I was in Leamington for the weekend with my wife celebrating our wedding anniversary. We drove there from the Detroit, MI area. We were trying to think of somewhere to eat for dinner and the hosts from The Duck Pond Bed and Breakfast suggested Jose's. Angela was our server and she was incredible. From giving us honest and helpful suggestions on what to order to bringing out a surprise dessert at the end for our anniversary she was incredible. She even wrote the date we were there on our takeout boxes. I thought that was an incredibly great idea since we usually forget what date we brought food home. My wife ordered the Jose's Wonder pasta and I had the chicken parmesan. They were both great. Even the chips and salsa that are on the table when you sit down were great. We were stuffed, got takeout boxes and then she brought out the dessert. We made room for that somehow because it was simply incredible. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in town. I see there is one in Windsor which is a lot closer to us. If you go to Leamington ask to have Angela wait on you. You'll be happy you did.

I was in Leamington yesterday with my family and some family friends to go to the Leamington Art by the Marina. We walked around for about a half hour before we decided we wanted to go somewhere for lunch, with being consumed by the sun an incredibly absurd amount of fish flies, we decided on Jose's for lunch, and it was good! We got there around 12:30 and waited about 15 minutes before being seated, because it was busy, and when we finally got seated, the restaurant was clearing out from the lunch rush and was a bit quieter which was nice. Our waitress, who was really nice and polite, took our drink orders and gave us time to browse the menu. I ended up going for the Buffalo Chicken wrap with sweet potato fries and the Cajun dipping sauce which was an extra 75 cents and wasn't mentioned, but that's okay I finished it. Also was ordered at our table was the Clubhouse, Chicken Caesar Salad, Fish tacos on regular tortillas, fish tacos on lettuce wraps and a chicken Parmesan wrap. I can only speak for myself, but the Buffalo chicken wrap was good, very spicy and because of the tomatoes the wrap had excess of liquid in it. I was only able to eat half of it. Took the rest home. The sweet potato fries were the best out of my meal, they were crinkle cut, therefore more crispier and super delicious, was worth the up-charge on it. Overall it was a good experience, the waitress was super nice and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed, the meals were okay, food was a bit expensive and a bit more on the wet side, and we were inside in the air conditioning on a 35°C day, and the company was always great!

They were clearly short-staffed on waitresses, which made it really hard to order anything. I ordered one of the combination samplers and honestly it just wasn't good. The buffalo wings were cold, and the pizza looked and tasted like it had been pulled straight from a freezer. For drinks, I ended up having to walk to the middle bar myself instead of being served at the lane. That said, I do want to give credit where it's due. The young man working in the bowling area was amazing, and the customer service from him and the management team stood out in a positive way. They were attentive, polite, and professional. Overall, bowling and customer service were strong, but the food quality and lack of waitstaff definitely took away from the experience.

The music is so loud you would think your in a club. I like they have security they for the rowdy teens or even adults. The chicken salad that was like $14 was so small it could have feed a small child. For that price I could go else where and get a value amount for that price and I would be happy. I will say that the alcohol drinks were really good

It gave the impression that they were guarding the entrance and that customers were not allowed to browse their plant selection, even though the store had not closed yet. We went over to their restaurant section and ordered at their kitchen order counter. I heard the cashier tell another customer that the dining room was now closed and they would have to get their food to go. When we ordered, I asked if we'd be able to eat there and was told that would not be possible. It was odd, as I saw people sitting at a table and getting their food delivered to their table. I inquired with the staff that brought out the food if it'd be alright for us to eat there, and she said yes. The broasted chicken we got was tasty, but slightly on the salty side. The broasted potatoes were a letdown. It was soft and not crispy at all. It seemed like since it was almost the end of the day, we were given what had been sitting around and not a fresh order. We had gotten an order for three pieces of broasted potatoes and were given five. Once again, we suspect this was because it was closer to the end of the day and they just wanted to get rid of it. The tossed salad did not look like it was tossed. The lettuce was stuck together (and perhaps had not been washed). Upon leaving, I overheard a customer confirm with staff that the kitchen closes at 6 p.m. and there are still thirty minutes until then, so there is no reason why they could not enjoy their food there.

The atmosphere is lovely. Walking around seeing all the plants is so refreshing. The kids have an…read morearea to play at the arcade. There is also a petting zoo and outside playground. The food is pretty good. Fries are fresh, the skin of the chicken was nice and crispy.

When we walked in we were a bit confused as there were multiple bars and food areas. The bathrooms were on the walkway leading to the restaurant. They were small and pretty filthy. One toilet one broken and filled with waste, and the other had toilet paper all over the stall. We were visiting with our dog and discovered, after walking upstairs, that dogs are not allowed on the upper deck. They are allowed on the lower and back portions of the area. We ended up at the seafood bar on the main level. Being from Maryland we're use to seafood with a lot more flavor and seasoning to it. This was very expensive for bland seafood. We also ordered a frozen lobster bisque to-go. (The plastic containers were flimsy and didn't make it back to the mainland before it cracked down the whole side.) If we go to the island again this will be a spot to skip.
