We just enjoyed 4th of July under our new Alumawood patio cover installed by Adam's team. We had three different contractors bid on the job of removing our old wooden cover and installing a new one and Adam's bid was the most reasonable. It included installing new fiberglass tapered columns with decorative caps and bases over the support beams. Adam was very easy to work with. He makes the sales calls, explains everything very clearly, puts it all in writing and only asks for a 10% deposit (just like the law says.) The crew he sent to take down our old cover was fantastic. Three guys had a tough job on their hands since the previous owner of our house built a practically indestructible wooden cover with huge amounts of wood. The crew said they had never had to spend so much time tearing down an old cover. Still, they did not damage ANYTHING in our backyard and cleaned everything up and hauled all the old cover away. The materials for our new cover arrived right on schedule and Adam's team even gave us an extra day for our housepainters to finish the section of our house over our patio. Garrett, Paul and Corbin came in and did a really impressive job building our new cover. It included wiring for two ceiling fans with lights, two outdoor speakers and two halogen garden lights to illuminate our backyard. They even designed and installed a stepped border around the outside edge of our cover that duplicated the look of our old wooden cover AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! Garrett said they had never done that treatment before but you would never know it based on how great it came out. Adam's team even figured out that we only needed three columns instead of the 4 we had previously so we saved some money. These guys are awesome. I had 3 different companies come out for quotes. Adam and Bob, the owners, were the last to quote. They were also the only ones to point out issues we would run into during permitting. No other company brought up issues with the header height violating city code. They also pointed out that the header on the house would be very close to the top of our slider door. Adam asked if we were considering replacing it in the future because the header beam would cover any retrofit kit for a new door. Needless to say, no other companies brought up these problems. I greatly appreciate their honesty. It certainly leads me to trust their work. And an added bonus, their prices are very competitive with all the other quotes I received. The main reason I had picked his company is because another friend of mine had also used him and they were very happy from start to finish and I to was pleased with the out come of their patio; but here is where it gets interesting.........the guys had come out and installed our patio in a day, and cleaned up very nicely even though Adam wasn't there his crew was excellent, they had been using the outdoor faucet from my home to rinse and clean their hands, after they left I rinsed down the patio deck, a few hours later the deck was all dry with the exception of right where the faucet was so I went outside to make sure the faucet was off and it was, I asked my wife to check under the sink of our kitchen and she immediately came out and said we had a problem. I went inside and our kitchen floor was wet so I immediately shut the water off. I called Adam and he immediately called me back ( this was now later in the evening) he immediately called numerous plumbers and finally got one out to me late in the evening. The plumber found the leak; when the guys were installing the patio they hit a waterline dead on, from my understanding there should have been a metal plate there from the builder of the house to prevent that from happening, so the plumber fixed the leak and Adam arranged and had a contractor come out the next day to check the damage; they came a few days later patched the hole where the pipe is and painted to match, the flooring was more difficult but they found the laminate flooring up in the city of industry and had his wife pick it up, they replaced and touched up the base boards. Here's the thing, my wife and I understand things happen and yes it was a bit of an inconvenience but the customer service he expressed from jumping on it right away was second to none we have never had that kind of service from anyone, so if your looking for a patio to be installed rest assured you'll be taken care of if anything goes wrong; he even held the check until all the repairs were complete and we were satisfied!
