From day one, Nate was communicative, proactive, kind, and incredibly professional. He truly ushered us through the process--answering every question, anticipating our needs, and clearly advocating for us every step of the way. It never felt transactional. It felt like working with someone who actually cared that we ended up in the right place. In a city where real estate can be chaotic and overwhelming, Nate made everything feel effortless. We felt seen, supported, and prioritized. This was a refreshing, standout experience, and we're already looking forward to working with Nate again when we're ready to buy. Highly, highly recommend.

We had pretty specific needs--a short list of great (zoned) public schools for our son, a rec room for crafting/art space, an easy commute to my new office. We also had time constraints, with my wife and son having limited time in NYC to view apartments, while holding down a job/school in DC. Nate accepted all these parameters with a smile--and found us the perfect apartment in less than a week! He coached us in advance, and assembled our entire application package before we began looking at places. When we saw an apartment we wanted, he submitted our completed application package immediately. We were first to apply, because Nate was prepared and on top of everything . . . and we got it! We couldn't be happier or more impressed by Nate's professionalism, expertise and kindness. When my wife and I told our son that we'd signed a lease, that we were done with our apartment hunting, our son replied "I'll miss Mr. Nate." Nate made fans out of all three of us!

We were looking for an apartment and Margaret helped us find what we thought was a "wonderful…read moreapartment". Everything was fine until we realized that the home owner was coming into the apartment with out our permission!! Aside from that there was constant door slamming and fights. We could hear everything - the walls were so thin. The heat was another issue we had to constantly ask for it. Living in that apartment was pure hell. So when we moved out I called Margaret to let her know what an awful experience we had and she didn't want to hear it - her response was " I don't know what that has to do with me". We paid her a $1,400 commission based on her assurance that the home owner were "nice people". She conveniently forgot who paid her $1,400 commission we did not the home owner. It's not ethical for Margret to take prospective tenants to this place knowing that the tenants have to endure no heat, constant door slamming and invasion of their privacy. She didn't want to hear it because the commission check had long been cashed and she was not getting another cent from me. As O'Kane states "O'Kane Realty has been serving the Community with Integrity and Ethics for over 21 Years" ... that's not what the Yelp reviews say!!

After a long search filled with viewing crappy apts & dealing with unproffesional brokers i was losing hope. Thats when i sent the "id like to request a tour" message to one of Devoted's properties and all my troubles went away. That was on a Tuesday morning. I met with John to view it just a few hours later that day. Applied on Wednesday. Approved on Thursday! I could of signed my lease same day or next day too if I wanted but I opted for that Saturday. John answered every one of my concerns, gave me his advice & opinion on questions I had that wasn't even part of his job to answer he's just a good guy on top of good at his job! He may be a little late to your meeting or miss a text because he's juggling so much getting us into our new homes but i'm telling you do not let it deter you from working with one of the best agents out here! Oh and dont hesitate to provide whatever is needed to submit your application. Just think about all those apartments you reached out to on zillow or street easy but then didnt respond after. Devoted wants to protect their time spent, show you're serious and also make sure you dont back out last minute of a property another potential tenant could have its only fair! I can confirm all agreements were honored with no issue! I could go on and on because I'm so shocked at how seamless the whole process was but i'll end it with John you're the best! It was a pleasure and thank you a million times over!

He and Robert Bryan came by to check out the place and immediately struck us as honest, hardworking guys with lots of personality. Our cat also approved, so we decided to give them the listing. We got an above asking, all cash offer about two weeks in and were ready to close. Robert, being the scrupulous and well informed gentleman that he is, caught that we hadn't owned it long enough to avoid paying capital gains tax, so dissuaded us from the deal, instead encouraging us to wait. In this type of market it is VERY rare to have anyone remotely involved in your deal not pushing you to close as quick as you can - I'm sure it was difficult for Robert and Arny to walk away from a sure thing, but they did have our best interests at heart. We relisted with them with the intention of buying another place. They quickly got another (much higher) all cash offer that unfortunately didn't pan out, but that didn't stop them from tirelessly showing us open houses in the far corners of Brooklyn every single weekend of the past cold winter. Sure enough, another offer came in that they negotiated up close to asking from a lowball initial offer and we got into contract. We closed yesterday. Thank you, Robert Bryan and Arny Cohen for working so hard for us and having a good time while doing it, too. We really appreciate it! John, Mir, Zelda and Timber

I did so, enthusiastically with the basics info: credit score, how many people, move in date and my availabilities to see the place. To my surprise I get a reply from a YAKOOV FELDMAN with a simple reply " How about Sunday?". I HAVE NEVER in my life seen such a lack of professionalism from the get go, NO GREETINGS, NO FORMALITY, NO HOSPITALITY, straight up "How about Sunday?" like it's a Tinder date or something. I replied reminding him that I mentioned my availabilities in my initial email but I asked if Saturday works, to which he simply replied "No". I tried to request a tour through Trulia, and the dingus didn't notice it was me again and tried to book me on the SAME SUNDAY at the SAME TIME. I just about had it because do ya'll want to rent this place or nah? At that point I was fed up and emailed him back telling him what a horrible experience they provided me with. This "realty" is a SCAM; they're trying to book everyone on the SAME DAY to drive up demand. This YAKOOV is a complete A-HOLE with no regards to someone's time or urgency. The fact that the phone rings forever and nobody answers should be a dead give away that this is a fake company. In addition, the tone of the communication was at times dismissive and rude, which made the experience even worse.
