Outside on Metro Parkway. Has a drive thru

Came in today for a free donut with the app from 8-4 for their grand opening. Fortunately I live 10 minutes from here so the drive for a free donut was like me, a no-brainer. It was packed when we arrived, lots of people buying what looked like a dozens of donuts, and I can see why. They called them layered and they are yeast based donut, mostly with cool toppings, a few with fillings. The decor is amazing, it's like going to Greenfield village. It's a franchise so they have lots of merchandise to buy too, mugs, shirts and stickers. But they are more than donuts. They have egg dishes, avocado toast, sausage biscuit with fig jam and sage butter sounds good. Definitely a couple steps up from a Dunkin sandwich. They also have acai bowls, keto donuts too! They have every drink you could think of from a bakery. They use an app that you can earn rewards, and you get $5 on the app when you sign up, another no-brainer. Service was great, fully staffed crew. Do check them out!

Worth the price because look at the size of these donuts and the flavor variety! I've never had a savory bacon but the maple bacon donut hit the spot. Perfect sweet treat!

Really loved the croissant-like texture of the donuts, the large amount of options to choose from, the dusting of sugar on top. We thought they had run out of a certain flavor, but the server assisting us made it fresh so we were still able to have it and it was cool they went the extra mile. The inside was new and cute. Looking forward to testing out more flavors in the future! Current faves are strawberry shortcake (it tasted bright and not artificial) and french toast (can see why it's their best seller).

They are also out of the ezme, it's a hot sauce. The food all comes out quickly. The lentil soup is very watery, not chunky, tomato based broth, wasn't sure there was any lentil in it, it's just okay. Definitely a different taste than I expected. The bread that comes with the lentil soup reminds me of focaccia bread. The bread does get hard quickly. It's good with the hummus and the Mutabbel while it's soft. The salad is completely topped with crushed walnuts, a lot of nuts. It's a sweet salad since, as it has pomegranate seeds throughout, rather sweet and unique. My hubby liked it a lot, it was a tad too sweet for me. The hummus is good, they drizzle the chili oil over it. Mutabbel is really good, still has the Smokey flavor I expect, the yogurt adds good flavor to it. The Turkish orange tasted like an odd Fanta. The chicken kafta is moist, not over grilled, some gristly pieces in mine. It's not too bad. The 3 in 1 mix was decent. The bulgur is flavorful, tomato based flavoring, reminds me of the Spanish rice some. The Gozleme was essentially a quesadilla, cheese was crumbly and a different texture. It was underwhelming for me. I told a staffer the women's bathroom needs some attention. Toilets are a mess, TP everywhere, it was hard to decide which bathroom stall looked less disgusting. A party of 40 people were arriving as we were wrapping up our meal.

The reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because we were put at a table in the middle of the room and there were several very loud tables behind us, which detracted some from the experience. The restaurant has some acoustic panels on the ceiling but should consider adding more. I could barely hear my companion across the table from me but could hear literally every word from some loud woman behind me (I recognize that the restaurant can't control the volume of their customers but they can, I believe, do a bit more to reduce this issue). The cocktail menu looked interesting too and the steak and frites looked very tasty. In the future, I think I will just try to request one of the tables along the edge of the room, as I think it may not be quite so loud.

A bit of background on my obsession on coffee, I am not an individual that drinks a cup of joe with 500 syrups and 80 cups of milk and say "this is the best coffee EVER!" If it's my first time getting coffee from a coffee shop, I will get a plain black coffee. Therefore, I ordered black iced coffee, which had a good balance in flavors. As for a second coffee, I ordered the Iced Cafe Miel Latte with oat milk. This drink was very good and there was an even ratio between coffee and milk, not too sweet too. Originally, I wanted to grab my coffee and sit inside the coffee shop (from the view outside, the shop looked pretty and modern) but there was no parking spots and the parking lot is beyond small but I did see folks park in the establishment next door and walk over. The drive thru is narrow but the wait time was a bit long and the person at the drive thru didn't seem enthusiastic. Overall, I did enjoy the coffee but I do not see the hype. It basic coffee, nothing that stands out from the rest. I must say the coffee was a bit overpriced, it did not match the quantity. Would I recommend this place to others? I would, only if you're in the area. I wouldn't drive out of my way (20 min) to grab a coffee from this spot.

I ordered the "Double Trouble" -- French toast loaded with cookie dough, Oreos, Nutella, and chocolate sauce. Let me just say... that dish is a train straight to diabetes. In all seriousness, it was absolutely delicious and indulgent, but definitely on the overly sweet side. If you have a serious sweet tooth, this one's for you. My wife went with the Classic Eggs Benedict, and that was excellent -- well-balanced flavors and cooked just right. The breakfast potatoes, however, were a bit bland. They were cooked well texture-wise but could definitely use more seasoning. Service was so-so, though it seemed like they were pretty busy, which likely played a role. The location is great -- conveniently about a mile from Woodside Church, one of the largest churches in Michigan -- so I can imagine it gets especially packed on weekends. One important note: restroom maintenance needs attention. With only a single restroom per gender, cleanliness is critical. My wife noticed the toilet seat wasn't clean, which is something that should be addressed promptly, especially in a high-traffic establishment. Overall, the food quality was strong, particularly the main dishes, and we'd likely return -- but there are definitely a few operational details that could elevate the experience.
