This review is very late, that's on me. We've been too busy enjoying our new bbq island! I called 13 different contractors before I found Two Brothers Palapa. Every single one prior was 6-12 months out. This was when everyone was receiving their stimulus money. I wanted to build my husband his dream bbq island as a surprise for when he came home from back to back deployments. Antonio responded within 5 mins of my voicemail and came to my house to go over what I wanted to have done. He was extremely professional and attentive. He actually worked with me to come up with a design, he and I were in my backyard drawing my island on the concrete with my kids sidewalk chalk lol. He emailed me a design within a few days and I hired him right away. Each time I called he answered and kept me in the loop the whole way through. My project was complete within the 5 week period as promised. The grill we wanted was on back order for awhile but that is out of his control. My wife and I are very particular about who we hire to do work in or around our home and when Antonio stopped by the same day after a job to give us a quote, we were excited! We shared our ideas with him about what we wanted and he showed us some pictures of his work and it was beautiful BUT being diligent home owners, we did get 2 more quotes from local palapa builders and we didn't like their style, their personality or the way they carried themselves. With that said, we looked to Antonio for his design ideas, working with my wife on the finishing touches, he transformed our outdoor kitchen into a beautiful, covered palapa and I can't get enough of how gorgeous it looks!! We have done our Backyard Concrete, Patio Covers thru Anthony / Two Brothers Palapa. At first He was Committed to Finish the job on time with 3 weeks time, because I had a Family program suppose to take place on the backyard. We agreed to Pay him $20,000. While the project was going Anthony barely come by, his workers only did the job. They couldn't finish the job within 3 weeks and We had cut back on couples task here and there so they can finish it before our family program. Finally, The main project was done in 5 weeks. We were still Okay But at the final inspection we found many things need to finish properly! Anthony, Told us he will finish those after our family program. We paid him full. But guess what ? He never answered our calls, If I was calling from different number , he answer and Said at least on 3 occasions that he will come in next Sat/Sunday. But he never shows up or calls. So, after 3 months of waiting on him, we paid another Guy to fix all his incomplete small stuff which cost us another $1000. He over promise on things and his timing is not Guaranteed at all. And Plz before your job/project is completely done, I suggest not to pay everything off, otherwise He would not come by to finish the job. read more

We hired Two Brothers Palapa to replace the two-post palapa in our backyard. After some shopping around, Antonio is the most responsive and gives us the best price. Pedro and Sebastian show up on time (7am!!) and worked till 4pm to get everything right for us. We asked them to make the supporting lattices a more dense so that the thatch won't fall.
