We arrived around noon so the place was quiet but the doughnuts were fresh! The team here are super friendly and welcoming. This is a newer location and it has a drive thru. It's also spotless inside. We were waited on right away - just got a Bourbon Caramel and a seasonal S'mores. Both were absolutely delicious but I like sweet doughnuts so be prepared.

Wonderful service, and such helpful staff! I have never gotten a doughnut that has looked so good that I didn't want to eat it, they have an actual selection of vegan and keto friendly items. Would definitely recommend for lazy days spent on the couch eating donuts all day.

As I was driving down 16 Mile Road, I saw Parlor Doughnuts and thought I might like a doughnut for dessert tonight. I had no idea that 1) This was a chain (part of why I stopped was that it wasn't Dunkin or Tim Horton's or 2) That these are not regular doughnuts. At first, I was taken aback by the price of over $3 for one. But then, I realized how big they are. I was going to get one -- or more, as they have some amazing flavors -- but then, I saw the tiny ones. As I was ordering those (which really are filling enough, especially with the dip), I saw SAVORY doughnuts. The Hawaiian BBQ Chicken caught my eye & I decided it was a good lunch. It was a little too peppery for me, but it was very good. These are special doughnuts indeed. Not overly sweet, and they are, indeed, layered, kind of between filo and croissant dough. Definitely worth a try!

Gourmet donuts. Ordered a Raspberry filled, Boston, bourbon caramel, sandy beach, Green tea and an oat milk latte. $24.17 The coffee is decent. The green tea tastes like Lipton, it's quite weak. The raspberry filled is jam filled, the jam was filled on the outer side instead of through the center. The donut outer is quite unique, crispy and flaky, reminds me a croissant. It's good, the dough. Raspberry filling is just okay. The power sugar gets everywhere, what a mess. The sandy beach isn't bad. The top is sugared frosting with some cinnamon on top. Cream cheese frosting would make it better. The inside is soft and billowy and light. The dough is good. The custard or Boston cream fill tastes good, the cream that is. The bourbon caramel is okay, but not for me. Each donut is $3.65 a piece. Price goes down after a dozen donuts, by $1.

These donuts are something else. It's hard to imagine, it's like puff pastry meets donut. Flaky, fluffy and delicious. They are big, but so fluffy I can for sure eat one or two by myself. I'm so happy that they use whipped cream on top of the donuts, instead of Buttercream. It makes them lighter and more delicious. I've tried few flavors and loved them all. The staff was very friendly and helpful with making decision, explaining small details. They so claim of having vegan donuts which I'm yet to try, I saw they carry savory donuts too and some other items. I'm glad they moved so close to my area, as I'll visit them again for sure. One of the best donuts I've had in Michigan.

Came in today for a free donut with the app from 8-4 for their grand opening. Fortunately I live 10 minutes from here so the drive for a free donut was like me, a no-brainer. It was packed when we arrived, lots of people buying what looked like a dozens of donuts, and I can see why. They called them layered and they are yeast based donut, mostly with cool toppings, a few with fillings. The decor is amazing, it's like going to Greenfield village. It's a franchise so they have lots of merchandise to buy too, mugs, shirts and stickers. But they are more than donuts. They have egg dishes, avocado toast, sausage biscuit with fig jam and sage butter sounds good. Definitely a couple steps up from a Dunkin sandwich. They also have acai bowls, keto donuts too! They have every drink you could think of from a bakery. They use an app that you can earn rewards, and you get $5 on the app when you sign up, another no-brainer. Service was great, fully staffed crew. Do check them out!

Really loved the croissant-like texture of the donuts, the large amount of options to choose from, the dusting of sugar on top. We thought they had run out of a certain flavor, but the server assisting us made it fresh so we were still able to have it and it was cool they went the extra mile. The inside was new and cute. Looking forward to testing out more flavors in the future! Current faves are strawberry shortcake (it tasted bright and not artificial) and french toast (can see why it's their best seller).

Worth the price because look at the size of these donuts and the flavor variety! I've never had a savory bacon but the maple bacon donut hit the spot. Perfect sweet treat!

I highly recommend their chicken and beef kebabs -- both were incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned, and full of rich, authentic flavor. The texture and taste were spot‑on. I also treated myself to the famous Turkish dessert katmer served with Maraş ice cream (made from goat milk), and it was absolutely delicious. It's rare to find a place that can deliver such high‑quality, traditional Turkish flavors with this level of authenticity. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and beautifully decorated, making it a great spot for anyone who values both excellent food and a welcoming dining experience. I definitely plan to return with my family. It's a hidden gem, and in my experience -- after trying restaurants across Germany, France, and England -- this place truly meets international quality standards. Definitely a must‑try for anyone who loves great food and genuine Turkish cuisine.

The Ottoman Empire Revived: A Remarkable Culinary Experience at Galata Turkish Cuisine & Café…read more For quite some time, I had been driving past Galata Turkish Cuisine & Café, curious about what awaited inside. Having experienced what I considered the finest Turkish kebab in Atlanta, Georgia, I admittedly arrived with high expectations. I left realizing those expectations had not only been met--they had been exceeded. My meal began with a choice of either a soft drink or traditional Turkish tea included with the combination platter. Opting for the tea turned out to be one of the best decisions of the afternoon. Delicate, aromatic, and beautifully balanced, it carried subtle floral notes of lavender that elevated it from a simple beverage to an experience in itself. Every sip was elegant and memorable. For my entrée, I selected the "3 in 1" combination, featuring chicken kebab, steak kebab, and a ground meat kebab. The presentation was exceptional and reflected the care that clearly goes into every dish. Accompanying the kebabs were a beautifully grilled tomato, a serving of what appeared to be seasoned barley, a grilled jalapeño pepper, and a vibrant red onion salad dressed with olive oil, vinegar, and what I believe was sumac, all accented with fresh mint. Each protein was executed flawlessly. The chicken was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, demonstrating a mastery of both cooking technique and spice balance. The ground meat kebab, reminiscent of an exceptional döner preparation, was rich, succulent, and bursting with complex flavors that unfolded beautifully on the palate. The true standout, however, was the steak kebab. If it wasn't filet mignon, it certainly rivaled it in tenderness. Expertly charred on the outside while maintaining a medium-rare interior with a delicate ruby-red center, it delivered everything one could hope for in a premium cut of beef. Each bite was remarkably tender, practically melting in the mouth while offering deep, smoky flavor from the grill. What impressed me most was how every component on the plate contributed to a cohesive dining experience. Nothing felt like an afterthought. From the tea to the garnishes, every detail reflected authenticity, craftsmanship, and pride. I do not offer this praise lightly: this was, without question, the finest meal I have enjoyed in Michigan in at least the last two years. During my visit, I jokingly told the owner that whenever asked what my last meal would be, my answer had always been Eggs Benedict--my longtime favorite dish. After dining at Galata, however, I would have to seriously reconsider that answer. The meal was that good. If you appreciate authentic cuisine, expertly prepared meats, and a dining experience that transports you far beyond your surroundings, Galata Turkish Cuisine & Café deserves a place at the top of your list. This is not merely a restaurant--it is a celebration of Turkish culinary tradition. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

They have a bunch of cute outdoor seating, so we asked to sit out there. Rachel was our server and she was great - very friendly and attentive! I ordered the Avocado Scramble, but I made a couple of modifications. Unfortunately they forgot to address them, but Rachel took care of that right away and the dish was very good. My wife had the Eggs Benedict, her favorite breakfast dish. She said it was very good and she particularly liked the potatoes that came with it. One final note (and this was not reflected in my rating): the seating in the outdoor section is pretty tight and a couple with a large dog was seated next to us. I'm not a big fan of people bringing dogs to restaurants, but if they are well behaved, I can deal with it. Unfortunately, at one point this dog got excited by a dog coming by on the sidewalk and jumped up and started barking at the others dog, just inches away from me. It was quite startling and its owner was not particularly apologetic. With such a confined space, I think this establishment may want to reconsider whether it allows dogs in their outdoor seating area.
