I did a lot of research and got multiple quotes before we decided to go with Parkside Roofing. From my first conversation with John and later with Dave, I knew we would be in good hands. With something that's as important as your home's roof, you want someone you feel you can trust and someone who takes the time to explain the process and answer every question. Because our existing roof tiles were in good condition, we were given the option of a totally new roof or a reroof with our existing tiles. We went the latter route and saved a significant amount of money. Another roofer I contacted refused to give us this option. The contract we signed was very clear and we were made aware of what could be additional costs once the work started. Once a date was set, the crew got to work and completed the reroof in 3 days. We had a lot of wood damage and they did a great job with all the repairs. When one of the roofers saw me come out of the garage to run an errand, he noticed that there was some sawdust on the garage floor. Without me asking, he was on it and made sure everything was kept clean. Working with Parkside was a pleasure from beginning to end and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof or roof repairs. read more

I don't even know where to begin. These guys run a tight and professional ship. They maintain communication with you about your project. If you have a problem, they come out to check it and, if necessary, correct it. We've had them put roofs on a house and garage, a duplex and a four unit building. Recently, they discovered what we thought was a leak in the roof of the duplex was, in fact, a leak in the skylight. Guess what . . . they worked with me to locate a new one, which they installed. There have been occasions when I called them out about what I thought was a leak in a roof they installed--only to discover the leak was in the stucco under the roof. As I said above, the person they sent out would patch the stucco even though that was not his job and it was not related to the roof. I appreciate this company. Just know I only leave reviews if a company or person is fantastic. I don't like to leave reviews generally. But when a business is great, I want to make sure people know it. read more

Parkside recently replaced the roof on my home in Fullerton. This company was outstanding! Dave and John were a real pleasure to work with. They made the process very easy from start to finish. They are responsive to email, text and phone calls. They answered all of our questions throughout the process. Additionally, they were reasonably priced. We obtained quotes from four other contractors and went with Parkside due to their outstanding customer service and great reviews. They are an amazing business to work with!! My husband and I have been through quite a few home projects in the last seven years and by now we have dealt with and have a feel for what the people who own and work for these types of businesses are like. When we happen to come across a good one--it's seriously the best feeling. Parkside Roofing goes BEYOND any company we have worked with before when it comes to any of our home projects. We are both so happy with them and the work they did for us. They are fast, they are communicative, they do GREAT work and it's HASSLE FREE and just such a smooth process for something that is a huge headache to have to deal with. We had a leak in our ceiling that resulted in a roofing nightmare and Parkside Roofing set up an appointment with us right away to come over and look at our roof for us. They gave us a reasonable quote within a few days and when they got to work on our roof--they found more damage than what they originally anticipated--but the amount they charged for the extra work was beyond reasonable. My husband and I really believe we got such a good deal from them and we rarely feel that way after we are done with one of these projects with the results this company delivered. Usually--when the work we receive is of this caliber and the process is this smooth and this easy--we often find we paid MORE than we expected to pay. Parkside Roofing truly delivered GREAT work at a reasonable price and they are so unbelievably professional in the way they approach their business--this whole thing was just a really good experience all around from beginning to end. The fact that they were able to leave us feeling this good about it even though this was a huge unexpected expense at a time when finances are tight with everything going on in terms of the pandemic just speaks VOLUMES of how great of a job this company did when it came to helping us with this project. Thank you SO MUCH Parkside Roofing for the whole experience. We will absolutely be going with your business again when we are ready to replace our whole roof and we will be recommending you to all of our family and friends. We were truly so stressed when we found the leak in our roof but you really made us feel like you cared about us and wanted to give us the best work possible at a good and honest price. Thank you so much for being such an amazing business for us during this time. We really can't say enough good things about the work you did for us and we are so grateful to you for everything you've done for us. read more

We love our new roof! Parkside Roofing did an AMAZING job! We had several areas that had leaks and the roof was over 25 years old!. I called Parkside Roofing and spoke with Dave. John, the foreman came out to our home to evaluate the roof the next day. I received a quote with the price for a new roof and several pages of reviews from happy customers from Parkside Roofing the very next day! Within three days I had all the information I needed for a new roof. Dave and John helped me choose a color for the shingles, their crew completed the work in a timely manor and added the terra-cotta tiles to the front of the home to complete the original look of our home. Dave, John and their team were efficient, professional, friendly and got the job done from my first phone call to a finished new, beautiful roof in about a week! Couldn't be more happy! I am the son of a home builder and have been on roofs doing roofing myself, so I come into this with a slight bit more knowledge than the average home owner. That is one of the reasons that Parkside got our business. It was between Parkside and another roofer. We were planning a tile reset with new underlayment. The other roofer stated that they don't do estimates and when asked, said that they would be putting one layer of 30 pound felt underlayment. That was the whole reason we chose to do a tile reset in the first place, since we knew the original builder had put only one layer and that this was the reason, the roof leaked. So we immediately knew which company to go with. With Parkside, they provided a very detailed estimate with materials, payment details, and a time estimate for completion. I knew how many squares I had on my roof before John Lee, the estimator arrived. He even flew a drone to get an aerial spec on the number of squares and before he flew it, he guessed at how many squares I had and was right. Everything he said that Parkside was going to do to my roof was exactly what I had wanted and I never had to ask for anything. They knew exactly what to do. They offered 2 new layers of 30 pound felt, new drip molding, new 24 inch wide galvanized valleys, new flashing, a better overlap of tile, new bird stop, and even a new black plastic bird stop at the peaks, rather than mortar which usually slides out of place as the roof ages. They even did extra. They even calked wall seams, potential entry points for water. They even corrected a builder design flaw to prevent future leakage. From their experience reroofing my model home, they knew what part of the roof was a design flaw and an entry point for leakage and wood rot underneath. They fixed it. The built wood stops under the front eves to prevent bird nesting. They removed a plastic owl and even removed a Direct TV dish from my wall. John Lee remains the point of contact throughout the job and there is a foreman, Icidro ( aka. " Easy" ), who manages 4 guys. If you want a good quality, leak free roof, this is the company to go with. I would use them again in a heartbeat and have already referred them to my neighbor. read more

Our roof was leaking badly for months, and two prior contractors had failed to fix the problem. We called Parkside Roofing. They came in a week, found the leak that others missed, and fixed it quickly. When a subsequent storm caused another leak, Parkside Roofing sent their people back and fixed that problem too within days. For the past two days we've gone through very heavy rains and wind - no leaks and total peace of mind. Parkside is fast, reasonably priced and thorough. read more

I have an older house and the fascia boards were suffering from a lot of dry rot. Plus the roof had an area where there water penetration had started (luckily it hadnt progressed to a full on leak). Parkside did a great job. They weren't the cheapest bid, but not most expensive either. Right in the middle which is where I usually try to shop. The work ended up being more expensive than the original bid, but that is the problem with bidding on a roof project, you can never be totally sure how much extra work will be required until they start opening up the roof. The main thing is the work was done correctly and professionally, and the clean up afterwards was perfect. read more

Well, it's the rainy season again and I started to hear some dripping noise in my attic. A combination of anxiety and the fact that it kept me awake, I reached out to some professionals to get it assessed. Out of the local vendors I reached out, John @ Parkside roofing came by promptly (other guys flaked or had more urgent calls). John did an assessment and David sent me the photos and estimate (two holes that were just patched up by previous owner, needs to get professionally fixed) Price was reasonable and quality of work was stellar, only took a couple hours and they were very clean and mindful. I'll probably hit him up when I have to do a full roof replacement. He's a local guy so thats also appreciated. We just had a massive rainstorm and I slept through it, no noise or sound of dripping. So whether you need a repair or looking for a full roof project, hit up Dave and John. read more

4/1/2015 Dave at Parkside was one of the best contractors I have ever used. He gave a fair quote; a good price and the work was super. After getting several quotes, I decided to go with Parkside. I felt that Dave and his team had been the most responsive, and were doing their due diligence up front to make sure I was aware of all the possibilities that could come up when re-roofing a large front balcony. When they removed the existing roof, there was much more damage than anybody could have expected. Dave and Isidro (foreman) were able to provide options and prices on what it would take to get things done correctly. I trusted them, and it paid off. They rebuilt a large part of my balcony and deck, and made it look beautiful. Their prices were very fair and they always did exactly what they said they would do. John at Parkside roofing was awesome! I contacted 5 contractors for some repairs on my roof. John was the first to come out to inspect and give me a quote. I needed a repair on a tile roof and I didn't have much experience with roofers and I didn't know anyone who did. Communication with Dave was quick through text and email, which I prefer . John came out as scheduled to give the estimate. He took the time to explain the repair and additional hot melt redo. Estimate was not high or low, and we felt they knew what needed to be done in a reasonable time frame. I was able to talk with the crew lead Eazy who also explained to me about replacing rotted wood. It seemed that the crew was very careful about removing and replacing the tiles (hard to tell from the ground). I was very happy that they covered the pool and picked up after themselves. Even though they do have a warranty, I waited until after we got some rain to make sure the repair was fixed! It's all good! read more

They did an amazing job with the crack tile on our roof. David easy to talk to and very professional to work with. Great customer services.

We had our house re-roofed in early April by Parkside. The price was competitive and reasonable. We got prompt response from John and Dave from day 1. The crews were cordial and punctuate. They always cleaned up nicely at the end of each working day. The foreman take extra care to ensure things were done right and properly. I reached out the Parkside Roofing for roof repair. They are busy and it was raining a lot so they couldn't come fix it right away, which is understandable. It was smart that John (the manager) used a drone so we can both look at the roof in real time to figure out where the repairs are needed. Once I'm scheduled, the communication was prompt (I prefer texting which is what they did) and the manager and staff are friendly. Price is reasonable as well (some roofers have outrageous quotes!) They fixed our leak very quickly once they are on site and when I ask if they could check other areas of the roof for me they did not hesitate to do so. John came to check the work and pick up the check after to make sure everything was ok. We are very happy with their service. Now we are leak free! I highly recommend them. read more

Although I decided not to go through with my roof replacement, I wanted to at least give my review on the quoting process. Dave got back to me right away when I contacted him through yelp. We immediately exchanged numbers and after discussing what I wanted we set up the appointment for them to come out and take a look. It was quick and easy and didn't try to lock me into a contract right then. They simply just took a look and measurements and said they would get back to me. My quote came promptly, he actually gave me two quotes because I had options. If you want a no fuss process and a non-pushy contractor I'd definitely get Dave a call. read more

I reached out to Parkside to get a quote and told them I wanted a soft quote before they came out to my house. I gave them the dimensions and also what I needed done. I was very specific. They told me the cost which seemed reasonable so I invited them out. After they came to my house, I got a bid and it was 9k higher than the lowest price they said it would be and 6k higher than the highest price they said it would be. Feel very bait and switched and that they initially gave me a low ball quote so they could come to my home. On top of this, I got 4 total quotes and this one was the highest by 3k. read more

I needed a repair done on a flat roof. I called many people for estimates. I decided on Parkside Roofing because John was so knowledgeable and was able to take pictures of my roof to show me what I needed to see. Some of the fascia needed to be replaced and John quickly gave me the numbers. I appreciated that alot! I actually had a several give me estimates on things that didn't make sense. But since I had done my homework I questioned what they were doing. The world is definitely changing. Parkside Roofing, led by Dave (President), and chief engineer Isidro (Project Manager), are simply the best in the biz. There are too many wonderful things to say about this duo and their excellent and professional crew. In no particular order: 1. Dave and Isidro are extremely easy to communicate with. They are readily available, offer sound advice, incredibly personable, reliable, and easy-going. 2. Dave's pricing is easy to understand and very competitive. You can tell that customer satisfaction is a primary objective for this company. 3. Isidro and his crew are extremely punctual. They all show up as promised, and put in hard work throughout the entire project. When weather permits, they easily put in 10 hours of professional labor a day. 4. Isidro and his crew go above and beyond your expectations. They clean up your entire premise after each long day of hard work, which is incredibly respectful. They are like a well-oiled machine. 5. Isidro is a perfectionist. He monitors his crew's activity throughout the day, and personally measures the angles, lines, installation procedures, and results. He treats your property as if it was his family's property. 6. Dave has access to various vendors, which makes the material selection process easy and efficient, with many options. 7. Dave provides all the extras, from little things to large things, including the paperwork with City Hall permits, etc. 8. Dave and Isidro guarantee your satisfaction. The job isn't complete until you are completely satisfied with the entire project. You can tell they value their customer's needs. I am surprised to see so few reviews for Parkside Roofing. With all their qualities, they deserve a lot more 5 star and in-depth reviews. I hope that many more satisfied clients will write their reviews as well, sharing their positive experience with the public. Had a great experience with Dave & crew from Parkside when they repaired two leaks atop our commercial building. I appreciate that Dave presented the options to do a less expensive repair, or to do it the long lasting correct way that would cost more. Sometimes folks are short on cash and would prefer the less expensive route. We chose to do it correctly and the Parkside crew didn't disappoint. They did a thorough investigation of any possible wood damage caused by the leaks and then replaced the area roofing materials. They also took the extra time to seal up some surrounding areas that could also cause a problem in the future.
