Rented tables & chairs for my wedding from Unica Party Rentals. Everyone that I interact with were professional, delightful and helpful. None of them were impatient or rude despite the many changes that I had to make throughout the year. Delivery and pick up were easy and went smoothly as well. Special thanks to Natalie- who is just the best. Highly recommend if you're having an event! read more

Unica is no longer what they used to be. We had to call and email multiple times to find out our delivery window the day of. The woman who answered the phone was rude and really unhelpful. We had to ask for a manager who was finally minimally helpful. We have been renting from them for years and are going to look elsewhere from now on. read more

Had them set up a dance floor for a party in our backyard. They did a great job - clean, punctual, high quality. Highly recommended.

We worked with Andrea for our July 2022 wedding rentals. Andrea was super thorough answering all my questions and helped put together a beautiful day for us! We rented the antique crossback chairs, a 60" half round table, napkins, our sweetheart table cloth and a small 12'x12' dance floor so we could have our first dance and parent dances happen during dinner outside (all our other dancing was indoors). Andrea and her team came out to the venue a few weeks before to do a site visit for the dance floor and were excellent at answering all our questions. Everything turned out absolutely beautiful day of and was delivered and set up promptly! Thank you Andrea and the Unica team! read more

We used Única Party Rentals for the dance floor for our wedding. The staff was very responsive, friendly and professional. The day-of set up and take down was prompt and they did a great job evening out the dance floor on an uneven grass surface. Working with them was stress-free. Would 100% recommend! read more

I had a really disappointing experience with Unica the day of my wedding on 6/3/23. In our contract, I paid over $600 for an exact-time pick up after my event was over and they sent only one worker to pick everything up. He obviously didn't finish on time and I got charged overtime at the venue. This happened over 6 weeks ago and they still refuse to reimburse me for a service that they failed to provide even though I gave them receipts of everything that happened. Additionally, no has called me about the issue and it is me who has to keep emailing and calling to follow up about this. There were also a few other issues that I encountered with this company: 1) They never answer. Its so hard to get a hold of your point person and it takes days to hear back about changes to the reservation order. 2) At the showroom appointment, my point person didn't even show us all of the options in our color theme. When I realized they didn't have what we were looking for, I went back to the website and saw that there were many other options that were never even shown to us in person. It then took my point person over a week to email me a picture of all the napkins lined up. 3) The rentals themselves were not at the quality that I expected. The linens had visible streak/iron marks when I thought they were going to have a smoother look. Also, some of the chairs appeared visibly dirty and they could have done a better job at wiping them down. My advice is to go with someone else. There are so many other great rental companies with better pricing and I am disappointed that I went with Unica. read more

I couldn't speak more highly of Unica's team. Friendly, passionate, organized--they know their stuff when it comes to event rentals.

Terrific service for our pandemic-improvised outdoor dinner. Unica was fast and accurate (and competitive) with a quote; they had everything we needed, and worked with our schedule. The crew arrived when promised, with everything ordered, setup in a flash. Same story with the billing and tear down: fast, on-time, clean and professional. Definitely will use them again and recommend to others. read more

We were really happy we had Unica provide rentals for our wedding in Half Moon Bay. Their delivery was quick, professional, and they were very helpful with setup--they showed up on time with all of the items we ordered and everything was in great condition. The pickup was also super easy, and I was thankful they had the option to pay for Sunday pickup (which some rental places do not offer). There were no surprise costs, they were transparent and easy to work with. We were definitely happy with our experience. Photos from our wedding photographer, Savannah Hayes Photography. read more

We just used Unica for the first time for our daughter's birthday party and were extremely happy with the experience! Working with Dany to decide upon the items we needed and choosing linen colors was very pleasant. He seemed genuinely interested and patient in helping make sure the colors I chose were the best for my event theme. Pick up and drop off were easy and everyone we worked with was friendly and helpful. The communication via email was seamless and thorough. The rentals themselves were in great condition! We had rented from another company before and found the wooden chairs in poor condition and dirty upon pickup. Unica's white resin chairs were in great condition and clean- a much better look for the party! We couldn't have been happier with hour experience! They will definitely be the first place I think of next time we need rentals. read more

They're equipment is in very good condition! Their staff is great! We rented a dance floor and they made sure to protect our gym floor!

I rented dinner and dessert plates and forks for my engagement party and everything was perfect! Natalie was a lot of help, she was very responsive, and friendly, she even took real pictures to the items I picked and sent them to me so I can make a final decision. I rented everything needed for my son's wedding here. I thought everything was going to be delivered the day before the wedding but in fact it was being delivered the day of. I absolutely LOST IT with Natalie over the phone. I feel so bad for my horrible behavior but I was in a panic. Natalie stayed calm and had a crew put together to deliver everything at 9am and put together for the reception. I am so beyond grateful to her for putting up with me and making things happen. I highly recommend using Unica for your party rentals. Just make sure to READ the contract for your pick up and delivery dates so you don't make the same mistake I made. And a HUGE thank you to Natalie and her crew for setting up!! read more

Timely and complete service. I will use them again! They communicated clearly. They are highly recommended

Worked with Natalie on a small COVID-sensitive birthday party. She was very responsive and worked within my budget. I had a rough idea of what I wanted to do and some questions. She worked through my questions and we came up with a really nice layout and COVID-sensitive flow plan. LOVED the barrel bar and the fire pit!! Delivery was courteous, on-time and helpful! Pickup was the same. Great overall experience! Would use again when the need arises. read more

Excellent experience - Mari is the person we worked with to get the order set up, and she was super helpful and responsive - Their catalog is very well put together so it's easy to "get the right stuff" for your event pretty easily - We got a confirmation email a few days before pickup time which was a nice reminder - We drove to the South SF location to pick up and the showroom was huge and clean and really nice, as was the warehouse itself - Everything was loaded in our SUV quickly and with care - The product itself was really great! The chairs and tables and linens were good quality - Drop off was equally easy and smooth Start to finish, an excellent experience with great communication, HUGE variety of product to choose, and easy pickup and dropoff option (youc an do delivery too). We will definitely use Unica again for our next event read more

Frustrated: Met Javier and Jose for a site visit at our home, which cost $150, on a Wednesday. Javier ballparked us a quote for one 20x30 tent at $2,500! Not including tables and chairs. They said they'd have a quote to us on Friday, which we never received. In addition to Monday being a holiday, they said we'd have to confirm and reply by 2 p.m. on Tuesday, or we'd be subject to an "emergency set up fee," because they'd have to set up on Friday for a Saturday party and needed 3 full days notice. WE NEVER RECEIVED THE QUOTE. Seeking reimbursement for the $150 site visit and now we still have to find another solution for tents, tables and chairs. VERY Disappointed, and a waste of $150.00. Plus, $2,500 for a tent that actually costs about $300-$500 is ridiculous. And, FYI, Unica website has no costs attached to tents, tables and chairs, so you have no idea if they're charging a fair/consistent price. read more

I worked with Natalie to plan a Covid-safe outdoor dinner and I couldn't gush more about how wonderful my experience was. Natalie and the Unica professionals were top notch- always on time or early, very responsive, delivered amazing services and results; truly such a wonderful team to work with. I was blown away by how beautiful everything turned out! It was even better than I envisioned and all the guests were so impressed as well. Natalie was always super friendly, professional, and so easy to reach. I had a few last minute add on's and she quickly made sure it was taken care of. She is a dream to work with! After the event wrapped up, the team returned to expertly break down the set up and left the space spotless- they are such a well-oiled team. I can't say enough good things about working with the folks at Unica! Yelp search completely failed me here, because I called all of the 3-star and up places in my area and got pretty much nowhere. Luckily, google search came up with Unica, and I'm so glad it did! I had to do my due diligence, and checked them out on Yelp, and I filled out the quote form in the middle of the night. By the time I was in the office the next morning, I had a quote waiting for me in my inbox! SO FAST! I'm so impressed. I worked with Katie - who was very patient with my questions via email, and was SUPER RESPONSIVE to all of my questions and changes. I was able to get my order locked in within FOUR DAYS of my event. Some of the other places I called couldn't even give me a quote in that short time frame! When I arrived on Saturday morning to pick up my rentals, I was greeted immediately by Katie and she took the time to stand outside in the rain with me to make sure I had everything that I needed. The guys loaded up my SUV, and I was on my way out! I brought a friend because I anticipated having to load everything up myself, but they guys at Unica did it for me! I was in and out of there within 10 minutes! All of the tables, linens, and the canopy that I rented were in great shape, and very easy to set up. After the event, all I had to do was bag up the linens, put the canopy back into its rolling case, and take apart the tables. Super easy! When I went in to return, I just opened the back of my SUV, the guys unpacked all of it for me, and I was on my way out within 10 minutes. These guys are fantastic to work with! I just received my final invoice and it was exactly what I was expecting. Great prices, amazing service, and super easy to deal with. I will be recommending them to everyone and will be using them again for future events. read more

Mike, I went to look at the dance floor and asked Lucia if it was ok to hold the dance floor until 4:30. She then asked "so you want the dance floor?" I then replied " yes I need to get another vehicle because it will not fit in my car, can I come back at 4:30?" she said "no problem I will save it for you until then "and put her hand out for me to shake it. Instead of at least saving it until 5 and then selling it would have been understandable but your staff was unprofessional and did not stick to the agreement. I needed to buy a dance floor and not rent one for the same price of owning that. There were no post on yelp about your company until I wrote my post. now all the sudden you have a slew of 5 star post after within a few days apart. I have used Unica Party Rentals for several of my events. They offer quality products and great customer service. It has definitely brought my parties up to the next level. All my guest are always amazed when they see how beautiful everything looks. I wont use any other party rental company anymore. If by any chance they don't have what I need, they try their best to accommodate me with something similar or actually get the product I am looking for. The fact that they have someone on call 24/7 for any emergencies is also GREAT!!! We all have those last minute emergencies and having someone ready to help is priceless:) I look forward to many more rentals in the future... read more

We checked out a few party rental companies before deciding on Unica. The moment we found Unica, it was a very easy decision to make. We rented linens and Chiavari chairs (the other rental places' chairs looked cheap and flimsy). Not only are the quality of their products great, their prices are very competitive. But, even after we signed our contract (based on their regular prices), they were running a 50% off special for the month of our wedding, Unica called us to tell us about the special and that they will be adjusting our contract to reflect the reduced rate. I'm sorry, what?!? Ok, thanks! What business does that? We will definitely be using Unica again in the future! read more

After my dealings with Unica Party Rentals, I was compelled to do all I could to warn perspective customers to STAY AWAY!!! Not only was the equipment provided sub-standard, but to say that the customer service was rude would be a gross understatement. The Unica staff could be heard clearly hurly expletives at others in Spanish, and came off malignant and aggressive. I couldn't imagine it being possible for the staff to be any more unprofessional. I can honestly say that I was in shock and awe as to the conduct of the Unica staff; primarily because one would think that people would carry themselves in a professional manner when it comes to their occupation. If you were considering utilizing these guys for anything, I would strongly encourage you to keep looking! Any other company has to offer better services than what you could expect from Unica. read more

Unica did a great job with our wedding. Their rates were the least expensive and they were extremely responsive and accommodating. I recently coordinated a wedding at the Conservatory of Flowers that Unica was hired for. I'm so thankful for their level of professionalism, timely delivery and pickup, and quality of their items. We were working with a bit of a time contstraint and if Unica delivered even 30 minutes late, we would have been in a pickle. They were ready to drop off the items 15 minutes before their delivery window started, making the rest of my day absolutely stress free. Can't wait to work with them again. read more

We entertain frequently and often do sit-down dinners for 16-20. Those dinners necessitate renting chiavari chairs. I have always used that well-known rental company with the first 2- letters Ab... My last rental with them caused me pause, because the chairs were badly scuffed and over a third of the chairs had 2 or more missing chair leg pads (resulting in wobbly chairs)! I had noticed the chic Unica black trucks with the stylish logo moving about the city, so for my most recent event I decided to give them a try. Within a few minutes of being connected to Mari, it was obvious this was going to be a much more pleasant and seamless ordering experience. Mari was polite, smart and efficient in asking questions and processing my order. I mentioned my past experience with Ab, describing the scuffed chairs and wobbly legs. She said she would note on the order, touch up chairs if necessary and inspect chair legs. I also mentioned the hassle encountered when processing with Ab, needing to print firms, fill-out, scan and email. Mari responded, we use docu-sign; I thought, too good to be true. In the end, it was NOT too good to be true; it was simply, true! Start to finish seamless, first class service and execution. Delivery staff was first class, professional and most accommodating. Goodbye Ab... party rentals Hellllll-oooooo Unica!!! read more

Renting from Unica was a pleasure. Mari was the point of contact in quoting us for tables, chairs, and linens for a private residence wedding. She did a wonderful job of communicating and was always quick to respond to any quesitons I had. We weren't able to confirm the final number of attendees until close to the event. It was not a problem for Mari to be flexible with us. Day of delivery was about 30 minutes late BUT the employees were responsible in calling ahead and were very apologetic. They went above and beyond to help set up to make up for lost time. The tables, chairs and linens were all in great shape upon arrival (well cleaned and ironed). Pick up was simple and overall everything was great. I would absolutely use them again! read more
