    Chicken tenders and waffles (plain)

Cute place. I like that it has a traditional parking lot. Went on a Sunday around 12 for brunch. It was empty! Don't know if that's good or bad. I felt like the waitress could have been a bit more aware of her timing, especially at the end. I feel like we waited extremely long to pay our tabs. I got the chicken tenders and waffles. Beautiful presentation but the chicken tenders have 0 taste.

This quaint space is nestled on Westheimer and is a great space to study or a casual night out. They offer assorted coffees, mocktails and fresh juices. My absolute favorite is the Purple Poison- lemonade mixed with elderflower that is tart goodness. Their beef burger and wings are equally as amazing. Hookah is about $13 and very smooth. Service is always nice and attentive. I love that the music is never too loud which holds space for conversation and for those studying.

Intro: I stopped by Parkerz on a Sunday for dinner. This Mediterranean spot is known for its hookah, Mediterranean fare, and trendy ambiance. Once I arrived, they had three different sections you could sit in: the patio, the main indoor area, or the "library" area. Ambiance (5/5): This is where Parkerz really shines. I've been to quite a few hookah spots in my life and they all look pretty similar. That's not the case here. You seem like you're in a tropical jungle while you're sitting indoors in the main dining area. Tropical vibes. The patio is also nice but we thought it would be a little too toasty when we visited. If you want more of an intimate experience, check out the small "library" area. Pick your poison. Service (3/5): Standard service. A little slow. Not terribly attentive. But friendly and they did the job. Drinks (3/5): Some hookah spots serve alcohol and some don't. This one doesn't. Instead, you can order bottled water (they don't have free water), juices, soft drinks, or mocktails. I've always been anti-mocktails because I feel like they're grossly overpriced so I went with an iced tea. Food (4/5): We started with the baba ganoush (eggplant appetizer) which is served with fresh pita bread. A little more pita bread would have been nice as we finished the two pieces of bread with a good amount of dip leftover. From there, we shared the mixed platter which comes with a chicken kebab, lamb kebab, and ground meat kebab. Plus rice, a little bread, and a tomato and cucumber salad. This is a good dish to order if you like some variety. The meat was well seasoned and juicy. The saffron rice was plentiful. And the salad was fresh. Overall: If you're looking for some solid Mediterranean food and hookah, while in a cool environment, give Parkerz a try. There's free parking in the parking lot they share with other businesses. It was a bit busy when I was there but I found a spot.

This is one of the few spots in Houston that I call my favorite. Good food and reasonable prices. Always friendly staff to meet and greet you. Plenty of seating options inside and outside in the patio and big fountain. And an extra icing on the cake a small prayer room.

One of my favorite spots in Houston. Service is always good and the food is always tasty what more can you ask for. I went there for my first time and came back the next day with my family. It's also halal so that made it even better. My go to is the lamb chops, they are a little spicy but packed with flavor. My lady enjoyed it a lot as well because of the vibes she was able to take nice little pictures and enjoy her food. Whenever I'm in the Houston area I make sure this is one of my stop

The food was so good, I had to take a pic with the cooks

Give Elizabeth a raise. She is the best waitress. This place is phenomenal. My first time and the food is 10/10.

The atmosphere/staff I absolutely love this place! Upon walking in, I was greeted by the receptionist. She asked me if I would like to sit inside or outside. I chose to sit outside because it was a nice day. They have beautiful landscaping outside and beautiful design inside also. If you do choose to sit outside, make sure you still walk around the inside. It's so much to see and it's just an experience. The outside area has a really big grotto/waterfall and it's very relaxing. The food The food was to die for! it was so amazing. It had great flavor and everything came quite quickly. One thing that I really loved about this restaurant was that they are alcohol free. That may not be appealing for some people, but it was for me because I typically go with mocktails anyway, so it was really nice that they had such a variety of mocktails to choose from. I ended up just getting an appetizer to share with the table, wings and a dessert. All of the food was so good. I wish I could've tried more of the food, but I was just so stuffed after eating all of that. I would highly recommend giving them a try!

Where do I begin? I cane here to celebrate a friend's birthday, I had never been here before. The ambiance was beautiful. Our wait staff was on top of his game! Service was impeccable! He was kind, courteous, and fast! The food was amazing and portioned just right. The fried cauliflower, delicious!!!! 10/10 recommend! I also ordered the salmon over rice...so good, and enough to take some home too! I will be returning!

Came here for a birthday dinner on a Thursday during spring break. There was no wait at all then I learned many were observing Ramadan, including the owner and servers so it was understandable. We had the jungle themed room and reserved for our party and they allowed us a few balloons and centerpieces to make the place pop. The decor is fun and unique, can come off a little tacky but definitely works to draw a crowd for pictures and Instagram worth moments. The food was very good. I won't lie, I was surprised. We got the wings, although they lacked lemon pepper flavor, they were cooked to perfection and very hot! Also ordered the sampler which had hummus and pesto with naan and simosas. Lastly, a gyro with lamb and pesto. All very delicious. Prices were considerably adapt to the area. The place was ok in cleanliness. I do think sometimes you can miss things getting properly cleaned when your decor is this overwhelming but nothing was down right dirty...could just use a touch up. Greasy finger prints on the tables and cups that were a little slick. There were three other themed rooms that were also cute. I would return.

Came here for dinner with a friend. Loved the decor to the drinks, the food, and the service. There are multiple rooms with various decor and photo opportunities. Free parking and plenty of it. Free entry. No reservations are needed. Just show up and enjoy. If it wasn't cold, I would have sat outside on the patio near the waterfal. This place has ample space, decent music, great service, and delicious food drinks. The food was pretty good my friends and i only went to eat over here for a late brunch. When we were done with the food and asked for the check to our surprise they had charged each of us a 23 service fee we didn't even know about ! I feel like that's something we should know ahead of time. The places is great for photos if you are trying to get a few insta pics after you eat.

They managed to keep the same relaxed neighborhood vibe people love while giving it a much more modern, polished, and upscale feel. The updated design, lighting, TVs and overall atmosphere look incredible and make the space feel fresh without losing its personality. They still have the spinning drink wheel! The outdoor seating especially feels elevated now and makes for the perfect Houston brunch spot or night out. One of the best parts about NextDoor is that it's connected to Hungry's, which means you get full access to their menu while enjoying the lounge atmosphere. Being able to order everything from cocktails and appetizers to full meals while at a bar is a game changer. The food is consistently good, the drinks are strong (especially the frozen options) well-made, and everything comes out quickly. What keeps me coming back year after year is the consistency. The staff has always been welcoming and attentive, the crowd is chill, and it never feels overly pretentious or chaotic. It's one of those rare spots that works for everything, whether it's happy hour after work, date night, catching up with friends over drinks on the patio or a solo adventure. Love seeing a longtime Houston favorite continue to evolve while still delivering the same great experience that's kept me coming back for years. Definitely one of my go-to spots on Memorial Drive. My only suggestion is to tell the younger staff members to be conscious of their conversations while guest are dining nearby. I love people watching but I heard a lot of things. It appears Hungry's uses the bar area like a break/training room or to do other tasks like rolling utensils in napkins.

We were greeted immediately by the host and seated right away--honestly, that was the smoothest and best service we received all night. After that... things slowed down a lot. It took forever for our waitress to come to the table. I tried to give grace since it was Valentine's Day, but the place wasn't even crowded, so the delay was confusing. Now let's talk about the lavender lemon drop--because when it finally arrived? Whew. Delicious. Smooth, flavorful, and dangerously sneaky. I genuinely couldn't taste the alcohol, which is both a compliment and a warning . The wait time for the drink was long, but the payoff was there. For food, we ordered the Trap Trio (egg rolls, chicken sliders, and wings). Everything tasted good, though we asked for grilled chicken sliders and received fried instead. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting. Still enjoyable overall. I also had the shrimp Caesar salad. The shrimp were well-seasoned and not rubbery (thankfully), but the salad itself didn't really stand out--just okay, nothing memorable. Overall, Foxtrap is a nice vibe spot with good drinks and decent food. I really hope the service improves and that the waitstaff receives more consistent training, because with better service, this place could truly shine.

This night I went with one of my close sorority sisters and ended up smoking hookah with her. This location was dark and very easy on the eyes. It showcased a heavy middle eastern influence since hookah is heavy there. The variety of options are given in a menu style and allow you to pick whatever fits your needs at the time. You are also able to freely smoke as long as you would like with the occasional waiter coming to replace the coals on your hookah. They also hire their DJs every night, so the music can change and control the mood depending on what is played. The do played a variety of music from hip hop to r&b and pop, there was no shortage on the tunes just know that they will change. The downside of this place is the smoke, if you're asthmatic or have trouble seeing this place might pose a couple of risk to you. You might have trouble breathing or being able to see the ground as you walk into the puff clouds of other patrons. There is also a mixture of patrons, some there to enjoy themselves and others to have parties and fun, if you're set on a flat consistent vibe then this may not be a place, there was someone on a couch enjoying their entire life while we were there, luckily we didn't care how they did anything it didn't interfere with us. Risk was also a major thing to be mindful of, the coals can be extremely hot and give damaging burns, people can also get sick from the hookah so be careful of the health risk and also use caution around the hookah to avoid coals!
