Do yourself a favor and KEEP LOOKING. It is not worth doing business with these people or any dealership in the New England Powersports Family. Parkway Cycle is a f***n joke. First off, went in to shop around and find a new bike for my trade. I wanted something more comfortable than my current bike which I owned for 7 years. I found a great bike, or so I thought... let me start with this I have been riding for 17 years, dirt bikes, sport bikes cruisers, you name it, I have riden it. So, I went ahead and purchased a used bike which was almost and even exchange for my current bike. Parkway prides themselves in their 100 point inspection upon releasing any used bike, SCAM. Upon leaving with my new bike the clutch burnt out in the first 35 miles of riding it. I have NEVER burnt out a clutch before and I was riding this on the highway trying to get it home. Well, Parkway tells me it was my fault because only the operator can burn out the clutch. However, there was a previous owner. The report from the tech said, "Tech found clutch adjuster nut tight, when nut is to tight, clutch doesn't fully disengage and causes a burn out of the clutch." Normally, this is something I would check before riding my bike. But, I was picking this up from a dealership who was supposed to check this in their 100 point inspection right? Well, the bike didn't even make it home so I was unable to check the clutch nut myself. After fighting with Parkway for over a week about the repair they said they would meet me halfway, another BS call by them. If it was not their mistake why would they even offer to cover some of the cost. After some time I finally had the clutch repaired in which they said if I rode the same way it would burn out again. Well, 12,000 miles later this season the clutch is still in excellent condition and only needed minor adjustment due to milage. Do yourself a favor and don't buy from these scam-artists, there is plenty of other dealerships w out here who will go the extra mile for you. Literally. In addition to the clutch going. I found a fewother things wrong with the motorcycle when i finally got it home. The bike needed a new oil filter, a carb tuneup, and get this the tire pressure was 50% less than what the proper inflation is. So tell me this what is in the 100 point inspection? NOTHING, its complete BS the dealership tells you in order to make a sale. Parkway Cycle is in the business of turning used bike around faster than they come in. Literally, Parkway wanted me to sign my motorycle title over before the one I was purchasing was even ready to ride to begin with. REALLY?!?! Had I done that there would have been no leverage on my part once that slip was signed. SAVE YOURSELF LOTS OF HEADACHES AND BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

I've had two terrific buying experiences at parkway, most recently yesterday. I bought my first bike from them last year, a Honda CB500F. Hassle free deal and I felt taken care of. I decided this season to upgrade to a bigger bike and found my new Yamaha FZ-07 easily on their website. I dealt with Frank in sales who was very easy going and accommodating. I never felt rushed or pushed into a sale I wasn't comfortable with. I ended up getting a terrific trade on the 500, one of the perks in being a return customer, and couldn't be happier with the new bike. JT in financing did a great job making my end of the deal painless and seamless, I was able to ride away on my new bike that day. Horrible. In the market for a new bike which reminded me of how horrible my experience was with them when I had my last bike. Where to start... I dropped it off because it was stalling out at high speeds and it needed to be serviced. Long story short, it took them over 3 months to fix it. Thats crazy. Cost 1300, much more than they estimated. On top of that, after called and getting the run around for the last 3 weeks they had it, when I finally got it, it was sitting outback (outside) soaked because it had rained that morning. When I took it for a test ride, it rattled like crazy which it didn't do before. If they knew I was coming to pick it up the next day and it had been sitting in the rain for 3 months, you would think they would at least put it inside or dry it off or something that night. Nope. This is the closest place for me to buy a new bike but they lost a sale because of how horrible their service was in the past. I would rather drive to NH. read more

This is my local motorcycle dealership so i'm glad we can be on good terms again. I will continue to get my parts and repairs done by parkway. I must admit they do have quick repair times unlike a few other i have called. DO NOT GO HERE FOR PART/SERVICES. I've been riding for over 13 years and have never been so disappointed and overcharged in my life. I was even warned but didn't listen and ended up with a $1200 bill for a new starter. Not only did it cost an arm and a leg, they took 3 weeks to diagnose and correct the problem. Afterwards, I got my bike inspected there and the sticker fell off on my way home. When I went back to get a new stickers(that sticks), they told me I had to re-inspected(aka pay more). Less then 24 hours? are you F***** kidding me. If Parkways is the closest to you, its worth the extra mile drive down the road to find another place. We persisted with asking why, even though he responded with "leave me alone, I don't make those kind of decisions". I just finished closing on a new GSXR through Parkway. Overall, I found Parkway to be straight forward and the sales staff easy to deal with. Zev (sp?) was especially helpful and Dave in Finance got me out the door quickly. As far as pricing, they didn't jerk me around too much w/hidden fees. There probably was a little bit of wiggle room on price, but to be honest, I really hate negotiating. Financing was straight forward and they gave me a loan w/ a fair APR. I came in on a Thursday and my bike was ready for delivery on Friday. I can't speak to the service side of the business, but I feel pretty comfortable with the team. read more

I'm so surprised by the number of poor reviews here. I realize that everyone has different experiences and expectations, and my numerous experiences with these guys have all been great. I've purchased two motorcycles over the last several years from these guys, one used and one brand new. The used bike was a yamaha V-Star that was in excellent shape, and priced fairly. Zev and Frank Doering are both great, easy to work with, and are good listeners. They helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and I think we worked out a fair deal on both. We always store our motorcycles there over the winter, and have always had good experiences with their service department, which we've found to be responsive and honest. The guys in the accessories department take the time to provide help, and never make me feel rushed. All in all, I would have a hard time going somewhere else if I had to. I really feel like this is a good organization, with helpful and friendly folks working there. Maybe some of the sales guys are pushy - I don't know. If you don't want someone pushy, I recommend you ask for Frank Doering by name. He listens to what you want, and helps you find it. When you find it, he tries to sell it to you. If you don't want it, just say no. He'll get the message. The ONLY reason I didn't give five stars was that when we bought a brand new Yamaha FZ-09 there recently, the guy who was delivering the bike to us obviously didn't know much about it. It IS a brand new model, new triple cyl engine from yamaha, pretty much new everything... but still, I think he should have done his homework - at least on how to start it and get into the underseat storage. But this experience, with a single individual, is not enough to sour me on the whole place. read more

Look, let's not pretend vehicle sales isn't what it is. And to be perfectly honest with you, anecdotal evidence will only shed so much light onto a situation. One thing is for sure though, and that is if you can find any sales person with integrity make him your best friend. I've gotten my last 3 bikes through this company, and Frank D is the only guy I know I can count on. If you're a new rider, or an old timer, he really doesn't give a shit about boosting his numbers. He'll help you find the right bike, and he'll be totally transparent through the whole process. Never received a call from them 3 days later I came to get the bike and it wasn't even repaired, I got upset and just took my bike to some where else.. they also crazy with the prices I called 4 times withing 2 weeks asking for prices and every call wes she part different price SMH read more

I cannot say enough good things about this business. I needed to purchase a snow blower in the easiest way possible for me. They gave me my options, gave me credit, delivered the snow blower right to my garage and took away the old one. In the spring they will come directly to my house and prep the snow blower for the summer. When I went to use the snow blower I had problems with it due to user error. Stephen explained what I was doing wrong and offered to come to my home to look at it. I would highly recommend them. Customer service was excellent. read more

Worst place EVER! Do not go there!!! I am a customer of Parkway Cycles and have a big problem with Parkway Cycles now, not sure how to proceed further. I brought in my bike (Suzuki Madura) to change fork seals ~1.5 months ago. The parts were in and the guy said that I should be able to pick up my bike in a day or so, they will call. Week later I heard nothing so we called and apparently the tech damaged something while disassembling it or, found something damaged, and he needed more parts (somehow they forgot to inform us about it). So we agreed to order new pistons and sliders. Week later I called again. The person that answered phone was VBERY rude and said, they will call when it is ready, no need for me to check in parts are shipped and should be in any day now. Yet another week later. I called again. Same story, parts shipped all is moving, need to wait. Another week (last week). I called, made sure I know who I am talking to (Don). Don: "My computer shows all is fine your parts are shipped, few more days.." Me: "Don, I heard the story for a month now, can one contact the supplier, ask for tracking number ???" Don: "I will check stuff out, call me tomorrow" Called him next day; "Don, what's up with parts?", Don: "Computer said all is fine, will check with ordering department, will let you know" Next day Don, calls: "Parts are backordered till 8-22-10 at least". So I already wasted a months, because parts were in "any day" now, now I have to waste another month. Summer will be over!!!! I said I will pick up motorcycle, don't bother doing anything. Well, apparently I can't do that either. Tech has to put it back together, but he is busy in foreseeable futuer!!!!!!!! (I would think I should have priority, he had my bike for over a month!!!!) And yeah, I need to pay 350$ for his incompetence, because he spent so much time taking fork seals out and now will have to put it back together....350$ for nothing, because he didn't do anything, except breaking some other things that now I have to fix elsewhere. What a fuck. Do I have to pay for no service, why I was LIED to for a months (on multiple occasions, and once in a very RUDE manner). Just bought a 2011 Suzuki DR650SE from as the last person described " "homeboy " Chris the salesman. I personally didn't have any problem with the sale. Wished I had gotten more for my 05 Suzuki DL1000 with 70k on it. But hey I'll never buy a used bike from MoMs south again for sure. But I took what I they offered. Which was a realistic offer for a bike that needed a lot of nickel and dime work. Now the owner of a brand new DR650 dual sport with 2 miles on the odometer. Note to other prospective customers. Don't bring in a POS bike. Expecting top dollar for it. Business is business and fixing a POS trade in costs money. So that the next customer who buys your trade in. Doesn't get boned. Stay away. I went here because they are the closest Honda dealer, but they don't actually do the work they say they do. I got a carb tune on a 2008 Honda Nighthawk for ~ $300. They returned it a few days later, and it still ran like shit, stalled at red lights, etc. I took the same bike to Riverside Moto, paid for another carb tune, and now it runs great, in colder weather. I looked them up on other sites and heard negative reviews, but I still gave them the chance. Do yourself a favor and do not bring your bike there for service. They will not answer the phone or EVER call you back. I made an appointment... it took 6 days for them to even look at the bike for the first time. They said they are busy, but why would you make an appointment if you cannot work on something for a good week. Once parts came in, it took another few days for them to even get to it. 2.5 weeks for a simple fix is insane. I just got off the phone with GBM and without hesitation was told "bring your whole bike down anytime before 4 and we will replace your tube while you wait" I was even given an estimate of $60 with the cost of the tube. After I hung up I remembered Parkway was closer to my house so I called and asked the same question and was told "well maybe if you take your tire off and bring it down we might be able to do that if we have the tube, hold on let me get you to parts" at this point I just hung up since A. I had no interest in taking my rear tire off and B. I had already told him the size I needed, he was going to be the one doing the work, why would I be the one doing the leg work with the parts dept? I am paying you to do the "whole" service and now not o ly do I need to remove my own wheel but also find my own parts? Maybe I should make sure I dialed the right number because this would have been the type of answer I would have expected to get from a guy in his own garage that I found off craigslist. read more

Brought in my 2014 FZ-09 with 700 miles on it because of a broken chain tensioner (I bought the bike 2 months ago and it had 18 miles on it). I knew what the problem was and could have fixed it on my own, but wanted them to do it because it is an extremely common problem with the bike and Yamaha has modified the part 3 times in 4 years because it became a potential safety issue. No recall, just a TSB regarding the CCT. When I brought the bike in, I told the service manager what was wrong with the bike and he came outside to give it a listen. I pointed to the camshaft and held the throttle at a high rpm. He claimed that what I was hearing was just the chain and that It was normal. Insisting that it was not, and knowing better, I left the bike and had them look into it. They called a few days later and told me that it was the CCT and that the cost to repair it was $375 and that it would not be covered despite only having 700 miles on the bike. They told me that the warranty was up after a year and since it was beyond the time, there was nothing they could do. I then called Yamaha directly and spoke with a technician who informed me that Parkway had never called them regarding the bike and that there was a process that they could have gone through because of the low mileage on it. Yamaha then initiated the process with Parkway and I received a call a few days later and I was told that Yamaha would cover the cost of the repair as a courtesy. After having the bike for a week, I was told that it was ready for pickup and when I got there, they gave my a bill for $105 and said that Yamaha covered the parts and labor cost, but that they were charging me for diagnosing the problem. After arguing with the service manager and pointing out that I told them exactly what was wrong with the bike when I dropped it off and that there was no mention of the diagnostic fee when they quoted me the original $375 repair price, they eventually waived the fee. Bottom line..... Horrible customer service, service manager is clueless and they try to suck every penny out of you that they can. Won't go there again, and unless you enjoy being robbed, I would recommend that you don't either. The bike was fixed and it ended up not costing me a dime, but they made it way more difficult than it ever should have been. read more

Went here with a friend to look for a cbr 600. Told the sales person that the limit was 5000 and he made us wait for him while he talked to his coworkers. After they finish talking he took us up stairs to where all the pending sales bike were and showed us a red cbr and said price was 6k and there was no cheaper bike and if my friend wanted it he will pull this bike(someone had already put a deposit on it) for him. The only catch was he had to put 500 down, which was no problem for my friend. We went downstairs to start the paperwork and he left for the first time and came back bringing bad news saying that my friend need co signer which wasn't a big issue, then he left again only to come back and suggest why not just get a brand new bike for 10k. He said this with the new news that my friend needs to put down 3500 deposit either way but my friend couldn't do that so the guy left again to then come back with another bag of bs and said that he had given us the wrong bike price and that the bike my friend wanted was actually 7000 but he would give it to him for 6500. He tried to convince my friend that it was a good deal and the guy who was gonna buy it was gonna get it for 7100. After the sale guy realize he wasn't going to make a sale on this bike, he then showed us a cheaper cbr which wasn't that much cheaper. We ended up leaving and laughing at the sales person on how stupid he was to try to trick us. So my main problem and confusion here is that one if you guys value your customers why are you selling a bike that someone else is already thinking is theirs? Another thing was if you was gonna sell it for 7100 why would you want to sell to us for cheaper because I no sales ppl work on commission. Called to have tires put on my Harley. Took the bike along with the tires to the shop. Got a quote for $250 from Chris at the front desk to instal. A few hours later he calls me back telling me that his tech is yelling at him for taking this job... Tells me the tires are "pancakes" and that they aren't safe. Fine. Then he tells me that they'll do the job but it's gonna cost $50 more. I told him I'd take my bike and my tires and come back with new tires. I had to explain this to him 4 or 5 times bc all he wanted me to do was sign off on the added cost so they could finish the job. When he finally understood that I did not want to go through with the installation he told me it would be $40 bc they had the bike on the lift.... Are you fucking kidding me. I told them I'm not paying them for that when the should've called me before they put the bike up. He said ok, we still need to charge you for the tubes. I refused that cost as well...Long story short... They have the worst customer service, the guy I dealt with didn't know what he was doing and then tried his hardest to close a sale after giving me all his drama about how terrible the tires were and how pissed off his mechanic was. read more

I was past the 25 day return policy because I was hit by an SUV while on my bike, broke my back and almost died a week after making the purchase. The manager made no effort to bend the rules for me. Not even when I offered to pay a 50% restocking fee. This was the definition of terrible customer service. Never come to this place, horrible service. read more

Well three strikes and your out. This is the third and last time I'll be going to parkway cycle. Each time I bring in my bike for a simple oil change and inspection it takes four days or more. In fact this year It took four days for just an oil change. I called to let them know I was picking up the bike and I still had to wait for the inspection. Last year and the year prior after the inspection they always try to pad the bill by adding items to be replaced. Like a shmuck last year I had the brake pads replaced. And they seem worse then before. And guess what, this year they mention that perhaps I need the brake line replace and or the pads. I had purchased a $900 warranty only for them to tell me it was not covered. they charged me $150 to fix it. Stay away from this place! I brought my motorcycle in to the service department for a valve adjustment and compression test. They broke my starter button and said they found it that way. No way! Then, after having them replace the starter button and getting my bike back, it had cooling issues and was over heating on the ride home. That is twice that they are giving me my bike back in a worse condition than it went it for. My friend also has a motorcycle getting serviced there and is complaining of the same problem of getting his bike back with NEW problems. Parkway Cycle has a shady service department. Do not go there. They should be reported to the Attorney General's Office. read more

Unfortunitely, all those other bad reveiews are true. I tried purchasing a bike and this is there process of scam: 1. I told them my budget was $5000 and willing to put down $2500 cash, "what do you have available?" They showed me only the bikes that was outside and the ones that was in my price range was older models like 00-01 where fairings was cracked. The ones in the showroom was obviously out of price. 2. When I started to leave (because on their direct website filtered for their locations had lots more selections), that's when he showed me 2 other places where they have their inventories/bikes -upstairs and off the service area. 3. Every bike i picked he priced way beyond my budget and tried to sell me a 250cc when i made it very clear i need 600cc for daily comute on the highway. What was in my price range was the same issue,-cracked fairings. (I remembered the bikes and went back on their website and they were much cheaper, half of them below my budget.) 4. So I picked a bike that they had outside where they line up their bikes to push, mind you the fairings had cracks and the bike you can tell had small misc issues such as mirror loose, chain needed lube, etc. He gurantees me the bike would be in safe condition other than the cracks on the fairings. I forgot to mention they tell you they will give you $300 worth of free gears for selling you a crappy bike. 5. I go through the finance section because being a first time rider, you just dont care other than getting a bike. I told him again i have $2500 to put down and he says "we are only going to need $500 to put on paper and he'll get the other $2000 later." Long story short i got denied from the bank, (even though i just bough a new car 4 months ago) when i am only financing the other half of the cost of the bike. I took the paperwork because i knew i should no way been denied and it shows that i am only putting down $500 which means he would take my $2000 as commission! I'm glad that i was denied because i would been stuck with an overpaid crappy bike. I ended buy a newer and nicer bike 04 Honda cbr600 paid in full for $2900-NO CRACK FAIRINGS OR LOOSE MIRRORS ON Craigslist! I FORGOT TO MENTION-BRAD H. WAS THE SALES PERSON!!! Place is a complete joke. Guy running service does not know anything about the machines that they're fixing nor anything about the parts. They had over a dozen people working there when i went in, none of them were busy yet not one asked me if i need any assistance. Dropped the bike off for a checkover and was told they would get back to me later that same day. They didn't. I gave them until Tuesday afternoon to call me but they still didn't so i decided to call. The guy running service didn't know anything about what was going on with my machine and that he would get back to me in an hour. NEVER DID. Called them back thursday and pulled my machine out of there. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! They over charge on their labor. They have a bunch of backyard mechanics working there who have no experience what so ever. All they care about is moving product which they can't not service when it needs to be! AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!!! It makes me sick to think that I even have to give them one star. Well, the one star might be for the sales department but when it comes to service it may be the worst place in Massachusetts. I walked in yesterday to have my bike looked at (2012 GSXR 600) because my FI light has been coming on. I explained the situation to the loser at service and he said, "that's too bad, what do you expect me to do about it!!!" Wtf? He then proceeded to tell me the labor rate, storage fee and then my bike sounds "pretty f***** up." I then told him I bought the extended warranty and he literally said, "that's great, again, what do you expect me to do about it?" I'm 28 and this is my first bike, I love riding and surely will buy more over the years.........but from ANYWHERE but here. They are located in Everett where many of the people are low income/education. They think they can talk to people however they want. I BEG you to not support this place. Suzuki makes a great product but if you ever have something go wrong you're most likely better off bringing it to Burger King to have it looked at. I contacted BMS (Arlington) and they offered to look it over for free. I know where my next bike purchase is coming from. read more

I bought a used bike from here less than a year ago.. I was fresh off a plane from Afghanistan, over excited, and jumped in without doing my homework. These guys were terrible. It took me 6 weeks to get my bike. You read right. 6 weeks. When I did get it, the tires were half bald. I had problems with an oil leak almost immediately. They have a 30 day window with used bikes where you can bring them back with problems. I brough the bik eback and was told I bought the bike more than 30 days ago so they couldn't help me. Even though it took more than 30 days to get the bike. The bike came with the wrong sized tires (a 190 squeezed onto a 180 rim) an extended swing arm with built in chain tensioners that were broken, and can't be replaced, A host of electrical problems, and everytime I called it was my problem not theirs. Terrible service. Terrible everything. All they're good at is getting you to sign the contract as fast as possible. read more

This is the biggest rip off in Boston's equipment sales. I was buying equipments (snow equipments and parts) from this guys for few years and they are more then welcoming you when you need to buy something from them, but when you have to bring them something that is under warranty ....please don't even try, there warranty doesn't cover nothing. First they will tell you to bring it to them and they will check, after few hours they will call you of course to inform you that warranty doesn't cover your machine a few weeks old, then they will fixit for you but ( belts for snow blower 300 $ ). Yes 300$ ...... I bought brush from them last year in April and clutch was bad, they told me to bring it to them and they would check with manufacture if is under warranty,...... But if is not they will fix it for me and of course since they are too busy if I wanna to rush it it would be extra. So that told me that brush is not gonna be under warranty right there. I'm never gonna come to that place anymore and wouldn't recommend this place to nobody else . read more
