This is a sad review to write…read more Yes, Scott the owner is great to work with. That's refreshing and worth stars right off the bat. However, the quality of the work is just not up to a high enough standard IMHO. I don't expect concours-level work of course, but I also don't expect to receive a job that has easily spotted defects in the paint, excess compound visible on plastic parts, and body work improperly attached. I know it's hard to find good help these days, and the results of the work done on my vehicle prove it. The one thing most ordinary people get picky about is a paint job on a car so you'd think extreme attention to detail at a body and paint shop would be top priority right? Maybe they need better lighting? Of course I brought it back and Scott addressed the easily visible issues for the most part, but quite frankly a total repaint is really what's required. Scott told me to let him know if I spot anything more and he'll handle it. I'm sure Scott would take another shot at the whole job, but at this point I just don't have that kind of patience given it took way too long the first go around. I have resigned myself to just be annoyed at the flaws in the paint I can see every time the light is just right. Sigh... My search for the perfect body and paint shop continues.

Total was $1300. 4 days later front tire completely falls, axle snaps, and ball joint falls out. Owner says get it towed in and he'll work with me. Quotes me $2300 for the second part of the job. Tried calling owner no response. Very unprofessional and not willing to admit they made a mistake or work with me. Not to mention this tire falling off could of killed me. They deny the second damage had anything to do with the first job but I've spoken to enough people that said at a minimum they should of done a full inspection of the front end. If they had a done a thorough inspection I would of happily paid the money. Instead two tows and here we are. Avoid this shop and go somewhere that knows what their doing and doesn't avoid phone calls when things don't go there way. In life it's how you respond to the tough times that define you.

Once complete, I had to bring it back to address a minor issue that should have been noticed before they gave me the vehicle. They were professional about it and didn't try to dismiss anything. Hopefully no other surprises are waiting to show themselves. Dan and the other gentleman up front are nice enough but only speak when spoken to. If you don't ask, they say nothing. The communication throughout the repair process was just okay with me having to call to get updates when the delivery date slipped. I would not characterize them as friendly, just professional. That's okay but I think a few smiles could go a long way given the dollars involved. I can recommend them but I would be prepared to fully inspect the vehicle at pickup.

I paid for the diagnostic work and took the car elsewhere. I'm sharing this so other customers know to ask for part numbers, labor book times, and written documentation before approving repairs.
