Great vibes! We loved the fireplace. The ceviche was just okay. The fries were great tho! Good beer, good music, good vibes. Great spot to chill

    Great space for community meet-ups

Came here for the first time with a community meet up group which gave flexibility of food and drink options for everyone's preferences. We reserved the side room which gave a great space to collaborate. Would love to come back and check out the outdoor space which has a stage and lots of seating too.

OMG so happy they opened here!! Wide selection of beers and such good vibes hanging around here. Tons of fire pits and seating, both indoors and outdoors. They also provided complimentary blankets for when it gets colder at night, which was a lifesaver. So so cozy here!! Southie is also apart of this spot where they serve food. Food looked bomb but sadly didn't get a chance to try. Definitely want to come back next time! Service was great and as expected!

Came here for a event. Great spot. Got an outdoor seating area with heaters when cold. Their indoor area is nice and specious with multiple screens to watch the game. The had a good deletion of beers on tap, I think over 20. Also a dog friendly spot They serve food too. Had fries, popcorn chicken/fried chicken bites, a pulled pork sandwich, and really good grilled cheeses.

This is my new, cool hang out spot in alameda! Great beer selection, food is on point, indoor/outdoor space and TVs! I like coming here on Tuesday's for their fish tacos only available on TACO TUESDAY! They had live jazz when we can on a Tuesday and we just lounged outside under the heat lamps. When I closed my eyes, I thought I was on a beach somewhere in the middle of winter (Feb).

Nice new brewery in Alameda! They have plenty of space and both in door and outdoor seating. They often have sports on the inside TVs and live music happening outside in the weekends - so it can get a bit loud. They have a wealth of great local beer options to choose from as well as some N.A. beers. Outside they also have a Southie food post. They were on the smaller side but still tasty. They can get pretty busy and is a good spot for big groups, but bartenders make sure to keep the line moving. This will be my go to brewery if I'm in the area!

Pretty nice brewery with both an indoor and outdoor area. It gets fairly crowded on a nice, sunny day. Appears to be both kid friendly and pet friendly. They have about 30 beers/ciders on the menu at a cost of about $9. Solid beer options. They also have private event spaces. Someone had rented an area for a baby shower when I went. At the adjacent building where the courtyard is, you can purchase food if you'd like.

Park Station opened recently where Big O's Tires once was. Basically a beer garden with a large selection of various beers, ciders, wines, sparkling water from cans, taps, and or bottles. Obviously everything here is brand new, built from scratch, offerings seen on a screen & adjacent wall. Plenty of seating inside or outside in a communal area. Big mural on inside wall, small one outside on backside. 1st big size "pub" in Alameda with lots of seating inside and outside. Screens to watch sports. Available for special events. Street parking difficult at peak times. Public garage is near the Theatre Downtown. Order drinks at stand at left of entrance. Food available at Southie, the building adjacent. Sips: Left Hand Brewery "Nitro Milk Stout" 6%abv. $9/16 oz. Pour. -one of only a few dark brews -has profile of subtle brown sugar & vanilla essence. Smooth without hint of harshness. Has a slight creamy finish. 4.5 stars semi-worthy:YMMV Quantity: lots of drink choices Quality/pricing: pricier than usual pub. The ambiance is worthy.

This is a new beer garden that recently opened in Alameda. They use a huge selection of beer on tap. Our server was friendly and let me taste 2 beers before I made my selection. They serve food from Southie, but we didn't try anything this time. The space is nice with seating indoors and outdoors, the fire pits outside add to the ambience. This spot is located where the Big O Tires used to be a few years back. I look forward to coming in again, whenever I'm in the neighborhood.

So much beer, I think like 20+ taps and includes cider, I think wine as well

Have gone here twice, once in soft opening and once during the start of the grand opening (both on Friday nights) and it's huge but also packed! Tons of beer to choose from, lots of places to sit but can be hard to find one due to so many people there. Food is simple but delicious and fast, so kudos to Southie for some amazing fries, grilled cheese, pulled pork etc. It is very dog and kid/family friendly, with most folx there with kids, dogs, both, and lots of large groups. It really changes the game on the side of Park Street where Highwire, Spinning Bones, etc. are and hope it helps those businesses get even more business!

Stopped by today and was reminded why this place is such an Alameda favorite. The tater tots were perfectly crispy, the popcorn chicken was easy and satisfying, and the ice cream sandwich was the surprise hit -- thick brownie layers with a rich, creamy center that's absolutely worth it. The vibe is great: friendly, relaxed, and you always end up running into people you know. This is definitely a destination for Alameda locals and an easy place to keep coming back to.

So I am a beer lover and the best kind of garden...is a beer garden. This place is great. I love the fact that its great in any weather with great indoor seating, and outdoor seating with heaters and a pretty fireplace. The service is always friendly and knowledgeable. The beer selection is vast and there are a variety of styles. Love this place!

Me and a friend ran into this place at 10am on a Sunday because we went to Alameda and didn't realize all the stores opened at 11 :( we decided to find a breakfast beer (it's a thing!) and stumbled upon Park Station. It only opened a couple of months ago and I'm so glad we found it! The staff were so nice and the space was so open with indoor and outdoor options. We had the Bacon and Eggs Imperial Porter...delish!

The menu rotates maybe every few months, I'm not sure the frequency. One time I came and had some health issues where I had to eat a salad and so I ordered the salad and I was so sad about it. And it was seriously one of the most delicious salads I have ever tasted. My 8 year old daughter ordered empanadas and it was so good. The fries are also delicious every time. The last time we went, we had ghost pepper chicken wings. The person taking our order warned us it was super spicy and he struck me as the type who could handle spice. It was so spicy, sweat and tears and sinus clearance, which is the kind of spice I chase. It was wonderful. The seating area is completely outdoors and there is live music sometimes. Very dog and kid friendly and there's ample seating every time we have come even when it's busy. All the food hits every time, as well as the beer and the service. Highly recommend.

tldr; online order wasn't available when I went to pick it up & no accommodation was offered…read more I considered not writing this but decided if I could save someone frustration from driving from afar and encountering what I did, it's worth my time. Firstly, I love GT and really enjoy their beer and visiting their taprooms. Full disclosure I'm a former professional brewer so I take beer VERY seriously! I've also worked in the service industry and understand that role. I know sh*t happens and I typically extend grace but if you know craft beer like I do you know when there's a great batch of something you love, there's nothing else like it and you will DRIVE to get it. Hop profiles shift, strike temps can differ, water chemistry varies, salts do only so much so a great batch is a great batch!! My issue is simple, when I order and pay for beer online for pickup, I expect that my beer will be there at the scheduled time. This is the second occasion that this has happened at this location, thus me writing this review. I don't have to tell anyone how rough it is driving through Bay Area traffic to pick up an order in another city and finding out once you arrive that your item isn't there. In this instance the beer-tender was extremely nonchalant and almost flippant so of course I left with a level of frustration that didn't just go away. What happened to accommodations when situations like this happen, ya know a small discount on the beer that I end up buying as a replacement. Telling me my card was refunded and you tried to call me when I have no voicemail from you isn't it. Surely my inconvenience deserves some sort of nod of acknowledgment. Overall it's an experience that leaves a bad taste, an off flavor if you will! I hope no one else encounters this and that my experiences are one-offs but I personally have very little faith that what I buy from this location will actually be there upon arrival. Better to just buy it on the spot since the convenience of ordering online doesn't seem to work out!

Besides the great pizza, they have an array of local craft beers on draft and in can, which I also appreciate. I also love their salads, which have freshly chopped veggies- nothing pre-chopped from a bag. The service at Philomena is top notch. Many of the servers and kitchen staff have worked there for years, which demonstrates management that cares and that staff like their jobs. I also know if something is not right with your order, they'll fix it. I feel that the staff puts a lot of effort into creating an ambiance that feels cozy and Oakland proud. I love the giant tables, stools, and bar. There are lots of televisions for sports watching and there are options to sit outside. Overall, Philomena is one of my favorite places to go in Oakland. I take out of town visitors there and can always bank on quality and delicious food. Is it a few dollars more? Sure, but to me it's worth it. Protips: join the loyalty program for free beers and zerts, park in their lot across the street if you're not a fan of street parking, bring the kids because you can bribe them with gelato and cookies, order delievery straight from their website (not DoorDash), and check out their Instagram for trivia and music events! The San Antonio neighborhood deserves this gem, so check 'em out.

Thankfully the server was nice and the food we had was surprisingly good. I say this because we honestly weren't sure if their seafood cioppino would be any good given the majority of their menu featured Vietnamese dishes. Interesting combination. Like Fisherman's Wharf merged with a Pho restaurant. You can get your oysters and deviled eggs and bahn mi sandwiches here. For realz, look at the menu. Anyways I liked my cioppino. Didn't have a lot of seafood but the flavor profile was spot on and the garlic bread was decent. That's why I never want to judge a Vietnamese Fisherman's Restaurant based solely on their menu--because the food just may surprise you! At this fake open mic they only wanted their personal friend to play drums for the entire night most likely because they didn't want her to be upstaged by other drummers. On another point they seemed to have an unusual lack of backing singers. The poser on the bass who was in charge of who could play pretended to be a backing singer by not using a microphone. The other two singers who were being totally overemphasized were allowed to sing way more songs than they should have. I heard nothing from either of them to make me believe they should be featured so heavily. I have been a featured big band singer before and I know a good singer when I hear one and these two were not that. I was told their star drummer was a great blues drummer but I heard nothing spectacular from her playing and it seems she could not sing a single note. In the first place if your going to feature original songs then you may as well open the music up to other styles of music since random people that show up are not going to be welcome to play songs that they never heard before. To sum it up the musicians were petty and the music was rather boring and besides if they are going to give karaoke the better time slot it goes to show they are not taking the music seriously anyway. Incidentally I noticed this was listed as a dance club but that is false since there is no dance floor. I don't know why these people have to be such liars.
