Busy spot during the summer months, and have been here twice now and both times very tasty. We bicycled about 25km each way there, so I decided to take down the two piece halibut. Stuffed! Huge pieces of juicy halibut fried to perfection. Actually we couldn't wait, had to try the crab stuffed jalapeños. Very tasty and an interesting hoisin sauce. Gf had the perch tacos which had a really nice chimmichurri type of sauce. (You yet three tacos, she had already eaten one before the pic). Great place on the river to relax and enjoy some food/drinks. We made reservations for a few days after entering Stage 3 of the lockdown. We were seated on the deck/patio overlooking the river/marina. Atmosphere is very relaxed. Our server was fantastic, friendly, efficient and polite. 2 in our group ordered burger and fries. They both said their burger patties seemed homemade. Another in our group ordered 1 piece Halibut & chips. It came with coleslaw. he said the cut of Halibut was bigger than normal and cooked perfectly. I ordered the Cajun wrap. It was good, nothing spectacular. Could only order online and decided to order for pickup. When we got to the restaurant and they brought out the food and handed us a bill with a $9.00 tip added. We asked where this came from and they said that we added it during our online order. I'm usually good at picking up on this kind of thing after dealing with Uber Eats but I didn't see anywhere during the order process online to add or remove a tip so it must be carefully hidden. We told them this and asked if they would remove it and they declined. After moving all day from the Hamilton area to Belle River that day, exhausted and hungry, this kind of stung. An 18% tip for picking up fast food plus the food was no better than hot prepared food I could buy at the grocery store back in Hamilton means first and last time customer! read more

This restaurant seems to think you should pay extra for the turkey and ham on a Cobb Salad. Please check the recipe for Cobb Salad folks. Also got treated very poorly for stopping in while on a Sunday ride. Made us beg for a table even though they were three quarters empty. This is a dockside bar not a high end steak house. Reservations only rule is ridiculous. Further once we got a table they made sure they gave us the poorest location possible. Won't be back anytime soon. I used to be a regular there and it was great. I understand they have new owners. Perhaps they should consider the old management style and drop the attitude. read more

We made reservations here for mothers day. I had never been here before but I had heard a lot of good things. If you're into the whole marine/aquatic atmosphere you'll like the decor. I had the fish and chips. I thought, given the atmosphere, it would be similar to English pub fair. I got a single piece of battered and fried fish about the size of the palm of my hand and a small portion french fries (the frozen kind that you buy at the grocery store). It was similar to what you would get at a mall food court only this was double the price (about $18). But whatever, you're paying for atmosphere right? What really left a bad impression with me was at the end of our meal. The hostess (very nicely) asked us to leave because another party was waiting for our table. Mind you, we weren't just lingering around. We had just finished desert and had ordered more wine. We gulped down what wine we had left and high tailed it out of there. I get that restaurants need to keep the tables occupied. I feel the restaurant poorly scheduled their tables and to compensate for their lack of planning asked us to leave. If we were just sitting around doing nothing I would understand but not when people's wine glasses are half full! It was very unprofessional. My husband and I went here for the first time and loved everything !! The restaurant is huge. There's a main dining area, a seperate bar side and also an outdoor patio right on the water. We were greeted right when we walked in which is a huge plus for me! Service was friendly and fast. We went with the date night option(Thursday special) for $50 You could pick an appetizer, 2 entrees and a dessert. My husband and I both went with the steak and it was perfectly cooked medium rare.This place could easily be somewhere you would go and dress up for a nice dinner or come straight off the water for a casual drink and app. The waitress said they have live entertainment Sunday afternoons, we look forward to returning ! read more

The perch here is outstanding! The service here is phenomenal and the atmosphere is great! We had an issue with my credit card being declined as unbenounced to me, I did not have international use enabled. They were very understanding and we left knowing that our bill will be paid after contacting my bank. It was approved after we left. They were very understanding and their manager was very understanding. This is a great restaurant. Very nice people. read more

i always like coming to this local restaurant because it is right by my house... (about a 5 minute drive) the food is pretty good, but not over the top amazing! i always love coming here because the thin crust pizza is very good, probably one of my favourite pizzas. the scenery is very nice and enjoyable especially in the summer when you can sit on the deck by the boats... the staff is also very kind and polite every time i come! overall, this restaurant is pretty good and enjoyable! read more

We went here with a reservation on the 27th for a family members birthday The place was not that busy when we arrived, but we did ask for a waterfront table& ended up being seated right in the middle of the restaurant It got very busy very fast&although the server tried to keep up U could tell she was falling behind The food was just OK for the price The worst part is the server left the receipt on the table&didn't come back,so we left the tip on the table&I went to the area where U ck in I gave the girl the receipt&she promptly crumpled it up&tossed it in the garbage? By then the server was hot on our heels thinking we hadn't paid?
