Parkside was recommended to me for some body work on my newer car. I had 3 scratches on the hood of my car, with one being about 12 inches long. I spoke with Tim at Parkside and he advised me it would be no problem to fix. Tim was professional, friendly and reassuring that he would be able to take care of it in a couple of hours. His price was very reasonable and the work was outstanding. The hood looks like new! Thanks for a great job Tim. It was refreshing to encounter a real pro at his work. I highly recommend this body shop. read more

Contacted the Shop to schedule an inspection. Spoke to a very RUDE older lady who was not very helpful when asked how late is the shop open. I even mentioned that I was referred by my mechanic next door. She was not very helpful and super RUDE. This might a good place to get your car service but not employee like her. Took my business to Gerber and Caliber Collision instead. read more

Our experience was top rate, I've brought in my Ford Fusion a couple of times for rust & paint chipping. Not many shops can do this type of work, these guys are amazing. Thanks Tim read more

This place is great! Have had a couple of experiences with them and both have been great. Tim was quick to respond and made what I thought would be a stressful situation stress free. Pricing was reasonable, work was good and delivered as promised. I would definitely use them again (hopefully not too soon though). Highly recommend read more

Just had (yet another) one of our cars in for body work and, as always, they did a fantastic job. Price was as estimated, and work completed a day sooner than expected. Parkside's paint matching is absolutely superb; had numerous repairs done over the years to various cars and could never once tell the new paint from the existing. Tim and his crew are great. read more

Love Parkside! Tim is straightforward, honest and priced very fairly. He fixed my dented grille, saving me hundreds, and it looks new! He's very good getting scratches out, too. read more

Very happy with the work we got completed on our service vehicle. We explained the tight timeframe we needed, and booked our appointment well in advance, and they completed the work on time and exactly as quoted. Very appreciative they did exactly as they said - this is not the case at every shop. Thank you so much! read more

Willing to help with even minor damage and adjustments. Very fair labor rates and quality workmanship.

I would give this business more than 5 stars if I could! Excellent work, completed promptly, and at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Parkside Auto Body! You will not be disappointed. read more

Excellent repair shop, they are honest and trustworthy, did an excellent job on my car and were easy to work with. Exactly the price I was quoted and finished on time. Highly recommend! read more

We took our Jeep Grand Cherokee in for some parking lot dent work and inquired about fixing some road paint dings on the front bumper. The owner thought it would be a waste of money unless we were ready to sell and we are not, as it is only a year old. We have used Parkside in the past when we lived in Arlington and we were always pleased! Today I picked up my car and as I looked at it in the parking lot I could those dings were gone and the job was perfect! I inquired about the dings as I paid the bill and the owner said, oh I had time and I just fixed the for you... no charge! That really says who they are. Thank you Parkside... !!!! read more

Brought our 1974 Javelin to Parkside for full body work restoration. The work they put into our car was topnotch. We are so very happy with the outcome. Tim and Miguel were great to work with. I would highly recommend PARKSIDE AUTO! They are definitely the best! read more

Honest and transparent, beyond fair with pricing, had the opportunity to up charge me but was honest with me instead. I was quoted up to $2,200 from other shops but this lovely business got my problem handled for $100! I would recommend folks drive past auto shops to get to this one. read more

They are terrific! Fixed my pothole damage and gave the best price $200 lower than their big name competitor. I highly recommend Parkside Auto for their fast service and honest estimates. read more

I had some rust on the bottom of my left front door and I was dreading the process to get it fixed. I stopped by Parkside auto body and they immediately gave me a quote to get it fixed. I dropped the car off the next day and they began working on it right away and by noon the next day it was completely done. My door now looks like it's brand new! It was such an easy process. I would highly recommend Parkside auto body. read more

Have used Parkside for years. Nice people who do great work at a fair price. Most recent project they gave me great advice how to keep my cars looking great. I will use them every time. I use Yelp to tell me who I can trust and these folks fit that description. read more

My wife came here to estimate the damage of her car. They said they can do it 2 months from like or second week of February 2019 and they will call my wife. My wife called them yesterday and a lady said that my wife's appointment is March 06. What is that?! My wife waited for two months! And they gonna move again? They won't have our business anymore for sure! There are a lot of honest shops out there!.. read more

Tim is awesome - I am assuming he owns the place and he works directly with all of the customers. He gives you an estimate right on the spot (unless it requires the car to be taken apart to seek more damage) and he tells you when his next opening is to drop of the car and when it will be done. The work was flawless and not as expensive as some of the other places I took it. They don't do any marketing or advertising and they don't work directly with any insurance companies (although you can still get your car fixed there under insurance). They go off of word of mouth and repeat business and let me tell you, business is good over there. The reason being, they are really good at what they do. \ read more

Awesome work, professionally done . A bit of a waiting time; that's because they are so good. Vehicle looks better than it did when I first got it . You will not be sorry, ask for Tim. Do not use the receptionist as first impression, she's a tad unfriendly and not helpful. Ask for Tim, he's awesome. Will give you a free estimate on the spot, and I can guarantee you will not be sorry you went to Parkside. . read more

I asked my usual mechanic if they know someone who can fix a collision on my car and they said they recommend this body shop which is literally across the street from them...so I went to get an estimate which was a reasonable price so I had them work on it...I also had them work on a small rust spot and a couple days later...it looks like brand new...the customer service is great there especially Tim who fixed my car and did a great job. TL;DR I highly recommend this place and look for Tim he will fix your car to perfection read more

As always, Tim and Parkside did a fabulous job--on time, fairly priced and results like brand new. Parkside never fails to deliver. THANKS!

Outstanding! High quality work and great people. No reason to even consider another body shop. Go to Parkside! This is the third time I have used Parkside and they do great work. read more

An accident completely ripped off the front bumper, damaged the radiator, and cause one of the doors to bind. They fixed the car in about a week, and it looked brand new. They were very friendly, not intimidating, and did an awesome job. They were also very knowledgeable about insurance - we simply paid our $500 deductible and they did all the work with the insurance company, including working with them to arrange additional payment when the damage turned out to be more than the insurance company's initial estimate. read more

Based on reviews, I first went to A & L in Palatine, then to get a second estimate, I again read the Yelp reviews for auto body repair and chose to go to Parkside for my second estimate. Parksides estimate was $2,000.00 less than A&L's and Tim was attentive and responsive to my needs and requests for the best auto repair experience! I rate Parkside with 5 stars! From start to finish, all employees at Parkside had my needs and my car's repair needs in their best interest! No matter who I spoke to at Parkside, they were instantly respectful and responsive to my needs! Will not go anywhere else again! They have earned my trust and that is a priceless thing!! read more

I highly recommend Parkside. We have used them twice and both times were an excellent experience. On time at the stated cost and friendly. A diamond among the coal. read more

I first could not believe all these good reviews but I thought I would give Parkside a try. I normally don't write reviews unless I am just blown away and this is one of those times. Brought the car in after an decent accident and they did a excellent job. IT was done on time, car was cleaned, and the price was very fair. What else can you ask for. You just don't find people like Tim. He is just simply gets it and is very honest spending the time that is needed so you understand everything. He goes out of his way to do what is best. You have to schedule the repair and that is because they are GOOD and booked up. To find an operation in the auto body business that has it figured it out like Tim, is like finding a unicorn. read more

On July 3rd the car that we love was rear ended. We called our favorite mechanic for recommendation of a body shop, and he recommended Parkside. I asked if they had a second choice if they were delayed in working with us. He said, "there is no second choice. These guys are the best." He was right. From beginning to end this place treated us like you'd hope every business would treat you. From letting us see the work throughout the course of the 5 weeks of work, to the emailing us pictures during the final steps, this place provides some of the best customer service I've experienced. Of course none of this would really matter if the end result wasn't perfect... but of course it was. The car looks and drives great. I would highly recommend this shop if you need body work done on your vehicle. And my mechanic is right... there is no second choice. And as everyone says, ask for Tim. read more

So glad I did my research and found Parkside! Tim is great! Brought my car here after a collision w/ a guy that blew a red light. I have a new 2015 Acura and Tim did a great job! He was honest with the lead time and everything else. Hopefully I will not need to have work done in the future but if I do or if anyone else I know does, I will definitely direct them here. read more

Parkside is a wonderful place for your car repairs. I found them to be honest and fair with their prices. The work they did on my 2002 Honda Accord was perfect. However, they are very busy (because they're so good) so their lead time is about 4-5 weeks. Look no further than Parkside, Tim will treat you right. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again. read more

Parkside auto is the place you should go when you have to get your body work done! The owner is awesome! They do such a great job fixing your car! read more

I would highly recommend Parkside for their competitive prices, great service and attention to detail. I worked with Tim and he was very friendly and honest. I had a rear bumper damaged and got a quick estimate. His estimate was the lowest among 3 and hence I decided to go with Parkside. The job was completed on time and as per the estimate and I left a very satisfied customer. read more

Having no experience at body shops in the area, I was worried about going to a place that I didn't know anything about. But when I got into an accident last year, I went to Parkside. They did a great job on my car and their pricing was more than fair. They did such a great job and were such a pleasure to deal with that I went back again for a more minor job. They reminded me why I am now a loyal customer. Tim and the rest of the folks at Parkside are all wonderful. I highly recommend them. read more

My wife had driven our brand new 2016 Honda Pilot against a pillar and scratched up the rear driver side door. Being the guy that likes to try to DIY and save a buck, I was able to wet sand and buff out most of the scratches myself but I wasn't able to get the sand smudges out of the paint. I went to Parkside Auto Body, and they buffed out my shotty wet sand job on the spot in 5 minutes and did it for Free! I insisted on paying something but the owner refused payment for such a small job. Wish I took his name down, so I could personally thank him on here. Amazing customer experience. I also got a very reasonable quote for some other bodywork I was thinking about doing as well. Definitely recommend Parkside Auto Body if you're looking for good honest quality work at a reasonable price. I will definitely come back! read more

I was looking for a local body shop (shop local/ buy local) for some needed body work and paint and found Parkside (apparently, they don't advertise, but work on referrals and insurance work). I brought my Police Edition (auction-bought) Tahoe to them to spray the doors (black) in order to match the rest of the vehicle as well as to fix and repaint the front bumper (hacked up from decal removal). Tim gave me a fair estimate and told me the job would take 4 days start to finish and that they had an appointment available about 4 weeks out. The alternative was to leave the vehicle with them and it would be worked on "between jobs". Well, I chose the latter and left my vehicle with them. Within the next 2 weeks, I received a call that the truck was completed and that I could come settle up and pick it up. It turned out GREAT! The color and finish match were perfect and you cannot tell that it was resprayed. (They did the job right and took the doors apart in lieu of taping everything off) The result is a factory-fresh looking paint job and a satisfied customer. I would definitely recommend this shop for auto body repair and will not hesitate going to them in the future. read more

Unfortunately (I only say that because it means our cars have been hit), we've used Parkside for years. They are friendly, honest and reasonable. Oh yeah, their work is terrific. We recommend them to everyone, and they all say the same thing. read more

We have been using this place for years, even after moving to Wisconsin we still bring our cars there because I know they will be fixed right! We even have several friends who go out of there way to go there because they do such a good job! From simple chips to collision repairs, these guys are the best hands down! If something hasn't been quite right after a major repair they have always made good on it! I plan on taking my '88 Monte Carlo SS there for a full restoration at some point! I would not hesitate on recommending this body shop to anyone! read more

I took my car to several body shops in the area for an estimate before deciding what to do about a scrape and denting of my rear quarter panel. The estimates I received were all over the board. Tim at Parkside gave me what I felt was a very fair estimate and explained how he would do the repair. I made an appointment with Michelle in the office and when I showed up on that date she had my file ready and waiting. Tim told me it would be a 2 day job and he called me on the afternoon of the 2nd day to say it was finished. The job was great! What more can you ask for! read more

I needed to get a bent door frame fixed and decided to bring it to Parkside after reading some of the reviews. I got an estimate on the spot and decided to bring it in to have it fixed. The work was done quickly and very inexpensively. I would definitely use this body shop again. read more

I had a Toyota Camry that got into a rear ended collision and my rear bumper cover broke. Tim in the park side auto shop was an excellent person who patiently answered all my questions and was customer centric and straight forward (no sales pitch as well). I got my car today and it looks like a new car. The amount they charged is also very reasonable compared to few other body shops I had inquired. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends. read more

I had trouble with the passenger window after my care was broken into.. Another auto shop in Arlington Heights told me they would need to replace the entire door - the bill was going to be VERY EXPENSIVE over $2000. They assured me they could not just repair the window and trim. We're talking over $2000. I told it to Parkside. They repaired it to look good as new for less then $48. The really sad thing is State Farm gave me the first companies number. Makes you wonder about kickback. read more
