Lau lau pork and mochiko chicken.
Stephanie P.

Good food, friendly service and a fun atmosphere! We didn't realize this restaurant was located inside a golf clubhouse, but it looked like a lot of the people there came specifically for the food and drinks rather than the golf. I was curious about the Guamanian food because that's how it's tagged here, but the menu seemed to lean more Hawaiian. We had lau lau pork with taro and mochiko chicken. Both entrees were well prepared, and the presentation and flavors were more elevated than I was expecting. For the prices, the portions weren't as big as you might typically find at a casual Hawaiian place, but they're reasonably sized and filling. They have a cocktail menu featuring tropical flavors, and the drinks are also well made and tasty. Service was warm and friendly, if a little disjointed, but I would put that down to their being new and still working out the kinks. They were playing live music on a Friday, and it sounds like they rotate between a DJ and a guitarist. If you're seated in the bar, the music is pretty loud to the point that it's hard to have a regular conversation, so if you want to be able to talk without shouting, I'd ask to be seated in the restaurant area. Overall, this would be nice for a date night or for a get-together with friends - there were at least two birthday parties going on! I'd come back again to try more of the Polynesian specialties.

Our first time here. Heard Billy Baroo closed and now Pasifika is here. It's a higher end kind of place, but the food was good. My daughter in law and I both had the Ox Tail Saimin. I think I would have preferred rice over noodles, but it was good. Husband had the Hawaiian Saimin and our son had steak loco moko. It looked delicious, but I can't eat that much steak so I would probably never order that. The kids had noodles and spam. In fact I had to order extra spam for them. Service was great. Very attentive and friendly. They brought out our food quickly and everything was hot. No complaints here. The restaurant looked mostly the same as it did when it was Billy Baroo, they added a few island touches. It was tastefully done. We will definitely return.

We stopped by around 9pm on Saturday night. Service was great. I love the island jams. Upon entering the restaurant we could see they got an "excellent" from the health board. We enjoyed all our food. My husband had saimin. He really enjoyed but wished they had hot mustard so he could dip his wonton in it. I hope they add more local foods as the food they had were all ono. The restaurant is clean, I think it would be nice to maybe add something to the tables to "aloha" it up a little more like some aloha shoyu or table candle. We will definitely come back to try the other dishes.

This is a gem. I was rushing to be the first Yelper here but someone beat me lol. I noticed they opened this new location (their other is in Bellevue) and had a big grand opening part at the beginning of March. I was surprised to hear they were located in the golf course clubhouse area - there was a restaurant there already and I didn't understand - were there two now? Nope. This is it. This has replaced the restaurant that was there before. They have completely renovated the space and also have event space. They serve fusion Pasifika and Asian food - some parts Hawaiian, some parts Filipino, some parts Korean - and it all works. Absolutely delicious with warm, friendly service and a great view of the course from the windows.

Food! Oh my gosh amazing! Service was great and friendly! Ambiance was chill and relaxed! This place has a great menu! We will definitely be back and bring our friends and family! We love the vibe. Owners Ed and Angie are great! Our waiters EJ and Christian were great! Great place to chill and hang out on the patio! Craving that island food and vibe....come to Pasifika in Tukwila! Come get some island food!

First timer! Came here with my cousin on a random day, its located at a golf course! We sat in the bar area, plenty of tables. Our server was Danny, he was fun, attentive, and full of energy! We order the Salmon, crab puffs, and tortellini. All of which were so good! I think I liked the Salmon most! The sauce on top was perfect. Now, drinks... drinks! They were strong and sure got us feeling the music a bit more than others lol. Go visit!

Delicious hot empanadas

Went for a belated Mother's Day brunch. Friendly bartenders and server. Open space that looks out on to the golf course. Everything was so tasty!

Beef short ribs with tuna macaroni salad and kimchi. Yummy bites. Kimchi mild hot and refreshing.

The vibe! The food! The staff!! Tukwila has a winner here people. Atmosphere is totally relaxing. You can hear one another speak at the table, but the is still a bubbly vibe of fun in the atmosphere.

All the staff were pretty chill and nice. Love all their smiles. I got my favorite, Beef Stew. I ordered this often in Lynnwood site, especially when I was sick. Regarless, it's on different location, the taste is the same! So, I'm happy about it. The vibe is completely different than Lynnwood one. This restaurant is darker and guests are way louder. Mostly, university students, I think. I like dim light atmosphere, unfortunately, I can't enjoy it much here. Too loud? Too dark? Or it's just not the right light bulbs, it got me dizzy. It was at night, it made the room even gloomy. Upon returning to the parking lot, the atmosphere is somewhat unsettling. This is particularly true for a woman walking alone. To access the parking lot, I had to walk through the darkness to the back of the building. Unfortunately, due to the narrow parking lot, one car was parked in a manner that blocked the exit way, requiring me to reverse all the way out. Overall fantastic staff, fantastic food, but I may not comeback because the vibe just doesn't suit me. This restaurant will most likely be very busy in the better location and fresh look.

Thankfully dine-in is back open again, so we got here on a Saturday morning around 11:20am to indoor seating that was nearly full and a small line that was forming at the front counter. Walls have a bunch of photo frames, and overall place felt very homely. They have a ton of Hawaiian style plates and even burgers and some seafood, though we and most others got the former to eat. I ordered their chicken and pork combo Hawaiian style plate, and my bestie got their chicken katsu Hawaiian style plate. Portions are huge for both plates and both also came with macaroni salad. They give you sooooo much meat no matter what you get. To go in slightly more detail: - Chicken and pork combo: both meats were flavored very well, and a little sweet too though pretty salty without using the rice as a palette cleanser. Chicken had more depth in its flavor; the pork's flavor was a little too much for my liking, and was slightly harder to chew. Both meats had some sauce hat went onto the rice itself. This didn't detract from my overall experience here, though. - Chicken katsu: we both agreed this was our favorite after exchanging pieces of each other's dish. The katsu is crispy and crunchy, and the chicken itself retained a lot of its juiciness. Katsu sauce on the side is honestly optional since the meat itself is already salty enough. This place does share extremely limited parking with Cakes of Paradise next door, so get here early or be prepared to drive around the area to find some. Just get here, it's a place you can't pass up when you hit up Georgetown!

We came on a Wednesday and happened to score a parking spot right in front of the bakery. Once you arrive, get in line immediately--there will be one. The woman taking our order was incredibly peppy and friendly, even while juggling everything: taking in-person orders, answering phones, serving customers, and bagging food. Seriously impressive. All the seats were filled, so we ordered everything to-go. We got the famous crispy ginger chicken, spam musubi, and chicken long rice. I was hoping for oxtail soup and asked about it--she explained they only offer it on certain days and recommended calling early in the morning to check, then getting there quickly because it sells out fast. Can't wait to come back and try it. Back at the hotel, we feasted. The crispy ginger chicken is famous for a reason--so flavorful, perfectly crispy, and somehow even better the next day. The chicken long rice was packed with noodles directly in the soup (not separately) so the broth had mostly soaked into the noodles, but it was still deeply flavorful and comforting. The spam musubi leans on the sweeter side, which is great if that's your thing. Overall, this place is all about heart, hustle, and seriously satisfying Hawaiian comfort food. Come early, expect a line, plan for parking--and you'll be rewarded.

I was originally going to order some musubi, but after seeing a curry dish, I couldn't resist. Curry Loco Moco Don ($16) - The chef first piles a mound of rice in the bowl. It seems to be higher quality short grain rice, giving great mouthfeel at first, but then biting into it, the overcooked mushy qualities emerge. The rice is sprinkled with a bit of furikake, adding a briny and savory flavor profile. Two beef patties are set on top, both with seemingly fake grill marks, perhaps indicative of commercial patties. They are homogeneous with a kind of spongy texture, pressed into a puck with a bunch of filler like Japanese hambagu. The beef is somewhat tender, but isn't soft enough to be cut through with a plastic fork. There's a fried egg on top, complete with runny yolk and even a small amount of runny white. They then ladle a couple of scoops of Japanese curry over the top. It's somewhat generic, probably a normal boxed curry mix with no embellishment, but it's cooked well. It has a nice thickness, isn't too thin or runny, lending a good curry flavor to the dish. I do with it came with a bit more curry since after eating about half the dish, it was all gone. Finally, some pickled ginger on top completes the dish. The curry is quite filling, probably close to 2 pounds of food. (4/5) Musubi Kai is a convenient and quick stop for a bite while downtown. You order at the front before being seated which means food arrives shortly after sitting down. With that noted, I wouldn't return to wait that long. First visit, to try a relatively famous spot, sure. Inside is a bit tight, but conversation can be had. My friends got the lumpia-silog and bistek-silog. Lumpia was tasty, but not particularly outstanding. Bistek was dry. The beef was tough to chew, seasoned alright on the outside but likely overcooked if not old. I opted for the oxtail silog which was delicious but pricey. Oxtail Silog - for $29, this plate definitely gets a double take. After waiting in the hour line, I figured I should commit for a tasty meal. Oxtail comes in a side bowl alongside a bit of hearty broth which the rice absorbs well. Meat is tender, falls off the bone, but pulling around oxtail bones isn't the simplest, so definitely have to bite around crevices. All in all, this plate was delicious but think it comes with a huge tourist tax I've had better value for oxtail plates. Ube Pancake Stack - four sizeable pancakes. Some pictures, including my own, don't do these justice. I can definitely get behind the hype. They're drenched in a rich ube sauce and there's plenty to go around. Honestly the ube flavor is present on the pancakes, but it feels relatively faint because the sauce is extremely sweet and flavorful, minimizing the pancake taste and expanding the gap between flavors. That being said, I think I would enjoy the pancakes with less sauce (or preferably, on the side).

I had a few samples of their fish, and let me tell you, the fish is FRESH. I am usually picky with tuna because they tend to have a fishy taste, but Ono's tuna was NOT fishy at all. Also, all the different flavors of poké were seasoned PERFECTLY. I got the spicy salmon and the scallop poke. They were both buttery and tender. The flavors did not overtake the natural flavor of the fish, and the sauce was seeped deep into the salmon; the same goes for the scallop.
