It's particularly noteworthy that he finished ahead of schedule - that's rare in the repair business and shows good management and commitment to customer service. He also was "no drama". He told me to bring it in in a couple weeks. He didn't ask for a credit card or drivers license or blood test. I brought it in. He fixed it. I got the car back. After doing quite a bit of research on several shops nearby, a lot of these insurance recommended shops felt like high turnover and didn't seem specialized for Lexus vehicles. I even made a point to call the nearest Lexus dealership and they recommended what felt like a random "mom n pop" shop. As a last resort, I ended up going through the Lexus website where I found Boyce was one of just a handful of Lexus certified shop in the Chicagoland area. After some initial conversations with Kyle and Josue, I could tell they were considering many different aspects of different safety features that could have been damaged from the rear impact collision. This attention to detail sold me, and although I had to wait a couple weeks to bring the car in for repairs I was convinced they wouldn't miss anything during repair. From the minute I decided to go with Boyce, it was pretty much smooth sailing. Boyce took care of any necessary correspondence needed with my insurance company, scheduled Enterprise Car rental to pick me up from the shop, and were very responsive to any calls or emails checking on status. On completion of repairs, I came in to pick up my car which looked pretty close to brand new, however I had noticed some new damage to the driver's side door which wasn't there before. Luckily, Boyce takes hi res photos of the vehicle before taking in and were able to confirm they were at fault. While it was inconvenient to have to bring my car in a second time, I'm just glad Jim was able to confirm and take care of the damages and 2nd rental vehicle. That was very professional, honest, and detail oriented. Knock on wood I don't need to ever come back for repairs, but if I do I know who to call. 'Til next time, cheers!

The time did not bother me,I don't rush anyone then it seems like they have more time to do an Amazing Job like Boyce did. Backstory: I have an '07 VW Jetta (I call her "Ladybird") that was rear-ended (gouge in bumper and protective bumper as well as a bit off center on the sides) and had, in the past, been meticulously parked far in order to avoid bumper scratches and the such. I wanted only VW recommended and certified collision work done; Berlin was the ONLY place that my dealership (VW of Fox Valley in West Chicago) would recommend---bonus was that Berlin was also within the State Farm Insurance network as well! Work on VW: I have to say, Berlin did an absolutely fabulous job fixing my bumper (pristine and only VW parts!); but it was the care and commitment that I received that I was truly impressed with. As an insurance claim, I was EXTREMELY impressed with how committed Berlin Collision was with the care and whole-car-care that I received. I dropped off on Monday and it was ready by Thursday (Lynda is such a pleasant person to deal with as were all the gentlemen I encountered when dropping "Ladybird" off). In and out in, literally, 5 minutes (even the initial evaluation was concise but thorough at 10 minutes). Berlin also arranged (via State Farm), my rental at Hertz and a final drop off of my rental at Berlin. Who likes to deal with being hit in the bumper and having to fix it and all the rigmarole of organizing and trying to coincide all of the details--Berlin worked with the insurance company to make the whole situation painless and seamless as possible---that is Teamwork! What honestly and truly overwhelmed me was how well they took care of "Ladybird". My car, on the outside may be "pristine", it is a whole other story when the doors open! I have a German Shepherd puppy that decided to shed his winter coat the weekend before and there was hair EVERYWHERE. I warned Lynda that if the tech that worked on my car had allergies, they may need a hazard suit---dog hair everywhere! I vac'd and lint rolled but you know those stubborn dog hairs that you can't get to? Berlin did! I cannot say how happy I am with not only the exterior body work of my car, but also how floored I am that my interior looks like it was detailed back to its showroom days! Thank you, Berlin Fox Valley Collision for making this a flawless fix! Truly impressed; my car looks better than before my accident!
