Worked with Theo not a man of his word. I contacted about an apartment immediately and I discussed with him that I wanted to secure the apartment asked if I was going to be the first one to see it. He stated yes that I would be the first one to see the apartment. He then had an assistant call me the day of the showing (Wednesday) stating that the tenant can't show people except on Monday and Tuesday. I asked about applying, they sent me the forms I then sent them a deposit that they confirmed. Then the next day Theo called me later to say that he had actually already shown the apartment the day I asked to see it and then he changed the story to the day prior. These guys are completely unprofessional. Not helpful in the least. Somebody needs to take some business classes at the local community college. Theo (the guy at the front desk) is a complete whack job. He will take your phone number under the pretense of "getting back to you if something becomes available" and send you spam text messages for months, even if you ask to be removed from his marketing list. SLOBS!!! Do not list your house with Capri Jet. They are in it solely for the quick money and could care less about getting you the best sale price or treating your building with respect. They leave their listings in complete disarray and are perfectly fine having piles of trash strewn about the front of the building for weeks and weeks. I wrote to the owner to kindly ask him to clean the front of one of his listings which left their front stoop, front yard and sidewalk covered in tons of trash. Despite multiple back and forth with him, he refused to send someone to clean it by saying it's not his responsibility even though he knew well that it was an estate sale and there was no one else that would take responsibility. The listing was left like a complete dump for a full month!!! The fact that Capri Jet won't spend $50 to send someone out to keep the listing clean speaks volumes about the company they are. I will tell all my neighbors to never list with them. If they care so little about their clients and their neighborhood, then they shouldn't be supported by the community. List with someone else. I used them to list a unit In the past, and they were equally bad then. read more

I found a great apartment through Capri Jet that I was really excited about. Submitted my paperwork, got approved, went to the office to sign the lease and meet the landlord, and as I wrote out my security deposit check the landlord freaked out and said the rent was $225 higher than the check I was writing. Apparently there was a 'miscommunication' between the realtor and the landlord, and the realtor listed the apartment much cheaper than the landlord wanted to list. (The realtor wasn't there as it was his day off, so we were with his assistant). I am not quite sure how the realtor went ahead and listed it way below what the landlord wanted. He should have had the rent in writing. In the end I lost the apartment and the realtor sort of shrugged it off as 'a simple misunderstanding!' He later texted me that even at the higher rent the apartment was a great deal. Seriously?? Then he blamed the wrong amount on his assistant, and also said to me that the rent listed (xx25) - was an 'unusual' number - implying I should have known that it was incorrect even though he listed it at that and also told me that number in person at the viewing (which he rushed us through, saying he had to get to another appointment). The owner of the company was very apologetic and tried to make things better but in the end I lost out on an apartment, gave up potential other places for this one, and have to keep looking for a new place. Side note - when I walked into the office none of the 15 or so employees had a mask on - some of the people put one on when I walked in. They made me sign the lease in an airless basement where the two people down there also didn't have masks on until I walked in, and someone else came in during our signing without a mask, and smiled at me as if everything was fine. read more
