Vik and his staff were very professional. I got a quote the same day after contacting them, along with a ton of useful information, and it was very easy to work things out over email. We had several rounds of adjustments and they were very amicable. The folks who came out to staff our event were super friendly and efficient. I would love to work with Vik staffing again in the future. read more

Vik Staffing has been my go-to team for plated and buffet dinners. As a manager at a busy music venue, I can confidently say they are consistently responsive, punctual, and reliable. Every server they send is helpful, attentive, and able to both follow direction and take initiative when needed. Vik himself is incredibly responsive and always willing to accommodate my last-minute requests, which is invaluable in this industry. I highly recommend Vik Staffing if you're looking for a team of professional, dependable, and genuinely awesome servers. read more

Absolutely fabulous party last night. Glenn and Susanna really added a fun element to the evening. Glenn is a fabulous bartender, really fun guy, and everyone enjoyed him very much. He was able to make every possible drink and seemed to have fun doing it. Susanna, so professional and calm and fun to work with, she had great ideas in presenting the food and left everything spotless. Cannot tell you how happy we are to have found you. Please pass on to them our appreciation for all they did. read more

I am updating my review to 1 star due to the lies regarding communication, staffing, hours, and event timing in the response below. It's a shame. I would not use this service again. This was a cocktail party with the same menu and people as we had at the last party. The only difference was we had a nice bar set up instead of a folding table and soccer tent and more places for folks to sit. It's a lot of excuses for bad service and ruined food. read more

Vik Staffing was recommended to me by my catering company, and I could not be more happy trusting their recommendation. I hired Vik Staffing for my 150-160 person wedding and I wish there were enough words to describe how amazing his staff was. I knew they were going to be an amazing staff just by the way that Vik handles business. He was responsive, helpful and asked all the questions I did not even think about! Everything on the wedding day went smoothly and perfect, and it was due to the great work they did. They were constantly checking on my husband and I and asked if we needed anything. My husband even pointed out how they would bring him sparkling water whenever he was out (his drink of choice). They were friendly and extremely helpful. I was working with a tight timeline and they made sure to stay on top of it. My guests were extremely happy and were taking care of. It was a great feeling to not have myself, my husband nor our family members have to lift a single finger during our event. My number one goal for our wedding was to enjoy it, be present and feel 0 stress. I got exactly what I wanted and his staff to thank for that. I highly recommend hiring them for your staffing needs! read more

I took off another star because unbeknownst to me until after the party was over, one of the bartenders placed a tip jar at the bartending table and our family was paying tips with their own cash. We keep hearing from family and friends about the tip jar they contributed to us throughout our event. NOT cool. We feel so embarrassed that our guests felt the need to pull out their wallets. Vik himself is very nice. Very responsive, reliable, and so easy to work with, but how could he allow this to happen? So, the bartenders walked away with the 20% we tipped them, along with money from our guests. read more

We used Vik staffing for our engagement party where we needed a bartender. The service was beyond fantastic - not only prompt and friendly but also made yummy drinks! Since SF weather can be unpredictable and the bar was set up outside he brought layers. We provided a drink menu and it was quickly learned. Thank you for making our party special! read more

We had a strange but ultimately positive experience with Vik Staffing. We booked the event a couple of weeks in advance and Vikram reached out on Tuesday before our Saturday event to get the cocktail menu from us. He shared these with the bartender then. Then, on Saturday, when the bartender showed up, we had a very similar experience to a couple of other reviewers here - where our bartender shared that she did not know how to make drinks and was usually just serving them. She struggled to prepare the recipes we had printed out and didn't know how to use our mixing tins. She also smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. When we queried her about her lack of experience, she said she had been asked at last minute to cover the event and had driven up from San Jose. We phoned Vikram right away and he was audibly frustrated (rude even, to the server and my wife) but was able to come take over our bar for the evening. From then on, things were much better. Vikram himself is a solid bartender and was respectful, fun and made excellent drinks. Before booking, I had directly asked about the two negative reviews on the listing and he had mentioned these were written by an employee who was fired and her friend. I had given him the benefit of the doubt but it was unfortunate that we had exactly the same experience ourselves. I know it's hard to find qualified staff in this economy, especially around the holidays but the whole experience left us a little uneasy. Thankfully the event turned out well but I think there is room for improvement here on the backend. read more

Vik Staffing - Gingerbread eggnog (kahlua, eggnog, cinnamon sugar, vodka, whipped cream, molasses) - Bartenders Near Me

Vik's team was great! They arrived early, and were not only friendly, professional, and curtious, but they took the initiative to figure out what needed to get done and hit all the markers. We had food and rentals delivered to our venue, and the staff figured out exactly what needed to get done with minimal direction. Throughout the evening, they made sure everything was moving smoothly, and made it a seemless process for us. Vik was great during preparation, and made sure that we had everything set, and the right staff for the job. 10/10 would use this team again. read more

We couldn't have been happier with Vik's staffing agency! They demonstrated exceptional professionalism and flawlessly executed our large outdoor wedding for 150 guests. Vik was wonderful to work with--his experience, organization, and professionalism shone through every conversation we had prior to the event. From setting up our tables and place settings, quickly moving 150 chairs post ceremony, assembling the appetizer and dessert table, to clearing plates and cleaning up, everything was great. We highly recommend this agency for any event, big or small. read more

The Vik's team is amazing! I've been in the event industry for 18 years and have only had a handful of occasions to bring a staffing agency in as most often our catering teams provide full service staffing. We've had the opportunity to work with Vik's crew twice now. First, for a wedding for 140 people and most recently, a high end fundraiser for 300. They provided over 30 people to work in the kitchen, bartend, and support th Both times, they hit it out of the park! They are kind, courteous, professional, and fun! I want to preface this by saying that I am a wedding planner and am posting this review from the perspective of a vendor. We've worked with our fair share of staffing companies in the past and usually encounter some sort of issues - their team was AMAZING. Yvette was a great captain - very communicative and willing to delegate her team however we needed. Everyone else worked so hard to make sure things were done - setting and filling water goblets, problem-solving when we realized one of the packs of napkins had been left at the bride's parents' house, helping us move chairs after the ceremony, passing appetizers, setting up desserts... they truly did so much to help us and we made sure it didn't go unnoticed or unappreciated. read more

Vik's team are total professionals. I am in the restaurant and hospitality field, and I had Vik's staffing support an upscale summer BBQ party for 75 at my private home. After Covid, our work force decreased dramatically. Come 2022 We started to get really busy again with bookings but with much less staff, this means we could only do so many events. We were forced to turn some events away until we could get our work force back up. Thankfully we found Viks Staffing. Vik Has helped me and several of our clients get the staff they need for their events to run successfully. At first I was hesitant as I have worked with other agencies before and have not always had great luck with the people who were provided. My experience with Vik was way different! He genuinely cares!!! We have used him for around 30 events and I do not have any negative feedback. Everyone has been great! They are respectful, friendly, always have a great attitude and ready to work. My events have ranged from needing 3 people up to 20 people, no job is too big for Vik. He has accommodated me in every single way to make sure every event I hire him for goes seamlessly. Using him has been a game changer for us. Working with Vik and his staff are a dream come true. I have worked in the event industry as an event planner for over 20 years and Vik and his staff are by far the best in the industry. From the second I contacted Vik to assist with the staffing for our clients event I knew I found a diamond... a very rare diamond. He responded right away with questions and suggestions that were extremely helpful. His proposal was extremely detailed and he executed everything with precision and impeccable taste. Vik is generous, kind, thoughtful and extremely honest. His staff are also extremely dedicated and loyal to Vik. This showed me how stellar Vik was not only as a professional vendor to his colleagues but also to his staff. This industry has a huge turnover with staff but Vik has had many of the same staff working along side him for years. This is a true reflection of Vik's character. Vik's communication and presentation is also amazing and no stone is left unturned. He truly looks out for his clients to make sure all of their needs are met to make their day truly remarkable. Leading up to the event and the day of was nothing short of perfect. Vik literally goes above and beyond his scope of work with making my job as a coordinator much easier. Vik and his staff have solutions to any issue that could arise and plan for anything in order to alleviate any adversity. Planning events can be stressful for clients when they do not know who to hire. Hiring Vik for your staffing and events needs is the best decision you can make. read more

Five Star Staff & Service!! Every year my family hosts a Passover Seder for friends & family. We have anywhere from 30-48 people. There are a lot of moving pieces to this event and in the past I have tried to manage most of it. This year we hired 3 amazing professionals from Vik Staffing. They were on time, professional and friendly. I can honestly tell you, having them here allowed me to relax and enjoy the evening!! Definitely using them again read more

I hired Vik Staffing for a fancy plated dinner party in Morgan Hill, CA about a week ago and they did not disappoint! To understand the level of support I got from Vik and his staff, I'd have to start from the beginning. I had to hire Vik Staffing last minute because the original vendor I hired (through an app) fell through at the last minute. I never heard back from them, so I had to find someone else who could staff my event last minute. Vik responded to my online inquiry RIGHT AWAY and we were able to finalize plans for the event that same day! I originally intended to hire 4-5 servers for a plated dinner for 100 guests but right away Vik told me I would need 7-8. My wheelhouse is in event planning and decor not food service, so I trusted Vik. A few days before the event, as clients do, they changed the headcount to 130 guests. Mind you this is a plated dinner with several courses. I reached out to Vik immediately panicking, and he said we would need more servers. I told him, I wouldn't be able to convince my client to add more servers. He reassured me that they would do the best they could with what we had and that we could just pay for overtime if need be. Like most events, I was thrown another curve ball! The rental company now required plates and utensils to be washed (original instructions were to just scrape the food off). This would require either more staff or longer hours. Vik took everything in stride and accommodated EVERYTHING that I requested. Vik assured me that his staff would pitch in anywhere help was required. Why? Because his first priority is to make sure that the client is HAPPY and SATISFIED! Now about the waitstaff...they arrived EARLY, they were very professional and worked their butts off...in the blazing sun, with a smile on their face. I was running around a lot so I put them in the care of our Chef and they were in sync! Feedback from the chef was that they were amazing to work with. The staff took direction very well and were very attentive to the guests, all with a pleasant demeanor. After the event was over, as predicted by Vik, we were nowhere close to done with cleanup. I gave Vik a heads up, and 3 of his waitstaff stayed behind to help finish up. Mind you, even though only 3 stayed on to help, I had a lot more volunteers that were willing to stay (past 10pm) to help out. I would LOVE to list all the staff that helped out but I don't remember names very well. I do remember the 3 that stayed super late to help clean up - Tyler, Yvette, and Kylie. Thank you! You were the bomb.com!!! I appreciate ALL the staff that came through Key takeaways from this (TLDR) review in case you're still on the fence... - Vik Staffing is a definite must-hire! - Vik knows his stuff so listen to his recommendations - Vik delivers as promised (he had backups for staff in case of no-shows) - Vik Staffing is motivated by good service before money, and in the service industry, that's rare and hard to find. Would I use Vik Staffing again - hell yeah! As an event planner when you find good people, you keep them close. Vik is about to be my best friend...he just doesn't know it yet :P read more

Vik Staffing provided us with 2 bartenders (Gabriel & Art) for my daughter's graduation party. From the outset, communication was excellent and they did a great job with providing drink suggestions and letting us know how to prepare and what to expect. We hired Vik staffing for my wedding reception. We had three servers total. Gabriel was one of the servers that stood out the most and went above and beyond. Vik is lucky to have him in his team since Gabriel is a great asset. I do advise that Vik needs to email folks contracts and invoices with how much he is charging per server in an hourly rate. Day of the event we had a little misunderstanding, due to not not having my notes in front of me and lack of contract from our last conversation and was going to be overcharge $200. I did add additional hours two hours however a contract is much needed. I do thank Vik for accommodating me last minute to have his staff work my event for two more hours. read more

I don't write reviews often, but my experience with Vik Staffing was so egregious that I had to post a review. We hired Vik Staffing for an intimate party, and the bartender Vik Staffing sent was severely underqualified. Guests had to google and read instructions on how to make the most basic cocktails (Tom Collins). The bartender literally looked at the jigger and asked what it was. How can a bartender not know what a jigger is? Drinks were so poorly made that guests placed them about the venue to avoid drinking them. Hoping to find a drink the bartender could make, I asked what their favorite drink was and their response was, "I've never done this before." This response was shocking--why would Vik charge us $$$ for someone who can't make a basic cocktail? While I'm sure Vik Staffing has qualified and great bartenders, the bartender they sent over was the biggest dud. I strongly suggest you inquire about the bartenders Vik Staffing intends to send over for your event before proceeding with their services. read more
