CAUTION **** DO NOT USE THIS GUY**** PLEASE READ the other reviews before going to this guy I came in for a charging issue - spark plug replacement - oil leak fix and brake pads on Sept 3rd. I supplied the pads and sparkplugs Each week I called and texted no less than 10 times only to hear it will be ready that same week and that never happened. I got my bike 3 months later on December 6th and the leak wasnt fixed the plugs werent replaced and the charging system still wasnt charging. This guy is a complete liar . After I advanced him 660.00 via cash app I believe he may have only replaced the pads. I will confirm that the pads were actually replaced when I get my bike back from another shop before i contact the better business bureau. read more

The bike mechanics in my area are really busy because the riding season is now upon us! Mike is also busy, but he was able to fit me in sooner than the others for a safety inspection/tune-up and some other things I couldn't do myself (adjust clutch, install crash bars, adjust/lube the chain, tighten bolts). He did a great job checking out my KTM duke and was servicing a variety of bikes in his shop (harleys, Japanese bikes, etc). He charges less $$ for smaller (less than 400cc) bikes so be sure to ask about that. Additionally, Mike takes an holistic approach and went the extra mile on some things, like switching the clutch levers for a clean look. He even replaced my ghetto zip ties holding my plate with an actual bracket. Overall, this shop is highly recommended. Would return. read more

Do not go to mechanic!! I brought my back to him on May 13th for a simple drive belt, he asked me to CASHAPP Him $100 and 3 months later he didn't complete the repair, i had to go thru Waltham Police to get my bike back! I called on numerous occasions status of my bike and either go his voice mail or various reasons why bike wasn't finished and to call back and he never once called me!! read more

Sad excuse of a shop and a man. I brought my bike here for a clutch problem in mid-June 2023, was given the run around for almost two months, and was left with an unrepaired bike and $1,100 in the hole. First off, when I had my bike towed here, Mike claimed he knew the problem without even seeing the bike. Just claimed he knew from what I was describing on the phone. He "ordered" the parts and made me pay upfront (never heard of that before...), all while never taking the bike for a test ride or doing any sort of diagnostics. He gave me an original timeline of a week and a half. A month goes by and this guy has not even looked over at my bike, let alone started the repair. He even took a two-week vacation in the middle of this process. After repeatedly getting on his case and threatening to involve the police, he gets it done, 2 months later. Finally, after riding his ass, I pick up the bike, only to be told I owe double what he quoted me for the labor. Fine, whatever, just give me my bike back. I take it home and absolutely nothing was fixed. The clutch still doesn't work. Safe to say this guy probably never even fixed anything and just took my money. He doesn't take cards for payment, just cash app and cash, or provide any paperwork or receipts. Looking back it was a scam waiting to happen. I'm sure he will get this review taken down like the other shitty ones I've seen disappear. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SAFE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND TAKE YOUR BIKE SOMEWHERE ELSE. Mike was able to help me with a brake rotor repair while I was on a long-distance trip. It was on a holiday weekend and literally every other shop had said it would take weeks to do what needed to get done. He diagnosed the problem correctly as a bad floating rotor and installed the appropriate replacement. I was back on the road the next day and able to keep my itinerary intact. M.C. Cycles is the best mechanic shop in New England. I have a 1971 CB 450 and have been to several different mechanics in MA, NH, and Rhode Island (very few shops have the ability to work on old cafe racers). None of them were able to fit in my bike and work on it as fast as M.C. Cycles. All I wanted was an oil change, but was able to have rear turn signals (powder coated) welded in, the electric work upgraded, my clutch adjusted so that it was not as hard all by the time I went to a Mexican restaurant and had a few margaritas. In addition, the pricing is right on. Mechanics who work on old bikes usually gouge us on prices. Thank you! read more
