He escorted us to the deli area and introduced us to our waitress, who was equally welcoming. Jillian ordered the Maurice Salad, which she swears is the best she's ever tasted. That says a lot since she lives out of restaurants. Besides being delicious, the salad was chopped into manageable bite-sized pieces, a feature she particularly liked. I ordered the Tuna Melt, and it was outstanding. It was tuna salad, red onion, dill havarti cheese, and capers on grilled rye bread served warm. Whoa! It was so good, I thanked the cooks. We pick it up and we eat it in our car down by the raisin river. It's no big deal for us eating in our car since we do this often sharing meals and avoiding eating in and having to leave a tip. My friend had the Caesar salad wrap, he said his only suggestion would be to mix up the salad and then put it in the wrap, instead of layering it so every bite has dressing in it, but aside from that no notes.
