First time trying Parlor Doughnuts and let me just say they did not disappoint. Not your original looking donut but they taste amazing. They are more of a croissant style donut but Beautifully put together. They have amazing flavored donuts. Quite a plethora of variety. The service was pretty good and very helpful from the person taking our order. They have an inside and outside seating arrangement which is always good. A little outside of a donut prices but they're an out the box doughnut so I'm all for it. Inside my box I have a Peanut Butter Cup, Maple Bacon, Turtle Cheese cake, French Toast, Boston Crème, and can't remember the last one. But they are all very delicious.

Bourbon Caramel & Strawberry Shortcake

We stopped in for a couple of donuts to go. We were immediately greeted by staff and were asked if we had any questions. I wanted a strawberry shortcake and a caramel bourbon. I'd been to Parlor in Panama City Beach and loved it. The donuts were delicious here. The parking lot was very crowded and has an awkward curve turning in. The interior was very clean and has tables if you want to eat in. Definitely will return when I'm in the area.

If you're in the Fruit Cove area and have a craving for doughnuts, you have to stop by this local gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warmest, most inviting service. The entire staff is not only incredibly kind but also radiates positivity, which just adds to the overall experience! The doughnuts are super \ (*‿*) /゚WOW-zzah! These are hands down some of the best we've had in a while. The layers are so buttery, flaky and soft, it's like a croissant and a donut had a baby together. Ha!Ha! It's been about a year plus since our last visit that we forgot how substantial these are! My family of 6 visiting from Charleston (including the grown 23 yr-old kids) insisted we #sharethesweetness. L(*‿*)L. Each bite is a perfect balance of flavor and texture, with fresh, unique toppings that make each doughnut feel like a work of art. You can tell that every pastry is crafted with big L(・‿・)VE and care. *:。゚ We can't recommend this place enough. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this doughnut shop is a must-visit! *:。゚

One word : delicious. Have you ever had a "layered" donut ? Thats what these are considered. I love jelly donuts. And their jelly donuts have the most amount of jelly I have ever bit my teeth into. They have coconut cream and Bavarian cream as well. I was told those are delicious. Their other donuts are all good. But if you are a jelly donut fan - this place is the tops !

This was a donut shop that was appealing to all your senses. The ambiance was welcoming. The staff were friendly. The donuts were delicious. This was my first time here. I had a Boston Cream, while my companion had a Blueberry Hill. They were fresh and yummy! Looking forward to my next visit, and trying another flavor.

Bacon Egg & Cheese, missing bacon

Parlor Donuts definitely has some tasty options, but our first visit had a hiccup. We ordered two bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches, and when we got home, both were missing the bacon. The flavor was still really good--the plain donut they use as the "bread" is amazing--but definitely a little disappointing to have the order wrong. We also each tried a donut, and while they're definitely on the sweeter side, they were still super tasty. I'll give them another shot because the quality is there, but hoping for better order accuracy next time!

We ordered the French Toast donut, which is labeled as the most popular, and the Coconut Cream Filled donut. They were really delicious and the dough had a special texture. They were fluffy and layered like a croissant but they had a sugary crust on the outside. Both donuts were amazing and we walked away happy! If you have a sweet tooth, this is the right place to go. We ordered inside, where there is a big glass case with all of the available donuts inside, but there is also a drive through. They took our order very quickly and gave us our donuts in a box. There were small paper plates inside so that it was easier to share.

If you've never had the pleasure of partaking in one of Parlor Doughnuts genius creations, I'll tell you this much....it's NOTHING like a typical Doughnut, or even the over-hyped, annoyingly cliche Cronut. This goes SO many levels beyond what any first-timer would expect or even dream of. I've been to both locations, but this one, which has quickly become a fixture in St. Johns County, is my favorite. Pro Tip: IF you DARE come here during the weekend, get here EARLY. With greatness comes popularity, and it's worth setting an alarm to have first pick of the goodies. The Noms: I've tried a good variety (for research purposes....of course), and my standout favorite is the Churro. Grab a handful of napkins before you dig in. It's generously bathed in cinnamon-sugar and chocolate ganache, but it's SO worth the mess. On my most recent visit I stumbled upon their seasonal offering, The White Christmas Doughnut, which is lusciously coated in white chocolate ganache, holiday sprinkles, and a white chocolate covered pretzel. It's truly fascinating how many delicate, flaky layers they manage to fit into just one Doughnut. Delicious, scrumptious, mouth-wateringly satisfying. While I'm not a big coffee drinker, I spurged and paired it with a cool, crisp White Christmas Iced Latte, festively garnished with whipped cream and white chocolate chips. Surprisingly not too sweet or overpowering, but quite refreshing. And So: Just GO. 5 stars isnt enough, and for those with dietary restrictions, ill let you know that they have Vegan, Gluten-Free, and Keto options ready and waiting. You're welcome. Till next time, my fellow Yeeps, SUPPORT the the AMAZING creators of extraordinary eats at Parlor Doughnuts, and as always...SYOY!

So before I get into the donuts, this is what we ordered. From top left to right Blueberry, caramel bourbon, strawberry glaze, cinnamon toast Middle left to right Pistachio strawberry, turtle cheesecake, vanilla glaze, maple bacon Bottom left to right Strawberry shortcake, coconut creme, chocolate glaze, maple pecan While these donuts look like they would be heavy and super sweet, they are not. The dough reminded me of a croissant more than a donut. It was light, fluffy and flaky. Most of them were not filled, which was a plus for me as I feel that it sometimes makes the donuts overly sweet. The topping added just the right amount of sweet to that savory dough. Don't get me wrong though, while they aren't an immediate sugar high, these bad boys are HUGE! We cut ours into 4 so we could each try a piece, and after 4 different pieces, I was stuffed and needed a break. We'll try round 2 later. They do also serve breakfast sandwiches which looked pretty amazing having glanced around at the occupied tables. I definitely plan on returning to try those as well.

Layered doughnuts?! I was intrigued and had to try them! Parlor doughnuts definitely did not disappoint. I picked the coconut cream doughnut and it was sensational. It was like a croissant, doughnut, & coconut cream pie had a baby! The custard inside was thick and flavorful! The doughnut itself was succulent inside with a toasty crust! Truly epic flavor explosions! Not too sweet, definitely filling and utterly delectable! I'll be back! Service was friendly and fast!

Customer service is absolutely amazing. I asked 1000 questions and she did not mind explaining them to me. The donuts are light, flaky and full of flavor. It was very much worth the drive and whenever I am on this side of town, I will 100% be back. I purchased the Truro Boston cream, sandy Beach raspberry pistachio and the turtle. I absolutely loved the raspberry pistachio. You can taste both flavors. The custard in the Boston cream is PERFECT! My son loved the turtle he said you can taste the Carmel in there with the crunch of the nuts. If you have a sweet tooth trust me these are the donuts for you.

Cronuts make my heart and taste buds happy. The best parts of a croissant (light and flaky) and a donut (sweet and delicious). A marriage made in culinary heaven

Since then (mid October), I've enjoyed sampling from at least 3 dozen doughnuts with no regrets. In fact, on our last visit, we stopped at Duck's Donuts FIRST to pick up a fresh dozen for the weekend. And by "weekend", I really just mean Saturday night & Sunday morning. These doughnuts are so good that I wasn't surprised that only 2 were left when we headed home the next day. Although they are BEST warm & fresh, these doughnuts are also delicious the next day. Only because I don't see how that is a negative; to me, that reads as a positive! They are in fact big, dense donuts. If you are looking for a light and fluffy donut, this may not be the donut shop for you. With that said, the donuts were Extremely fresh, and dessert like donuts. I loved "americas favorite" the best but that's pretty normal for me to like the original glazed the most at all donut shops. It's a vanilla glazed donut. The chocolate donut with vanilla glaze was my second favorite, and I'd have to say third was the cinnamon and sugar twist. Shirley took the time to come around to the order area where customers are, and explain in detail each donut she had and what it was like. I LOVED the personal tour of donuts. The customer service level here is a big 10/10. She did explain her chocolate chocolate donut is different from most chocolate donuts at other donut shops and she was in fact, correct. The icing on the chocolate chocolate donut is kindive like homemade cake icing. My grandmother and I used to bake when I was a kid. The icing from the chocolate donut I tried, tasted exactly like the homemade icing I used to make with my grandma when she was alive. It was an immediate nostalgic flavor/memory unlocked. And yes, not the usual icing on a donut but more so icing you may find on a cake. I liked it. It's very rich so the one donut was actually plenty. I cut it in half to eat the rest the next day. Shirley also serves breakfast here. If you are looking for a little more savory to your sweet, you could order both breakfast And donuts all in the one stop shop. I do like that feature. I'm looking forward to trying some of her breakfast options on the next visit.

Unfortunately, that's the last time I'm gonna use that word in this review . The shop it's itself pretty small. Not an outright problem, but it does limit a few things. Sadly anybody that's got a wide set of hips or a larger backside is not gonna be comfortable in any of the chairs that they have at this location. That's fine if you're not trying to entice customers to sit and enjoy their food there, but it was unfortunate to find myself in a situation where my hips did not fit and its unlike the chairs at other locations. I ordered six donuts , sadly, the very first one and the second one that I ate out of that grouping, I could tell have been sitting out for a while. I don't know if they had been made that day or potentially the day before, but the donuts themselves were hard and not the smooth texture that they're supposed to be. Were they inedible? No but I was disappointed because I was excited to share this with a friend and found that this was a letdown. I just had a mochinut this morning from a different flavor, but the same place and I could tell that that one was much fresher. I would strongly suggest there be a timer or there be a limitation to how many or which kinds of donuts are left out. Or you could take a leaf from some of the other mochi nuts and have a few that are on display for the different flavors that you offer and then make each of the Mochinuts, fresh to order. I recognized that may be more complicated, leaving fryers on and things like that but if you have a good product, that's not gonna matter long-term because your sales will offset that and have a consistent basis for what your food and products are supposed to taste like will make a difference. I also found it really interesting that you had different flavors for your Boba teas. I asked specifically if you had Ube and the girl at the register had no idea what I was talking about which is fine. But upon looking at the menu of a further after sitting down, you do list, purple, sweet potato as a flavor. And while there are some nuance differences between purple, sweet potatoes and Ube because technically Ube is a yam and not a sweet potato. Most people don't look at that nuance and believe that they are the same. So I will have to try that the next time I'm in although I don't know when that will be because I don't wanna have to drive out to Beach Boulevard to go to kung fu tea every time I want a Boba. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice but again the issue with the chairs and people with hips. I give this place a three out of five for now. We'll see if a new visit gets me a different opinion.

There are a few tables where you can wait for your order and eat in if you're so inclined. I took my Mochinuts to go and enjoyed the Ube flavor and the Nutella flavors the best. The texture is chewier than a conventional donut and I really enjoyed the entire experience overall. But it was an overall disappointment. I placed my order online and parked as I was parking. I saw two people walk in and by the time I got out of my car and inside one was with the lady at the espresso machine, and the other was waiting in line by the donuts since I had a pick up order, I went over there to try to pick it up, but the lady fiddling with the machine was the only one visible at the time and she was having a time with that machine. I think by the time the lady waiting got her drink. It was probably a good 10 minutes. Meanwhile, because I have physical issues I sat down to wait. In that time about six other people had come in. Now, suddenly another employee appears, and he pulls out a box for a pick up order and started walking into me and then when I said that's not me he then found one of the other people in line who it was for and she indicated she also wanted to go ahead and get a drink so he started helping her with that despite her being one of the last people to walk in the store. Meanwhile, the other lady finally finished the coffee for the first lady and began making this coffee for the second lady from the pick up order. Meanwhile, the gentleman goes over and skips me who was there first and just getting a pick up order that was already placed and start helping another lady in line when he finishes with her he goes to help another gentleman. Meanwhile, I'm sitting there and I'm just trying to get my order picked up that I had already placed long before any of these people appeared in store. So when I finally got my order, it was a good 20 minute wait in store. As for the food itself, I can't say I felt it was the normal expectations I had of Parlor Doughnuts. I ordered a turtle doughnut, a churro doughnut, and a cookies and cream doughnut for my family. Looks wise, they were OK except for mine. Mine was the turtle donut and sorely lacking on the nuts as you can see in the picture. The other ones looked appealing visually however it stopped right there. Whereas I'm normally accustomed to a crispy outside and a flaky interior. This doughnut had a brown exterior, but it wasn't very crispy and the interior was gummy. Very disappointing. So as far as the atmosphere on that regards, the restaurant is very charming. It's well located for its neighborhood. It's generally clean looking however the floors were very sticky.
