I really wanted to have a good experience with Ken Sporting Goods because we've used them for my…read moredaughter's letterman jacket since her freshman year, but unfortunately there have been problems almost every time. Her freshman year, they spelled her name wrong even though it was correct on the signed proof. They also put a patch on the wrong sleeve and told us we would have to pay for a new sleeve if we wanted it fixed, so we just left it. Now she's a senior, and I was told her senior year embroidery may not fit correctly because the spacing from the previous years was done wrong. We've also had rhinestones fall off within days and had to pay to replace them. The latest issue is what really pushed me to write this review. I was told her embroidery would take no more than two weeks, which would have had her jacket back right before Senior Night. I checked in and was then told it would be ready almost a week later, after Senior Night. The customer service throughout all of this has been disappointing and often rude. These jackets are a big deal to students and families, especially senior year, and I just don't feel like that is understood here. I have another child who is a freshman and already on varsity, and I will definitely be going somewhere else for his jacket.

The owner, Matt, is fantastic. We bought our first setups here, including the Storm Typhoon, and Matt took his time to perfectly fit both of us. He was incredibly professional and shared a ton of helpful information to get us started. What we appreciated most was his honesty. He never tried to pressure us or use pushy sales tactics just to make a buck. To top it off, his prices were great. Our first game with our own custom-fitted gear was absolutely awesome. Matt runs a good, honest business. If you need any bowling gear, I highly recommend this pro shop! Anton King

The young man working seemed very knowledgeable and experienced in proper and accurate sizing/drilling. I had 3 brand new balls that needed to be drilled. He measured my hand multiple times and throughout the drilling process. The whole process took about an hour and a half (maybe 2 hours), but I felt confident that it was done effectively with a minimal chance of needing adjustments in the immediate future. He did this working past their closing time. It was nice to witness that type of work ethic and I surely did appreciate it. It was fairly priced considering the meticulous effort that was applied. I've since been bowling a few times since then and my grip still feels good. Will return here should I need any work done on my gear.
