The atmosphere is happy, vibrant, and alive. The owner, Cameron, is on a whole other level of amazing. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect and absolutely top-notch. Everything is made from scratch, prepared perfectly, and flavored so delicately and thoughtfully. It's so finely tuned -- every single bite is delicious and special. And the melted butter served in the warmer? Absolutely incredible -- unlike anywhere else! The truffle butter sauce they make is the most delicious sauce ever. Their chops- they are in a class of their own. I've never tasted a filet mignon so perfect. So full of flavor and cooked perfectly every time. Their steaks are the most delicious in the world! And yes, I've traveled the world. The sides -- the carrots and green beans -- are cooked to perfection. The twice-baked potato is like no other -- rich, creamy, and so delicious. And the desserts are beyond amazing, the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal -- especially the Billy Miner Pie... it's pure heaven. And I have to say, Corrine, Maude, and Fawn are truly exceptional wait staff. These ladies, I can't say enough wonderful things about them. They are attentive, professional, and so much fun, full of personality and warmth. They make the experience even more special and memorable. Their energy, kindness, and genuine care make you feel like family. They are beautiful in every way. You won't find service like this anywhere. They are all amazing. I wanted to go some place I haven't been before and this place popped up not to far from where I'm staying. Walking in, the place is clean with plenty of seating. I was greeted immediately and told to sit anywhere I liked. Fortunately, there wasn't a wait since it was still super early. Reviewing the menu, they have a great selection of breakfast and brunch items to choose from. I read online that they have chicken and waffles, but when I asked the waitress where it was at on the menu, she said it's not listed there and is an "off menu" item that could be prepared for me. After thinking about it, I decided that I was going to get an omlet instead. I got the greek omelet instead and let me tell you, the portions are huge! Food was absolutely delicious and I ate as much as I could. Service was fantastic and I didn't feel pressured to order anything that I wasn't comfortable with. Water and coffee were always full and my bill came in a timely manner. I will be returning when I'm on this side of town for a good solid breakfast. This place should be an example of how to do things correctly without over correcting or trying to hard. I love it here!

While both were really tasty, the quesadilla won the contest for the best! - Service was great...attentive but not overbearing. - 20% gratuity was automatically added onto the bill. Bottom line: We would go back to Alma Kitchen anytime we're in the area.

We were quickly seated in a comfortable booth and the fun began. There were so many things I wanted to order but was told "you have to order the prime rib". All four of us took that advice and that is what we ordered. 1 rare, 2 medium rare and 1 medium and that is how they were delivered. Perfect. Meals came with soup or salad. You could also order the table side prepared Caesar Salad which both of our friends did order. Just watching the preparation of the salads was amazing. Our friends have been here many times so they knew how good they were. My wife and I each enjoyed the French Onion soup which was very full flavored unlike watery versions many restaurants serve. All of our prime rib dinners were outstanding. Horseradish added to the enjoyment of this perfectly prepared dish. I had heard that this restaurant had recent new owners. I did not verify this however. Service was as good as the food. Not only was our server (Mary) excellent but anyone walking the floor was quick to take away used plates and refill drinks. I experienced one thing I've never encountered before. When bringing our checks, our server reminded us not once but twice the tip was not included. Strange and I might have reacted if everything wasn't so otherwise.perfect. Maybe she's not been tiped before-I don't know. She did the job and we paid her well for it. It ended up being the biggest waste of time and money for a meal that I could remember. First, the positives. The people were very friendly. Every employee we spoke to was pleasant and helpful. And the atmosphere was nice and the place was beautiful in its own way. But pleasant employees and attractive ambiance will only go so far if the food isn't good. The only part of the meal I thought was good was the macaroni and cheese, which was comparable to Popeye's. It wasn't great, but was the best part of the meal. My wife didn't want to finish hers because she didn't like it. As for the mashed potatoes, I could tell they had been made with fresh potatoes because I did find a lump or two, but this place has the distinction of being the only place I've ever been that was able to get real potatoes to taste like instant potatoes. You could not taste ANY butter or cream in them. The beef LOOKED amazing but stopped at looks. Nothing I ate was memorable in a good way. Nothing I ate made me want to return. And NOTHING we ate was worth the $60 we paid for just the two of us.
