I've been coming to parkside cafe for a few years now. It's my favorite breakfast spot in Pinellas Park. You do need to go in understanding that this is a diner and the food is good but nothing outstanding. That being said they are very reasonably priced and the servers are really friendly! They also serve mimosas if you want to have brunch.

Brunch | $10-20 I love this place!!! The food is awesome. Julie was wonderful as always today. Ruby had her smile as usual. I ordered the patty melt on sourdough bread. It is my go to. The desserts are delicious. I always get two when picking up my order. One for a late night snack. Also the fries are the best!! They are so good they almost didn't make it home

The pancake here is suuuuper fluffy and delicious, if I can recommend one thing here it's definitely that! The omelette was good too, but nothing outstanding. The fruit cup is really good and isn't filled with just melon, I liked that it had some strawberries, grapes, and bananas as well. The service was great and the interior is very cute. It's a nice little diner with pretty good food and decent prices.

A wonderful diner with fantastic service! Myself and some classmates chose this spot because in the early hours in a weekday, you just need a Bloody Mary!! We were sat down right away and accommodations were made for our party which was so helpful! I really feel like we didn't wait long at all for our drinks which was awesome, and the Bloody Mary was spicy and tasty! One simply wasn't enough! I had a sweet tooth this morning and went with the banana and chocolate chip crepes, all I will say is YUM! Everyone else was happy with their mimosas and their meals, overall positive stay and I'm sure we will return!

Sheesh! Stopped here this morning for a late breakfast early brunch with my friends. This place has some incredible food at such reasonable prices. I will be back! I ended up getting a ton of food, and it wasn't even $20 for my total bill. If you pay in cash, it is 2% cheaper. Remember that if you plan on coming. We had the pleasure of having Ana as our waitress, and she was so funny, personal, and had the best attitude. Blackened fish Sammy: 8.7 Cheese hash with eggs: 8.9 Service: 9.4 Scale system 10/10 would be what I want for my last meal 9.9-9.3 driving out of my way to get this 9.2-8.0 like the place and would go back 7.9-7.0 I would come here again if it were presented and don't have anything bad to say 6.9 and below - thanks but no thanks after trying once

I drive past this establishment on 49th St. on the way to work every day. I noticed that on Saturday and Sunday mornings especially it's busy. They have a large parking lot. The facility is very good size. It would appear they go on long weights on the weekends, but the staff is quite efficient. I made my first visit on a Wednesday morning. I was promptly said it wasn't busy at all around 8:30 in the morning. The service was quick and the food delivery equal that. I ordered biscuits and gravy and a side of hashbrowns with eggs and cheese. All in all the food quality is pretty good. I would definitely come back to sample other items on the menu. It's traditional country fair. I wouldn't say that was blown away, but it definitely well worth return visits. Thank you Michael J Beal Clearwater, Florida

Our waitress made this meal fantastic. She was funny and gave great recommendations for lunch and afternoon activities. Would return on our next trip to FL.

WE LOVE IT HERE!!! We have been here several times and thought it was about time I wrote a review. Can't believe I didn't do it sooner. Pro's: Great menu with a variety of food for everyone, even the pickiest eater! Great service. Great location. Many tables. Prices are very reasonable. Great portions & delicious! Con's: You may have to wait a little bit, but really nothing that long. It says a lot when many people come back and even more when people keep coming back. This is a great place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch.

We walked in and it was quiet with 1 other patron there and we were told to sit anywhere. The place could use an update, even for Kuntry. The menu is simple and the spelling on it was kitschy. AFFORDABLE! Nothing crazy but they do charge an extra 3% for using a credit card. I ordered an agg with biskits and gravy and I thought it was pretty good. Husband had a full 3 stack of pancakes with a side of bakon. I forgot to take pictures cause I was so hungry. The waitress was nice in our interaction.

I always judge a breakfast joint by their biscuits and gravy, and they were pretty darn good. Served with an egg for $6.99, hard to beat the price. Our server kept up with our table of 12, so that's not an easy task! Food was served hot and quickly, and everyone at the table seemed quite pleased with their selections. Several. had omelets, and they looked very good too. Decor is quirky, menu is written quirky! Fun little stop.

I have not been to Sonny's BBQ in over 20 years because I thought the food was horrible…read more April 5, 2026 my friend and I decided to give Sonny's BBQ another chance. April 5, 2026 the food was good. Natalia who was our waitress she gave us excellent service. We asked Natalia to please make sure the food was fresh and hot. Natalia did an excellent job the food was fresh hot and tasty etc. We went back mainly because of Natalia accept this time she was not on the clock so we were given another waitress. April 11, 2026 OMG what a nightmare. (This girl only had 2 tables). It took this girl 20 minutes just to get our drink order. Then we asked this waitress to make sure the food was fresh so that it would be hot. Nothing was hot a matter of fact a couple of the items were cold in the middle the ribs and pulled pork were so overcooked they were sooo dry. We asked the waitress to please get us fresh hot food. She said "yes". This girl left our plates on the table we don't know if she ever informed the kitchen to re-fire the food, as we were waiting for the waitress to remove our plates so the kitchen would know to re-fire the food, the waitress proceeded to bring an order to another table then on her way back to the kitchen she stopped and was cleaning tables. (Mind you our food is still sitting on the table we are still not sure that she informed the kitchen). When we finally got our food it was tepid at best. We had enough and I asked for the check. We waited and waited then I had enough so I went to the guy greeting people at the door and asked him if he could please get our check. This guy basically told me NO. I then asked for the manager now it's like 15 to 20 minutes later I am now speaking with the manager when this girl walks up to me and rudely hands me the check and says something under her breath. The worst waitress I have ever met. My tip to her is "find another line of work, this is not for you".

Stopped by here for lunch about 2:30pm on a Sunday. The place was not crowded at all but we were…read moreled to a table that had been recently used even though there were plenty of unoccupied tables nearby. The hostess wiped it down, but that meant we had a wet table. Each table comes equipped with a BBQ sauce caddy, plenty of wet naps for sticky fingers, and a paper towel dispenser. The paper towels were made of rough brown recycled paper, which is fine, but they had no perforations so tore very unevenly which was a nuisance. Every item on the menu, including the salads came with BBQ sauce added except the fries, Cole slaw , and Mac & cheese side dishes. Sonny's is serious about BBQ! I ordered the St Louis rib dinner with 2 side dishes ($19 and some change). I chose Cole slaw and fries for my side dishes. The fries were thick, and even though they were crispy on the outside the inside was kind of mushy. The sides were nothing special unless they had BBQ sauce added. The ribs were very meaty and the meat definitely falls off the bone. Of the 4 BBQ sauces available, I liked the original sauce the best. The other choices were smoky, sweet, and sweet & spicy. My wing man Gary ordered the BBQ pulled pork dinner with BBQ beans and Cole slaw side dishes. Our food came out quickly. I forgot to get the name of our server but he was conscientious and knowledgeable about the menu. Every time he passed our table he stopped briefly to ask if there was anything we needed. If you are serious about BBQ you should try Sonny's. My advice is order any of the BBQ dishes and ignore everything else.
