I drive by this place a lot and finally had the chance to have dinner here with a friend. The waitress was very nice and attentive. I ordered a Italian margarita and it was amazingly good. I also had the shrimp scampi absolutely the best I've ever had. Was very delicious and the portions was more than generous. Delicious cheese pizza, have had it for years and it's our go to for ordering. The pizza is heavy on the cheese, so if you don't like a lot of cheese ask them to go lightly. Just tried their white pizza for the first time and was disappointed. Way too many diced onions on it. The onions overpowered the whole pizza. It would be much better with thin sliced rings of onions on top than all the diced onions under the cheese. Won't be going here for white pizza again. read more

We ordered pizza, calamari and cheesecake for carryout. The calamari didn't travel too well as it was kind of soggy when we got home but it still tasted good. The marinara sause that went along with it was quite spicy, it reminded me of a fra diavalo sauce. The pizza was also good, the cheese and sauce were perfect, great flavor. The crust was a little thick for my taste, I like NYC pizza with the thin, thin, crunchy crust. The cheesecake slice was generous, my husband ate it and I didn't ask him how it was (but he ate the whole thing so I'm sure it was good). Went to tonight for dinner. The restaurant is decorated festively for Christmas. Don started with the pasta fazool; and ate the whole thing, which these days is very unusual for him. He said it was delicious. He also had the fettucine alfredo which was surprisingly light-- you know how that alfredo sauce can weight you down. But this alfredo was not heavy but still creamy and flavorful. I had the veal parmesan. The veal was delicate, moist and tender. The sauce was mild but savory. We tried to split the lemon cake for dessert, but ran out of room, despite how yummy and refreshing it was. I am claiming that left over. read more

On the up side, the service was very good. The shrimp scampi was good, not great, but not bad. The angel hair pasta was a bit too lemony tasting. Husband said his shrimp and scallops were very good and he ate every bit. On the down side, the caesar salad was the worst I've ever had. It was cheese overkill...and I'm a cheese lover. It was so much cheese, very coarsely grated, that it made the salad inedible. I had to hunt for pieces of lettuce that looked to have the least amount of cheese on them. Very not good! It's like they're trying too hard. Too much is not always good!! The little loaf of bread wasn't sliced through enough and there was no sharp knife with it, so by the time you got a piece of bread off of it, it was smushed down to nothing. The cannoli was okay...again, trying too hard, with mini chocolate chips on the ends and mounds of cream on each side. Unnecessary accoutrements if it's a good cannoli. Absolutely delicious. My wife and I had a run of disappointing Italian joints in Buffalo recently. That run stopped tonight with our trip to Pasquale's in West Seneca. We started with the spinach sausage bread for the appetizer. It was delicious. My wife's entree was the chicken salerno which she loved. I had the chicken parm was was great. We also appreciated the service and their attention to spacing the delivery of our food. The appeitizer came out, followed by the salads, followed by the entrees with a perfect amount of time between. We will most definitely be back. read more

I visited Pasquale's during Local Restaurant Week and ordered their black and blue pasta - beef tenderloin on top of penne pasta with asparagus, red, yellow and green bell peppers and mushrooms with Gorgonzola cheese. It was to die for - the creamy yet tangy Gorgonzola made the dish rich. It was paired with a seafood chowder that I chose as my soup option and that was met the pasta in richness. The creamy chowder had fresh crab meat, mussels, and scallops and was better than some of the seafood chowders I have had in New England. The atmosphere was enjoyable we went on a Saturday at 7 and I expected a long line and wait and the restaurant to be packed. It was busy but it wasn't overwhelming and it wasn't noisy. Our waitress seemed a tad disinterested and at the end seemed to try to rush is out. But she was good with bringing us what we needed. read more

I must say this place used to be one of the best. In recent years it has taken a drastic slide and has been the model of inconsistency. Yesterday I went there and ordered spaghetti and meatballs. I am giving it an A-OK because of the catering. I have been to the restaurant two time and not my kind of place. Its dark - in an 80's kind of den way, I don't like carpeting, its overcrowded and the clientele are sloppy. But the catering is awesome. You can't beat the chicken broccoli or the meatballs for takeout to accommodate large parties and they will cater at a moments notice. read more

Arrived at Pasquale's at 4:30 pm as a party of five. We were told they would not seat us until 7pm because of reservations that were due to arrive at 5pm. The place was empty. I could not believe they couldn't accommodate us. I hope that all their reservations didn't show up. You don't treat someone who has been a customer for over 30 years like that. We have had trouble in the past where the restaurant was empty, and we were told there would be a 10 minute wait. And the last time we went to make reservations, they told us they didn't accept reservations. read more

My first visit was at the East Aurora location and the hostess or whatever she was walks us over to the table and throws the menus on the table and walks away without a word to us. This is the best Italian Restaurant in the area. I went there last night and had the Seafood Marinara. It came with a large bowl of Minestrone soup and the entrée was loaded with large Shrimp, large Scallops and real crab meat over Linguini. What a great dish this was. Went there for the first time today. I had checked online for the menu. Saw what I wanted on the takeout menu, even though I wanted to eat-in. I called to find out if the takeout specials were served in-house, at the same price and in the same way. I was told - yes. When I got there, I was told the didn't honor takeout specials in house and that if I wanted them I would have to order each of the special items alacart. Ended up doing that. This place is basically a knock off Olive Garden. My chicken and breadsticks were still half frozen. I asked the waitress to send out the head chef and she stated there wasn't one and that a bunch of 17-19 year old kids work in the kitchen. I wasn't offered for a new meal or a gift card or anything, after requesting one she said she'd have to call the owners. Well, they basically said to F-off and yelled at her for bothering them. First of all the prices on themenu on line certainly doesn't match the in house menu. This place is crazy expensive for what you get. We go here to Pasquale's in West Seneca often and I am a strict vegetarian. I have asked several servers in the recent past if their tomato sauce was vegetarian and I was always told "YES"! February 12th of this year 2014 we went out for dinner and I had ordered something with that sauce again and seeing I have been told over and over again that it was vegetarian I did not ask this night. One of the people with us got a entrée that turned out it was vegetarian and so I asked a few questions about other vegetarian dishes and told the server that I usually get the same thing because it's vegetarian. She told me what I had WAS NOT! You can't imagine how I felt being a strict vegetarian and finding out how many servers were uneducated and LIED TO ME on what they are serving me. I was sick to my stomach knowing what I ate. NOT RIGHT AT ALL! What happened if they lied to someone with a food allergy and they got awful sick? I would say a law suit the restaurant would have on their hands. Anyway we had a Wonderful server that kept apologizing. I told her it wasn't her fault at all and she did the right thing and went back to the kitchen to finally have my answer of me being a vegetarian about this sauce. With us at dinner there were 2 former servers from other restaurants and policy at both their restaurants were the manager would go to personally apologize for making such an awful mistake and try and make good for it. We never seen anything of the manager at all and the server was left to do the dirty work for his uneducated servers and kept apologizing. The server gave me a desert and what nerve of the restaurant to make me pay for a meal that made me sick because it was not a vegetarian sauce. Myself and the people I was with will NEVER GO BACK to this restaurant!!! No way to run a business on lies and no manager came to take care of this.
