We reach out to Roger and team each year for our large family St. Patrick's Day brunch... Service is flawless, timely, and reasonably priced... highly recommended! read more

This review is for the initial contact and conversation with Roger. We are hosting a night before the wedding party and needed some event help. I reached out to PartyServing and got an immediate response from Roger followed by a phone call to discuss my needs. Initially, I was thinking of doing a hybrid (some catered and some home cooked appetizers) but decided that there was just too much to do for this project. Roger was very patient and helpful with great ideas as I worked through my plan. We even went as far as getting a quote from him when I finally realized that I was probably killing myself trying to do this for a party size of 100 people! I ended up going with a full service catering company for my party. I hope that I can find another time to work with Roger and his group. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend partyserving for your next event. read more

Can't say enough good things. Used PartyServing for a small wedding reception (70 people). Roger and his team were very organized and professional. Many of my guests were complimenting how efficient they were- collecting plates and tidying up as the night went on. Very happy with their service and if I ever have another event - will definitely use them again! read more

From the start, the communication was excellent and the delivery superb! Maj and Tyler were professional courteous and took great initiative. We have given this party for 20 years and this is my first time using PartyServing. We can truly say that this is the first time in those 20 years that we were truly able to enjoy our event because of the excellent party help provided. I'll be booking again for next year thank you Roger Maj and Tyler. Kevin read more

After doing a bit of research and speaking with a few different people, we engaged Roger and his team to help with a big birthday bash (~85 people) at our place. We'd done a good bit of the legwork ourselves, but really wanted some help putting together the final touches and making sure everything ran smoothly. Best decision ever! Roger and his partner were prompt, cheerful and overall incredibly helpful. With their help, we were able to focus on our guests and have a good time, rather than worrying about whether drinks were topped off, cake was served, etc. They really helped keep the party rolling! Highly recommended. We will no doubt give Roger a call again soon! read more

I reached out to Roger about hiring staff for my wedding on 9/17/22 (~100 guests in Monterey) and we were on the phone almost immediately, hashing out all of the details. He was quick to respond and he + his staff were phenomenal. We didn't have to worry about any of the logistics once they arrived. I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs staff for a wedding or large party! read more

Roger and team helped us throw a BBQ in the park as a welcome party before a wedding. They went absolutely above and beyond to make it an awesome event, not only doing the grilling, but also managing a big buffet of sides we had ordered from a restaurant, keeping things neat and organized and running on time, and passing around desserts. There were 70 people in a tight space, but they made it work so we and our parents could just relax and have fun. Roger also had to jump through many unexpected hoops to comply with city parks regulations, and he handled that super professionally. We got tons of complements all day on the delicious food. read more

Once again, Roger did an amazing job. This time it was a smaller group than last but Roger and his staff Kathy came right in and it was like hand and glove. Professional, warm, efficient, experienced, affordable, awesome. read more

I found PartyServing somewhat last minute as my wedding reception got closer and I realized we needed more help as we realized trying to throw a "casual" reception in the park got more and more detailed. Luckily they were available for the date of the reception with only a few weeks to go to party time . Roger and his crew were amazing and without them I think I would have been crying over the set up and clean up of the party . Roger had some great suggestions for placement of the bar and food setup and did it in such a professional manner he convinced my mother in law to move things around. They also did an awesome job during the party being on top of things with managing the bar and the food buffet and all the staff were quite comfortable making small talk with the party guests . They were also for a reasonable fee provide a full service coffee and tea bar for guests at the end of the night . I really appreciated the promptness and ease of communicating with Roger and how the company can tailor itself to your party needs. The pricing of their services compared to other company's was another factor in choosing them as well. I would definitely use them again for party needs. read more

I recently hired this service for a wedding I planned for 250 people. He and his team made my work much easier. If I could summarize the experience in a few words I'd say "attention to details and care". I was a bit worried about the outdoor setting. Electricity and water were limited and the ground was uneven. Roger said they would work with what was there and he kept his word. He also helped me figure out a menu that would include vegetarian and gluten free options and the guests loved the food. They were easy to reach via text or telephone (which is rare these days...) I feel lucky to have been able to count on them. And they did it all with a smile. read more

In my line of work I need to hire people who are organized, on time, flexible and consistent. I am glad I found Roger. I was able to relax and enjoy the event. It was easy to interact with him and his team and his knowledge of good food is a great resource. I worked with him on a few business events and each time we were able to come up with a slightly different theme- that way i don't need to find a different catering company each time, I find this very valuable. read more

Roger & Majida provided spectacular support for a recent holiday reception at my SF office for about 80 guests. Even though we contacted them somewhat last minute, they were able to accommodate our needs. Furthermore, they were personable and friendly with our guests and volunteers. I was so happy to have them there to help with set up, serving & cleanup; I probably would have been the one stuck doing dishes and plunging the backed-up sink otherwise! Even though I had not worked with them personally in the past, it felt like we were old friends. I will definitely be using Party Serving again in the future. What pros! read more

Unfortunately I hired Roger Humphrey and his staff to help us with a party this past weekend. He was so responsive to contact, email and phone calls, during the time before I sent him a hefty deposit. Once he got my money I never heard from him again, and after 6 attempts to reach him and get my deposit back, I've heard nothing. His staff never showed up to the party. Needless to say, I highly recommend finding someone else. read more

We found Maji on fairly short notice for our home holiday party. We could not have been more impressed. She showed up early and got right to work. Helped us finish prepare the last few appetizers and made some great suggestions on serving. She worked very hard to keep things moving, and we were actually able to enjoy our party. She even helped entertain the few children that were here while simultaneously replenishing the dip! And nobody can slice a cheesecake as beautifully she can. She even did most of the cleaning before she left. We will definitely be using her again! read more

We hired PartyServing for our event. On the phone, Roger seemed very pleasant. His staff was amazing, had a great attitude and they did a wonderful job at the event. I was happy overall with hiring them. The staff and the job done deserves 5 stars. I do think that having wonderful energy is very important to an event, and there was a bit missing there. Roger got the job done, but bringing a more positive attitude is crucial to clients wanting to do business with you in the future. read more

PartyServing catered our wedding and it was a total success. Our wedding was not conventional for it was in a park with no amenities . We needed someone who could think outside of the box to help us with all of the logistics. PartyServing raised to the occasion and went above and beyond for our 150 guests. It was a hot summer day, hard conditions to be bbq-ing all day but Roger remained positive and the amazing food was the talk of amongst our friends and family post-wedding. I highly recommend PartyServing! read more

Met these people at a party. Love their attitude and who they are. I am hoping to use them at some point. I think they would be reliable and trustworthy. read more

My company's had a rather unpleasant experience of Roger, the owner or manger of PartyServing. We feel he acted unethically and opportunistically, When first speaking to Roger, he assured us that he could fulfill certain catering needs that we had for a specific evening. In order to figure out with him what was needed so we could put together a contract, we asked him to do a walk-through. He demanded that we pay him for the walk-through which we did, believing that we were going to work together but that we just needed to work out the details. That night at 12am, Roger sends us an email requesting a deposit within 36 hours, which felt a little rushed. We got back to him in the morning saying it was a bit of a rush but that we would try to have everything worked out by his deadline. He then responded shortly after (with 29 hours still left on his deadline) saying that they had already allocated much of his staff and therefore could no longer fulfill what he had assured us he was going to be able to offer. This felt very much like a bait and switch in that he made certain offers, but then later reneged and did not even honor the deadline that he gave us to make a deposit. He also wasted our time and money on walk-though that we never would have done had we known he would not follow through on on the time he had promised we would have to make a deposit. I would highly suggest you look elsewhere for Catering services. read more

Do not use this catering service. We contracted with them to provide a server and bartender for our event on Sunday; paid the deposit through Pay Pal as Roger Humphrey instructed and had several emails of confirmation. They did not show an hour before time to help prep. I emailed and called with no answer. They did not show at all for the event. I have called 4 times and emailed 3 times to ask for my deposit back and to complain about their horrible service - still no reply. There are no words to describe how unprofessional these people are. read more

I'm a bit delayed in writing this review but I absolutely loved Roger & Majida with Party Serving!! They did an amazing job (in short notice) for my Client Appreciation party in May. They were super friendly, efficient and anything that I hadn't even thought of yet - they were already on top of it! I would call them without hesitation for their services because they were so awesome. Thank you so much for an amazing job well done, I got nothing but compliments at and after the event for their wonderful service! read more

We recently used Roger, Majida (maggie) and Victoria for a cocktail party for close to 100. I cannot say enough about what a great job they did. Roger was EXTREMELY easy to work with, responsive to emails (I never even talked to him until he showed up at my house, but by then I felt really comfortable with him) They put together my appetizers, displayed and served them perfectly. Roger managed the bar and Maggie and Victoria worked in the kitchen, and passed appetizers to guests. In the end everything was cleaned up and leftovers stored. It made my party experience perfect because I was hanging out with my guest, not in the kitchen. We WILL use them again. read more

Roger and his staff provided friendly service and was a pleasure to work with. He was helpful in the beforehand planning and ensuring we would have what we needed. Our wedding was small (60 people), and since I did most of the planning, I had forgotten to review some details with them beforehand. The staff was great and made everything work ...if there were any issues we didn't even notice! Now that's a good thing for a bride & groom on their day! read more
