From giving us honest and helpful suggestions on what to order to bringing out a surprise dessert at the end for our anniversary she was incredible. She even wrote the date we were there on our takeout boxes. I thought that was an incredibly great idea since we usually forget what date we brought food home. My wife ordered the Jose's Wonder pasta and I had the chicken parmesan. They were both great. Even the chips and salsa that are on the table when you sit down were great. We were stuffed, got takeout boxes and then she brought out the dessert. We made room for that somehow because it was simply incredible. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in town. We went over to their restaurant section and ordered at their kitchen order counter. I heard the cashier tell another customer that the dining room was now closed and they would have to get their food to go. When we ordered, I asked if we'd be able to eat there and was told that would not be possible. It was odd, as I saw people sitting at a table and getting their food delivered to their table. I inquired with the staff that brought out the food if it'd be alright for us to eat there, and she said yes. The broasted chicken we got was tasty, but slightly on the salty side. The broasted potatoes were a letdown. It was soft and not crispy at all. It seemed like since it was almost the end of the day, we were given what had been sitting around and not a fresh order. We had gotten an order for three pieces of broasted potatoes and were given five. Once again, we suspect this was because it was closer to the end of the day and they just wanted to get rid of it. The tossed salad did not look like it was tossed. The lettuce was stuck together (and perhaps had not been washed). Upon leaving, I overheard a customer confirm with staff that the kitchen closes at 6 p.m. and there are still thirty minutes until then, so there is no reason why they could not enjoy their food there.
