident pictures to post pictures. Sadly we never want to be involved in a accident from someone's else's reckless driving habits but the service and fix they provided compliments there name TOTAL COLLISION and PDR I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BODY SHO read more

This is easily your best option in the area. Incredible service, communication and overall project delivery. I was astonished at how great their work turned out. They even added additional services at no extra charge. I really can't say enough about them. Their quote and price were fair, it would be worth it to use them even if you found a lower quote elsewhere. They are that good. read more

*I rate 1 star when my service was that terrible. I'm glad they fixed the dents on my hood but all that work goes out the window when you mess up my alignment. The mechanic at VW said my car was dropped the frame was bent which is why you could not align it. Instead of admitting to what you did instead you choose to blame it on another body shop who actually took photos of their work and emailed me a copy of their alignment specs that show my car was aligned when it left their shop. Nice try.. They had my car for 2.5 weeks. 2 weeks in they call me saying they won't release my vehicle to me due to the back wheel alignment, I was having my car repaired in the front so how did the back get messed up? No answers.. no photos.. they hand me a bs report from firestone saying my car passed the alignment test. I drove straight to a VW dealership and my car FAILED. I could have been seriously injured. Don't go here they will drop your car and then lie to your face. read more

I have been in many car issues/accidents to date (unfortunately and typically not at fault), so I have experience in working with auto shops. Total Collision has been by far the best experience I've had so far. They are super professional, their waiting room is nice/new, and had all of our problems resolved. Highly recommended as they are knowledgeable and answers your questions Best, Eric read more

I don't recommend this place at all. I received a very bad service from this workshop. My car was in that place for more than 6 months and I had to pick it up without some of the parts. In that place they don't take care of your car. If you are looking for a place to do a good job and quickly, don't go to this place. read more

I came in for what I thought was an estimate but Rob said he had time to do the PDR work now. I had a dent on the driver door that I saw every single time I went to open it. The crew there is top notch. Fixed both doors and it looks as if it never happened. The price was very fair and the staff is all-around great. I would recommend this place to anyone for PDR (paintless dent repair). A huge thanks to everyone who made my car get back to normal without gouging me! 10/10 read more

Professionalism at its FINEST! Easy process from beginning to end. I was the victim of a hit and run and took my car here. Felt like all I did was hand the manager Ivan the keys, and he took care of the rest. Got my car back looking brand new! Great crew they have here. read more

I had a few dents on my doors including one that was pretty difficult to repair. I went to this place because of their great yelp reviews. Ryan the owner gave me a very fair price and got my car into the shop in couple of days. The repairs were perfect, exceeding my expectations for PDR. Overall a great experience and I would very much recommend them. read more

The best body shop in the Chicago area. I took my SUV there for body work and they were not cheapest but based on their explanation, I trusted them. I'm glad I did. They did a great job and my car is looking brand new. Even things not related to the accident were taken care of. read more

The facility is clean an near a train line, which is good. The actual PDR (dent-removal) work is actually very good; they have a good PDR man. The people who work at the shop, however, cannot drive manual transmission. Do not come here if your car is a manual. If you must, have a staff member demonstrate their ability to do so. My own vehicle had its shift linkage badly damaged when the vehicle was moved around by one of their staff members when it was in for hail repair. Upon picking up my vehicle, a porter stated "hard to put into reverse, huh?" I stated "I've never had an issue; the shifter is fine." I put the car in reverse gear, and it flew forward. The gearbox had become damaged as it was apparent a staff member had pushed-down too hard on the shifter and severed the reverse lock-out and linkage. Naturally, no one called me beforehad to say my car wasn't driveable, nor even told management that it was damaged. I showed management; of course I'd be accused of damaging my own "old" car. I had to enforce that there would have been no way of me being able to drive the car at all with an uncoupled shift linkage, and that only someone without any knowledge of driving a manual transmission could replicate such damage. Fortunately, management eventually agreed that the damage occurred under their watch, and had it towed to the VW dealer in Schaumburg. Who took almost 2 weeks to repair the car because I'm not a "customer," and the repair was being done on behalf of a shop and my clean, (now) hail dent-free classic VW got filthy sitting around for its "free" repair. The dealer management at one point even told me to call "the body shop for updates because you're not a customer" - sorry buddy, but it's my property in my name. Lesson learned: always ask a facility if they can operate a manual transmission before working on your standard car. Just merely stating it's a manual to the front desk isn't enough to prevent damage by incompetent staff. read more

Asphalt hit the side of my car like a cannon while driving on 290. Big nasty dent with gouges into the metal. Less than 2000 miles on the vehicle. The guys at Total Collision fixed the damage completely. Looks like it never happened. Amazing work. Would HIGHLY recommend. read more

I had my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for PDR work last year. I was so impressed with their professionalism and quality of work and told myself (and them) that should I ever need any work done to my truck, I was coming back here to have it done. Less than a month ago, my vehicle was damaged in a hit and run parking lot incident. I told my insurance company that I had a shop in mind for repairs and was not interested in their preferred shops. I came back to Total Collision. I'm here to say that I again couldn't be more pleased with the work they performed on my damaged front end. Not only were the repairs (and another unrelated PDR fix) done flawlessly, they ensured I got my car back looking brand new! Special thanks to Yana, the shop office manager, for ensuring everything went as smooth as possible with drop off and delivery process, especially given the Corona virus situation we all had to navigate through. As a customer, all we can hope for when dealing with body shops, is quality work, fair prices and good customer service. This shop fits the bill in all aspects. Thanks! read more

I went to Dentway PDR in Arlington Heights and Carnica in Des Plaines before finding Total Collision... Both places told me how hard my dent would be to repair and gave insane dollar figures for repair. Ryan at Total Collision took one look and confidently quoted me a cost and time to repair. He was spot on and not to mention - a friendly dude! Just got the work done and couldn't be happier. Plus... Total Collision was 1/4 the cost of Dentway and Carnica! Go here first! read more

Strong rating for these guys. I brought in my car after some damage to the driver side headlights and there was a lengthy insurance process. Not their fault though. Kyle at the front desk is pretty reasonable and it seems like he cares about his job. I had a crease in my door and took it to Total PDR. Yana runs the front office and she knows her cars....but she also is sooo accommodating and customer friendly. She gave me a fantastic price and I came back the next day for my appointment. I said I could wait for my car and sat down. She offered water and some sweet treats they had at the counter. I was then very impressed when she said , hey if you want to run some errands you can take the courtesy car for a few hours. WOW. Outside of the awesome repair to perfection that the guys did on all my cars, what really sold me on this place was they all go over and above. And that girl really takes pride in that business and I'm happy to be treated like a valued customer. I'm sure I'll be dinged and dented again, but next time, I'm bringing the donuts. Thanks TOTAL ! Thanks YANA ! Fletch read more

Such a great experience! They were on top of everything! I got my car back in better shape than when I very first purchased it brand new last year. It runs better, it looks better, there's not enough good things to say about this business. How great that they provide courtesy cars if needed, and enterprise is right around the corner. They pick up and drop off at the body shop. Everything was such a convenience. Very very happy I chose this body shop to fix my car. Five stars over and over again! read more

Total Collision responded quickly to a Yelp Quote request and answered a lot of my questions all the while providing a very reasonable quote. The price quoted was the same regardless if I went to them or they came to me. Took advantage of their mobility and had the work done while I was working. They called with a 30 minute heads up that they were on their way. They arrived on time and I gave them access to my car. Less than 20 minutes later the dent was no longer visible and the hood looks great. The technician was professional and allowed me to ask questions and watch. He was delicate with my car and didn't appear to "rush" to get the job done. The hood is made of aluminum and not as easy to work with as a steel would be. For the price, their ability to come to you and the work they did, there's no way I could give them less than 5 stars!! read more

So happy I chose Total Collision! I had reached out to Total Collision and several other shops to get a quote for damage on my car door due to a car accident I was in. The owner, Ryan, was by far the most insightful and most eager to help! I brought my car the same day and Juan had looked it over. He was extremely kind and made it very evident that this shop put their customers first. Ryan even followed up a few days later to see if there was anything they could do to help. That's when I knew they were the place for me. When my car was in the shop, Yana called throughout the week and kept me up-to-date on everything. I really appreciated that. Once my car was ready, Ryan notified me and sent pictures of the results. It looked brand new! They waxed and polished the exterior and cleaned the interior as well. They did a fantastic job of fixing my car door. From start to finish, Total Collision went above and beyond. I highly recommend this place! Definitely have a customer for life. read more

I reached out to Total Collision & PDR to enquire about a paintless dent repair on my passenger side rear door. Most companies I reached out to said the job couldn't be done using PDR, or quoted a number that "seemed" out of range, at least to my expectations. Total Collision & PDR came to my home (incredibly convenient) and said they could likely repair (and quoted fairly), but would need to have the car in the shop to facilitate the repair as the inside door panel would have to be removed, etc. Once bringing the car to the shop, after taking a closer look, it was clear that the job couldn't be completed using PDR. Given that most wouldn't even bother trying, this is a completely legitimate assessment, and as such, provided me a quote to conduct a traditional repair and/or combination of the two. I was getting ready to cringe upon asking the cost and was pleasantly surprised the by the quote provided and the incremental cost as compared to PDR only. Serge and his team did a fantastic job on my vehicle. The shop is spotless (which says a lot for a collision shop), well run, and highly recommended. Need a repair that won't put a "dent" in your wallet? Give Total Collision & Repair a visit. You won't regret it. read more
