Pastini - Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken - Italian Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

I like this place. It is modern and well-decorated inside. I like the location at Oakway Center near lots of shops and amenities. I've had prompt and friendly service each time I've visited here and I've recently discovered what a good deal the happy hour menu can be! We got two drinks and more than enough food for $30 (two pasta dishes, garlic bread, salad, and soup). I really like the Caesar salad (the serving size is HUGE) and their lasagna is very yummy. It is "Italian inspired" so place your expectations accordingly. Overall, I think it is a nice and trendy place to have a lunch of dinner. We brought an exchange student here once and she was impressed with the decor and food! read more

I've never had pasta carbonara before but I thought that this dish was very good, my wife, who is vegan, had the good old fashion spaghetti with pasta sauce and enjoyed it. So all around two happy campers. read more

Drinks, entrees, salads, dessert and service were all excellent!!! Vegetarian tortellini was especially outstanding.

I was not excited about trying this place out, but my husband convinced me to. Or, played the "it's finally my turn to pick, so we're going" card. I'm all about a new business, but he told me there were other locations elsewhere in Oregon. So a chain restaurant. Happy day. Lol. I finally had to bite the bullet and go last night. I was actually pleasantly surprised. Which is always a nice thing to have happen. I expected to be waiting forever, given they had only been open a couple days, and it's at Oakway Center. We walked in and were greeted and seated immediately. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. We had Summer as our waitress, and she did wonderful. She was cheerful, sweet, and always had a smile. It wasn't a fake smile though. All of the wait staff were helpful, actually. I love how they all take care of tables. It's a total group effort. I had soda, my husband tried the sangria, and mother had iced tea. My soda was never empty, dirty dishes never piled up on the table, everything was taken care of quickly. The food was great. I am not a fan of pasta, and I enjoyed it. We ordered the garlic bread as an appetizer, which was delicious. Think crusty bread, with a soft interior, coated in olive oil with fresh chopped garlic and herbs. My mother ordered the five cheese lasagna, which she inhaled. My husband ordered the Fusilli Alla Roma. He enjoyed it. I had the Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken, and I added mushrooms to it. I would equate this restaurant to basically an upgraded version of Noodles and Co. That's what it reminded me of. But in a more relaxed and not so fast food-like setting. Would I return? Yes. I'm not big on pasta so I'm not running to go any time soon. But i had no complaints, especially for being a brand new restaurant. It was good food, served with a smile, and in a nice realizes setting. Review 93 of 2017. read more

My wife and I had dinner here and why we never tried this place before, I can't fathom. They have started a relatively new lunch menu that we will definitely be back to sample. Here's how dinner went: We ordered entrées served prior with bread that was delicious. In fact, we ordered a second helping ( please don't judge) ha... We decided on the special that night which was the ravioli. It was superb....filled with cheese and served in a robust yet not overwhelming red sauce. I had a standard g&t while my wife enjoyed the house wine (very leggy and a nice compliment) Service was spot on and the atmosphere lends itself to taking your time enjoying your meal. Once it drys up a bit, the outdoor patio has heaters and looks to be quite pleasant. We both recommend when in the mood for moderately priced, delicious Italian. read more

Every time we visit from California we stop here to have dinner and it's always a great experience. The staff is great and the food is delicious. The restaurant has nice decor and it's not too big or small. If you want to have romantic dinner it's quite enough, if you have the family out it's busy enough to enjoy and not be shushed. read more

I'm from out of town and my mom and I came in here to have a quick meal. Parking wasn't super easy. But the food made it all worth it. When I say this is the best Italian food I've ever had in my life, I mean it was the best Italian food I've ever had in my life. Worth every PENNY. You could tell that the pasta was homemade and fresh. The sauce was light and wasn't over seasoned. I always like it when the natural flavors take the spotlight rather than restaurants drowning everything in salt. The ravioli left me feeling light but satisfied. The bread was soft and fresh. We also had the artichoke bruschetta which I STILL miss now that I'm back home. I even went a second time before I flew home. 10/10 one of the top 10 best meals I've ever had. read more

I am in a hotel and going page by page trying to pick something for lunch. Which, my time zone is 3 hours later. So, when everyone was in the mood for breakfast, I wanted lunch. I finally decided on Pastini and ordered delivery. Even though delivery time was 45 minutes out, I had my lunch within 15 minutes. What a delight! The bread is fresh, caprese salad refreshing, the rib ravioli delicious and the tortellini Gorgonzola scrumptious. Saving the tiramisu for later. Only downside, who can eat all this food! read more

Didn't expect this to be as good as it turned out to be! Food was good! I had the asparagus salad with chicken and my sister had a lunch special with some sort of meatball/pasta and Caesar salad. The place is also aesthetically pleasing and our waitress was excellent! Will be back! read more

We were stoked that this place was open on July 4th. We were one of the last parties there but our awesome waitress was still refilling our drinks and checking on us even close to closing. The asparagus salad was surprisingly delicious and the pastas/raviolis were all very good to excellent. The large drink selection helped us gulp everything down. read more

Pastini is one of my favorite places to get pasta in Eugene. The downside is that it's kind of pricey but their menu items are all pretty good. I usually get the spaghetti carbonara and it's always really consistent and tasty. The pasta is a bit on the heavy side but the flavor is really good. The garlic bread is also really good and I highly recommend adding them on (I think it comes with 3) to your entree for an extra $2. My favorite thing about Pastini, however, is the restaurant interior. It is a great place for a date or just to grab lunch/dinner with your friends or family. Service here is always on point and the staff is friendly and accommodating. read more

This is my 3rd time coming here. I got the Fusilli alla Roma this time and it was so good. Flavor was great and chicken was seasoned great. I also got the soup for an appetizer it was the butternut squash which was good. Tasted a little fishy but not in a bad way. So if you like that then I would get it. Was a little more Liquidy then I would like for a soup, needed to be a little more thick for my taste but was still good. Can't wait to come back again and try more from them. read more

Had a wonderful experience with Scott as our server! The food was fantastic. Sorry, no pictures, we stayed in the moment and enjoyed the delicious food. We ordered the cheesy bread and calamari for appetizers. Two of us ordered the special, a delicious meat filled cannelloni's that had loads of sauce and cheese melted on top. Did you know that you can order Gluten Free pasta subbed in for pretty much most of the pasta dishes?! That was nice. We had someone order a GF shrimp pasta that was enjoyed. Lasagna was delicious, as was the fettuccine Alfredo, and whatever else was ordered. The ambiance was very nice, open & clean. We will be back! Thanks again Scott! read more

I got the Fusili Alla Roma for pickup and was very disappointed. No sauce at all very bland THICK cuts of chicken breast overall completely horrible; on the the other hand the roasted artichoke spinach spread was absolutely incredible. read more

Great staff and not only friendly but attentive. Food is pretty darn good (I had the Lasagne). Garlic Bread Sticks are worth the $6.00 and I sure didn't have room for dessert when it was over. I ordered the linguine pesto pollo. The restaurant is very nice but the food was only ok. I was excited for my plate , the artichokes in my pasta were cold, the pesto sauce did just taste very good and the chicken was not seasoned very well. It seem to me like they just put the food in the microwave. It is overrated to be honest. read more

The service is not bad here, but the food is below average. We had the full meal spaghetti with meatballs and the chicken caesar salad. The spaghetti tasted like something from a high school cafeteria - thin and overcooked. Tomato sauce and meatballs were bland and Sysco-ey. Salad had just a few strips of cold pre-cooked chicken breast. Dressing was overly anchovy pasted and rather stinky. Croutons tasted like they had been in a walk-in for a couple weeks. $38 later we were out the door and wondering what happened. read more

Even during Covid this restaurant still delivers and ceases to amaze me my husband and I both ordered the chicken Alfredo to go of course and the food stayed hot all the way back home and we live in Cottage Grove when I took it out of the container it was still piping hot they included extra Parmesan To sprinkle over the pasta the sauce is creamy and amazing the chicken is moist and very flavorful they also included little pieces of bread which are soft and just all-around perfect. I have missed coming to this place thank you Pastini for continuing your excellence in pasta I did add a little bit of parsley when we got home because I like parsley. read more

Wonderful experience. Arrived 20 minutes before closing, afraid I wouldn't be served, but I was welcomed right in! Food was delivered soon after ordering. Lacking flavor Came here on 12/4/22. My sister got the carbonara with a caesar and a side of garlic bread. I got the fettucini alfredo with chicken and a Caesar and also garlic bread. The pastas had zero flavors, they actually tasted the exact same which was odd. The salads were like any other salad you could get at the store. The garlic bread was the only thing that had any flavor to it. Everything was meh. The reason I am giving it 2 instead of one is because of the service and atmosphere of the restaurant. It smelled AMAZING when we walked in and were quickly and happily greeted by the staff. Our server was kind and attentive. Overall, wouldn't come back unless nothing else was open. read more

My gluten-intolerant daughter ordered a gluten-free pasta dish. It was delivered with a gluten-free flag on it. She's been sick for two days. The pasta was clearly not gluten-free. This is not a trivial matter. You may as well have poisoned her. I am going to devote time and energy to ensure I impact your establishment as adversely as you impacted my daughter. read more

Convenient location, but a relatively small restaurant. Not good for large groups. Difficult to navigate the walkways and access restrooms. Ordered two meals to go (due to Covid, we do not eat indoors) but when we got home & ready to eat, I did not have the type of salad I had ordered. When I called to inform the restaurant employee, I was told the salad I received is what I had ordered. My receipt, which was attached to the sack the food was in, confirmed that I had ordered a different salad than I received. But I was not able to drive back over to the restaurant to pick up the correct salad. My spaghetti had about half as much sauce as needed. Very disappointed, as we usually like Pastini but have always eaten at the restaurant. UPDATE: The business manager offered to refund the cost of our meal as well as mail us a $25 gift card, which I feel is very generous. We will be returning to one of our Favorite restaurants. read more

I ate here today, the food is always good however with my meal I ordered a Diet Coke Aaannnddddd it was $3.50!!! I almost choked. Of course it was my own fault as I didn't even look at the price on the menu as it is my regular choice to drink Diet Coke. I have been eating at Pastini restaurants for years however when and if I go back, I will not be ordering soda. read more

Dafuq Pastini? My wife and I wanted to celebrate our 10 year anniversary, our first date was at an Italian restaurant and wanted to pseudo recreate that, however Covid-19 kinda screwed that plan. We decide let's order in, and have a nice evening. Pastini is one of the only Italian places that is delivering, I wish I would have just gone hungry. The entire order was butchered and absolutely revolting. My wife ordered the Pesto Linguine, the most bland "pesto" I've have ever tried. It was like the cook chewed up some basil and spit it into the dish and called it good. The linguine was so hard boiled they where mush. Zero integrity. Last of all the whole thing was just soaked in Olive Oil, so much olive oil. My order wasn't any better Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. I'll start with the flavor. It was essentially creamy salt. You could easily find less salt in the ocean then on this plate. Honestly one of the worst Alfredo sauces I've ever had, it's on par with a with a frozen dinner. The chicken was p some of the cheapest cut you can get, it was dry, and tough, definitely not a properly cooked piece of meat. And again the noodles where so hard boiled I think the term al dente doesn't exist in this kitchen. I will never return to this establishment. Worst Italian in town. read more
