Large Americano and box of 6 fresh and yummy doughnuts is my normal pickup! Sadly have to share so I only get to have one, on a lucky day two doughnuts! Great customer service by the friendly and professional staff! Dining area is clean and comfy when you have the time to relax and enjoy through great food right away!
First time trying Parlor Doughnuts and let me just say they did not disappoint. Not your original looking donut but they taste amazing. They are more of a croissant style donut but Beautifully put together. They have amazing flavored donuts. Quite a plethora of variety. The service was pretty good and very helpful from the person taking our order. They have an inside and outside seating arrangement which is always good. A little outside of a donut prices but they're an out the box doughnut so I'm all for it. Inside my box I have a Peanut Butter Cup, Maple Bacon, Turtle Cheese cake, French Toast, Boston Crème, and can't remember the last one. But they are all very delicious.
If you're in the Fruit Cove area and have a craving for doughnuts, you have to stop by this local gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warmest, most inviting service. The entire staff is not only incredibly kind but also radiates positivity, which just adds to the overall experience! The doughnuts are super \ (*‿*) /ﾟWOW-zzah! These are hands down some of the best we've had in a while. The layers are so buttery, flaky and soft, it's like a croissant and a donut had a baby together. Ha!Ha! It's been about a year plus since our last visit that we forgot how substantial these are! My family of 6 visiting from Charleston (including the grown 23 yr-old kids) insisted we #sharethesweetness. L(*‿*)L. Each bite is a perfect balance of flavor and texture, with fresh, unique toppings that make each doughnut feel like a work of art. You can tell that every pastry is crafted with big L(･‿･)VE and care. *:｡ﾟ We can't recommend this place enough. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this doughnut shop is a must-visit! *:｡ﾟ
We stopped in for a couple of donuts to go. We were immediately greeted by staff and were asked if we had any questions. I wanted a strawberry shortcake and a caramel bourbon. I'd been to Parlor in Panama City Beach and loved it. The donuts were delicious here. The parking lot was very crowded and has an awkward curve turning in. The interior was very clean and has tables if you want to eat in. Definitely will return when I'm in the area.
This was a donut shop that was appealing to all your senses. The ambiance was welcoming. The staff were friendly. The donuts were delicious. This was my first time here. I had a Boston Cream, while my companion had a Blueberry Hill. They were fresh and yummy! Looking forward to my next visit, and trying another flavor.
Parlor Donuts definitely has some tasty options, but our first visit had a hiccup. We ordered two bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches, and when we got home, both were missing the bacon. The flavor was still really good--the plain donut they use as the "bread" is amazing--but definitely a little disappointing to have the order wrong. We also each tried a donut, and while they're definitely on the sweeter side, they were still super tasty. I'll give them another shot because the quality is there, but hoping for better order accuracy next time!
We ordered the French Toast donut, which is labeled as the most popular, and the Coconut Cream Filled donut. They were really delicious and the dough had a special texture. They were fluffy and layered like a croissant but they had a sugary crust on the outside. Both donuts were amazing and we walked away happy! If you have a sweet tooth, this is the right place to go. We ordered inside, where there is a big glass case with all of the available donuts inside, but there is also a drive through. They took our order very quickly and gave us our donuts in a box. There were small paper plates inside so that it was easier to share.
If you've never had the pleasure of partaking in one of Parlor Doughnuts genius creations, I'll tell you this much....it's NOTHING like a typical Doughnut, or even the over-hyped, annoyingly cliche Cronut. This goes SO many levels beyond what any first-timer would expect or even dream of. I've been to both locations, but this one, which has quickly become a fixture in St. Johns County, is my favorite. Pro Tip: IF you DARE come here during the weekend, get here EARLY. With greatness comes popularity, and it's worth setting an alarm to have first pick of the goodies. The Noms: I've tried a good variety (for research purposes....of course), and my standout favorite is the Churro. Grab a handful of napkins before you dig in. It's generously bathed in cinnamon-sugar and chocolate ganache, but it's SO worth the mess. On my most recent visit I stumbled upon their seasonal offering, The White Christmas Doughnut, which is lusciously coated in white chocolate ganache, holiday sprinkles, and a white chocolate covered pretzel. It's truly fascinating how many delicate, flaky layers they manage to fit into just one Doughnut. Delicious, scrumptious, mouth-wateringly satisfying. While I'm not a big coffee drinker, I spurged and paired it with a cool, crisp White Christmas Iced Latte, festively garnished with whipped cream and white chocolate chips. Surprisingly not too sweet or overpowering, but quite refreshing. And So: Just GO. 5 stars isnt enough, and for those with dietary restrictions, ill let you know that they have Vegan, Gluten-Free, and Keto options ready and waiting. You're welcome. Till next time, my fellow Yeeps, SUPPORT the the AMAZING creators of extraordinary eats at Parlor Doughnuts, and as always...SYOY!
So before I get into the donuts, this is what we ordered. From top left to right Blueberry, caramel bourbon, strawberry glaze, cinnamon toast Middle left to right Pistachio strawberry, turtle cheesecake, vanilla glaze, maple bacon Bottom left to right Strawberry shortcake, coconut creme, chocolate glaze, maple pecan While these donuts look like they would be heavy and super sweet, they are not. The dough reminded me of a croissant more than a donut. It was light, fluffy and flaky. Most of them were not filled, which was a plus for me as I feel that it sometimes makes the donuts overly sweet. The topping added just the right amount of sweet to that savory dough. Don't get me wrong though, while they aren't an immediate sugar high, these bad boys are HUGE! We cut ours into 4 so we could each try a piece, and after 4 different pieces, I was stuffed and needed a break. We'll try round 2 later. They do also serve breakfast sandwiches which looked pretty amazing having glanced around at the occupied tables. I definitely plan on returning to try those as well.
Layered doughnuts?! I was intrigued and had to try them! Parlor doughnuts definitely did not disappoint. I picked the coconut cream doughnut and it was sensational. It was like a croissant, doughnut, & coconut cream pie had a baby! The custard inside was thick and flavorful! The doughnut itself was succulent inside with a toasty crust! Truly epic flavor explosions! Not too sweet, definitely filling and utterly delectable! I'll be back! Service was friendly and fast!
Customer service is absolutely amazing. I asked 1000 questions and she did not mind explaining them to me. The donuts are light, flaky and full of flavor. It was very much worth the drive and whenever I am on this side of town, I will 100% be back. I purchased the Truro Boston cream, sandy Beach raspberry pistachio and the turtle. I absolutely loved the raspberry pistachio. You can taste both flavors. The custard in the Boston cream is PERFECT! My son loved the turtle he said you can taste the Carmel in there with the crunch of the nuts. If you have a sweet tooth trust me these are the donuts for you.
Cronuts make my heart and taste buds happy. The best parts of a croissant (light and flaky) and a donut (sweet and delicious). A marriage made in culinary heaven
Just stopped in last minute and I must say this staff is wonderful and the donuts are incredible. Thank you
Walked in and immediately was nicely greeted :) So many super yummy options! Had a hard time deciding but ended up going with French toast, cookies n cream, campfire, lemon bar, and two cinnamon sugar minis for the kids. Kids hated the minis- but their opinion doesn't matter too much. My husband also didnt love it but only because it was more of a croissant type dough vs pillowy dough. The other donuts were fantastic I think everyone's favorite is the French toast! So good! I appreciate that I wasn't overly sweet and tasted like it was good quality. I noticed they had breakfast sandwiches and tacos so I will definitely be back!!! read more

Yes, they're a bit pricey, but these are some flipping delicious doughnuts. Both the Keto and the regular options were fantastic. On the regular side, I almost had to unlock my jaw python-style to take a bite of the behemoth Bourbon Caramel I ordered, and the MIL thought her Chocolate Chocolate doughnut was outstanding. Outstanding range of flavours on offer. For the Keto doughnuts, my only gripe is that they don't use a powdered erythritol, resulting in a crunchy glaze. Still a great and tasty donut with multiple Keto-friendly glaze flavours. read more

Oooo Parlor Doughnuts... why are these so good?!! So many donuts around the area but this is top tier, best donuts, they honestly remind me of a "cronut" very similar, absolutely love the coconut donut and my little one was obsessed with the holiday flavors but is also gravitating towards the coconut minis. Everything is good! read more

Heard about Parlor from a coworker. As soon as I found out that they have keto doughnuts I knew I had to immediately swing in. Love that they have keto options and online ordering. Website was very accurate and easy to use. Placed my order and it was ready to go when I got there. The donuts are so good. Very sweet though. I loved the rustic look, next time I'll hang out for a bit. read more

Love me a cronut! And Parlor does it right and has plenty of flavor options to boot! The oversized doughnuts are soft, fluffy, and are full of buttery croissant goodness. We've come at all times of the day and have always gotten a fresh doughnut. These are definitely able to be split or shared and are a sweet treat to savor. Their coffee is super smooth and the flavors are simple and balanced - vanilla, lavender, maple and brown sugar. The aesthetic is clean and hipster. The hours are the only downside. They could stand to be open a little longer since the doughnuts are the main show and for me, better in the afternoon or dinner. read more
O-M-G, I've had many, many donuts in my day but that maple bacon donut I had today was AMAZING! The donut was almost as soft as a KK donut but not as with the to die for glaze and bacon bits. The restaurant was so cute, nice & clean, staff greeted me as soon as in entered the facility, very pleasant. There's indoor and outdoor seating which outdoor would have been perfect if time would have permitted for me to sit & relax. Not living anywhere close to this area I'm definitely looking forays to my next visit in the area so I can try other flavors of donuts. read more
Yummy!! The doughnuts are big and beautiful! I got a raspberry jelly-filled one for my husband! Plenty of choices--all sounding scrumptious. You may also get Keto and Gluten/free (almond flour). The GF are made fresh to your order of flavors--they are smaller and more cake-like. Lots of coffee/beverage choices. Friendly service! read more

I have heard about these donuts and they do not disappoint you. They have a buttery croissant texture to us. They have unique flavors we really enjoyed them all. They do not have apple fritters but they have a delicious raspberry filled donut with so much filling. The Maple bacon taste like breakfast as did the French Toast. They were busy and parking is challenging but you can park down and walk. The staff is friendly. read more
If you need a quick pick-me-up, gift for your favorite business, or just a place to meet up with a friend and have a sweet treat and coffee, Parlor is the best choice in Jax! I am so happy Parlor opened down the street from me. After taking a few friends there for a treat, I took a box to my medical providers to say thank you. It has been a hit all around! Don't be thrown off if there is a line. They make all their donuts fresh and will even take requests. I'd say the donuts are less cake or fried dough like and more of a croissant texture. They are well worth the price and I definitely recommend a latte or tea to go! They even make a modified treat with bacon for your favorite furry friend! I can't wait for my next craving so I can go to Parlor! read more

Let me layer on the goodness the way they layer on the sweetness! First of all, the staff is so helpful and friendly! The doughnuts are made to order, served warm, and so "a-dough-rable"! They offer a variety of different flavor combinations so "doughnut" just go in thinking you're coming out with one! This crossover between a croissant and a doughnut is genius! read more

Service was ok the first time and better the next. Nice lil hangout spot if you like to hang out. I really like the crunch on the doughnuts and they are big. Really like these doughnuts. read more
These donuts are DELICIOUS!!!! We will definitely be back to try the other flavors and the milkshakes. Today we ordered iced chai tea lattes & a Mayan mocha along with six donuts: campfire, dreamsicle, churro, bourbon Carmel, strawberry shortcake, & Reese's. The donuts have so much flavor and are soft. Some of the staff are the same amazing employees from when they were Twisted Compass. I love the new look and layout; with seating indoors and out. The shoppe also offers breakfast sandwiches. Soon this location will offer online and delivery orders. We were also told that the shoppe will be open on Memorial day. read more
Yum!! Their choices are hard to choose from. Each one is so uniquely different. I went in with a friend, and we ordered two donuts that we both thought we would like, and split them, so we could try the different ones. We landed on pumpkin cheesecake and maple bacon. Not over powering rich, where you feel like your sugar spiked and you need to go to the hospital. Yet, still delicious enough to send you into a food coma, if you don't pace yourself! Very friendly staff, outside seating is nice. The weather was perfect. They have nice umbrellas that cover you all, from the sun. The inside is great, and makes you feel like you are in Paris or somewhere in France. read more

When Hubby and I heard about a new doughnut shop near by, we knew we had to give them a try. We stopped in during their opening weekend and we loved it! The parking lot isn't huge but we got lucky with a spot. They were definitely busy yet the line moved quickly considering. The staff was super friendly and seemed to work well under pressure. I found their menu to be very interesting. Everything sounded so good! We decided to share 2 layered doughnuts and each get a cinnamon sugar cronie which are a mini version of their layered doughnuts. OMG these were absolute perfection! Their doughnuts were so fresh, tasty and not overly sweet. The best layered doughnuts I've ever had! The sandy beach was soo good, I would totally order this one again. I really loved the cinnamon sugar cronie. Similar to a doughnut hole but layered. Fluffy and delicious, highly recommended! Keep us the great work, Parlor! read more
Fresh, amazing donuts. They sell out of flavors quick, but will always make more of a flavor you ask for. The donuts are messy, but their flavor definitely makes up for it. I love their Cookies and Cream. The frosting feels like a cookie melting in your mouth, and the sugary, croissant-like donut bread is it perfectly delicious. Their rustic, All American style makes me feel cozy and warm while sipping coffee and donuts. Would recommend! read more

Learned about these doughnuts while on vacation in Santa Rosa and was so happy to find Jax had one too! We stopped by in the late afternoon and were happy to find out they still had their full assortment available . They decorate them fresh for you after the morning rush is over. They were busy on a Saturday afternoon. Love the raspberry pistachio and honey glazed donuts! read more
Parlor doughnuts opened last month and they are amazing. This space used to be occupied by coffee shop, Twisted Compass. Twisted was a local favorite but suffered because they lacked food. Well the owners have rectified that problem in the best way possible. The coffee is still very good by the way and goes well with the coffee. Sprint to Parlor as fast as you can. read more
If you are in the market for the perfect seasonal doughnut, the Pumpkin Cheesecake, will not disappoint! The best combination of sweet and delicate. For those bacon lovers, the maple bacon will quickly become a sweet and savory favorite. Don't be skeptical about the small parking lot. The friendly staff is great to get you in and out quickly or settling in there to enjoy. read more

The place is small but it's super cute aesthetically. I love the logo and the American flag hanging in the back by the merch. I did feel like it was a bit packed but not necessarily by customers coming/going but the people there hanging out on their laptops. it almost felt like I was bothering them and walking to an office... Lol I went around 11am on a Tuesday. Not every option was available and only one or two of each ones that were. I still got a decent variety as well as an iced coffee. All the doughnuts basically taste the same, the toppings are just dif. Overall I give it a 6/10. But I'd definitely go back to try it again! read more
